Help with cloning of my screen of my HP laptop for my AOC monitor

I have a 17 "HP ProBook 4710 running XP and want to clone my display to a portable monitor, AOC F19s LCD widescreen, for demos of software. When I click fn f4 I can't get it to appear on one or the other screen and not on both. I tried changing the settings but nothing seems to work. My colleague hooked up to his laptop to my screen and it worked instantly, so I realize it's something in my settings.

When I click fn f4 there is present the display on my laptop or the other monitor, but not both and I have also a strange result - the laptop shows my normal display and the monitor shows a blue color and my cursor moves on the monitor and vice versa.

I can not also display on my laptop and my projector - this issue seems to be related. I tried "/ settings display/uncheck"extend my desktop to this monitor"- which made no difference." -still the same problem.

Help, please.

  • Please help with replacing the W700 screen

I'm at the end of my mind here, so I really hope that someone can help you. First of all, some background: I work for my part, repair and maintenance of computers, and I have a client with a Lenovo W700 requiring a new screen. The original had been broken.

Seemed easy enough, so I ordered a so-called compatible more than a month. I installed it and it did not work. I sent a replacement. The replacement does not work either. I thought at this point, that a genuine part of Lenovo would be better than a "compatible" by someone else. I went on eBay and found the original part.

It does not, almost - but the backlight does not come on. I can vaguely see what is on the screen, but that's all. I sent a replacement, but the replacement has the same question. But here's the kicker: the original BROKEN screen backlight works normally.

What happens here? Y at - it a setting I missed, some rider, I need to clear, or is it possible there is something wrong with the machine? I need a definitive answer for my client, but here, I'm stumped.

I can't really diagnose of 3000 miles away, but you can certainly damage the motherboard by breaking the screen. It is more likely with the screens LED backlight, but it is possible with a CCFL display like yours. There is usually 2 fuses (F7 and F8) that control the backlight. I don't have a motherboard of w700 to look at for more information. On most machines, they are on top of the room near the connection of the LCD screen. You can have one or two blown fuses. Most of the shops don't want to or cannot replace the fuses. You need good equipment. It is not a job for an iron solder 'Radio Shack'. Unfortunately, you can watch replacement motherboard, which is a big problem for this model.

  • Help with Windows Vista black screen

I have a Windows Vista SP1 64 bit with 8 GB of RAM and 2 3850's Radeon ATi CrossFireX. in any case, I have a program called mechanical system, you've all probably heard before, this is an excellent program to clean your hard disk and defragment your memory. However, I ran last night and said the program automatically restarts the computer when it ended, after that he finished and I rebooted was greeted with the atrocious Black Screen of Death with a cursor, if it is not blinking and I can move it freely, but there is nothing I can do with it given the background task bar is non-existent and the entire screen is black.

I tried some of the solutions, I can not even the CTRL + ALT + DELETE to get into task manager and manually start explorer.exe; Help me please. The only type of response I can get from the system is to obtain the keys to stick to pop up when I hit the SHIFT key five times. I am very confused. I don't have external hard drives hooked up to it and there is no thumb-drive connected via USB either. I'm completely puzzled here. Please help me.

    Hello

System Mechanic, by Iolo is one of the best of this type of program, he's trying to at least
be legitimate, however it is still a Registry Cleaner and system optimizer that leaves a
much to be desired in terms of compatibility. These programs are more likely to ask questions
While fixing anything. Most are like snake oil. So my advice would be to uninstall. If you insist
use make sure you have done a current Restore Point before using it and keep current backups
    on the primary drive.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No saving necessary data and re-installing Windows Vista might be the best option, but here
    are a few others.

You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer as a 2nd disk (best) or external
Drive USB enclosure and then backup to removable media such as CD, DVD or other USB drives.
Of course a real store of the computer or the manufacturer of your system can help to recover the files.

Or you can use a boot Ubuntu CD to back up data.

You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel - device
Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - then right click
on devices and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

A method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure) is CTRL +.
ALT + DELETE - Manager tasks and tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - and then
on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is available by
repeatedly tapping F8 as you start. CTRL + SHIFT + ESC also begins the Task Manager.

Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.
That there is no information on a black screen as it is on a blue screen just adds to the

If the 1 stick is not crash after so long (depending on how long it takes to plant it now).  Remove it, put it in the other location. Do the same thing.

If a stick plant in 2 or all slot machines, do the same for the 2nd round

    Hi Jawa

In my opinion there is not a lot of options. You can order parts by authorized service partners or order it from some independent PC shop. Check if you can find a partner in your countries, or maybe someone else (they can send you everything you need to). Another way Google a little bit and I'm sure you'll find someone who can send you a new LCD screen for your laptop.

On the price I can't tell you much because we walked free and the price is different from one country to the other.

  • Help with the efficiency of the program, stop a loop for?

    Hi all

I need some advice programming General to help my VI to operate more effectively.  I have a table in which the program runs each point and 2d compares the value for the surrounding points.  The user can select the range of cells to inspect range, so if the user selects 1, then, it will compare the point (0,0) to all cells in a single cell.  If the user selects 2, then all the cells in a range of cells 2 and so on.  If the point (0,0) is superior to everything around him, then he writes this point in a table.

I made more notes in the VI to explain what is happening, but I think that the program would be more effective if I could stop a for loop to run as soon as it detects a false condition, i.e. the point (0,0) is not more than one of the surrounding points.  As it is right now, it compares at all points around him, writing TRUE/FALSE for a table, then checks if all conditions are TRUE.  That takes a lot of time if the user selects a value of 8, for example.  It would reduce a lot of processing time if he just threw to the next point as soon as it finds a FALSE condition.

Any other advice would be appreciated as well.  Try to be a more effective programmer!

    Thank you!
    Alex

I do not attach the data file, because it is too big.

In versions before the invention of the loop For with conditional stay terminal, you can do it, but you have over what a while loop to stop when your condition is True, OR when the terminal i is equal to the size of the incoming array - 1.
