  I reinstalled Adobe Design Premium CS5 (disabled on the old PC and loaded and active on new PC) and updates fail to install.  The message is "there was an error downloading this update. Quit and try again later. "This message is displayed for each of the programs in the suite.  I tried to update four times during this past 7 days and always the same answer.  Apparently Adobe does not support the product more long (5 years).  Someone at - he had this problem and successfully navigated a solution?  Thanks in advance for your help.

  I am Professor in a french University (University of Nice - Polytech Nice Sophia Antipolis) and I re - install CS5 Design premium. I managed with the fisrt and 2 DVDs, but I failed with Acrobat 9 PRO (9.0.3).

  I found the serial number for the part 1 (Photoshop, illustrator...) but we have lost the serial number for acrobat for Acrobat. I have yet the CD build date and the CD part number.

  Can you help me with my serial number for Acrobat 9.0.3?

  This version is no longer sold, so if you can't find your serial number there is no way to get a new number

• Trouble installing CS5 Design Premium - please help a novice!

  It is almost impossible for me, someone who is new to MAC in general, to understand what is happening with my system. But I learned a little through online searches and the suppory community. Ultimately no part of the entire program was already installed on my computer. Is there someone you could ask to help me. I have problems of the research on the specific error code, which I believe is where I find my answer. Most of the information I could dig up is outdated, dating back many years and does not apply (unless I'm missing something).

  I'll also post this information to the community and you send another link (updated). If you could pass it on to someone who could help me to analyze the logs... Errors, I would be grateful. My work pile up!

  Support I was called last night and offered little assistance and asked me nothing about my system or errors that occurred, telling me that the problem I feel is caused by the server updated adobe plug-ins for only support CS6 essentially making obsolete the CS5. I find this hard to believe since my fiance just to install the other licence (I bought 2 licenses) successfully, the first test, only 2 weeks ago.   To access your library of root, file, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to the Finder
  2. Use the Go menu and select folder.
  3. Type of/Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers

  This should then, open the folder library/logs/Adobe.  Please see Troubleshooting with the Setup logs.   You are allowed to have two facilities enabled, so if you prefer you can keep ut on the current computer and just install it on the new as you did initially.  If you want to remove on the other machine, the first thing to do is to disable it by opening a program in the suite and by selecting help-> turn off in the top toolbar.  That's all you need to do to disable the software.  At this point if you prefer you can uninstall it if you want.

  As much as on the new nmachine, as I indicated just, just install it like you did the first time.

  I can't answer that question, but I can say that CS5 is is no longer being updated for the new hardware and operating systems, so as far as I know, if you buy an external with the same kind of screen 'High definition' monitor you have now, you will have the same problem

  If you don't have any previous version of creative suite ideally you are not eligible for the purchase of a CS5 upgrade.

  Thus, according to the process, you will need to return the product upgrade and buy a version full, but it's not applicable in your case since CS5 is a product that is no longer available for purchase.

  The problem is that CS5 is out before OSX is enhanced security setting. It causes this misleading error because it is not "signed" as a trusted application and therefore is blocked.

  You must go to your security & privacy in the Apple system preferences and set it Anywhere temporarily before opening the DMG, installation and update. After that is finished, set it to the Mac App Store and identified developers.
