Previous versions of CS work with my CS5 Design Premium Upgrade?

I bought a CS5 Design Premium update. Since I don't own a previous version of CS, I know that working with my upgrade. Is it possible to obtain this information via the part number?

If you don't have any previous version of creative suite ideally you are not eligible for the purchase of a CS5 upgrade.

Thus, according to the process, you will need to return the product upgrade and buy a version full, but it's not applicable in your case since CS5 is a product that is no longer available for purchase.

Instead, you must purchase a full version of CS6 specific to the operating system you have.

    Go back and close look at reply # 22 in this thread. That seems a problem of permissions, and according to the proposed procedure has a number od fixed installations.

    I have my copy of CS5 Design Premium Upgrade for two users in my group. Currently, we run CS4 Design Premium on Windows XP-based computers. We also receive new Windows7/64-bit computers.

    How the 'Upgrade' does not work if we are jumping to new computers at the same time. I hope we don't have to go back to CS1 and scour all the improvements to CS5.

    When you install, after you enter the Ser No. for CS5, it will ask the Ser No. your product describing, in this case the CS4. This way it worked on my new laptop.

    You may need to uninstall/remove permission installtion on your XP machines.

    Yes, you must execute it via Bootcamp or parallels. There is no way the case. Platform swaps apply only to 'in progress' versions, which means CS6, but I no longer recommend it due to a growing pile of compatibility issues, in particular on Mac.

    I had two stolen laptops and resettlement is a real pain. This is also true for reformats them and fast transitions to Windows 7, etcetera.

    Windows 7? So don't waste your minutes of life of trial and error with an Acrobat 8 - combination of Windows 7.

    If you want to use Win 7 you will need the current version of Acrobat (XI). 'X' will work, but it is no longer sold by Adobe.

    I bought CS5 Design Premium earlier for my Windows 7 computer. Long story short, this computer is now broken so I use a Windows Vista-based computer. I tried to install my CS5 Design Premium package, however it was not possible to install because it's for a computer Windows 7 x 64 and this Vista is not x 64. So I was wondering if there was any way I could download a version of CS5 Design Premium that is compatible with my Vista computer and use my serial code for this? I can't afford to buy CS6 since I don't work, so no income, and I don't want that. I just use my CS5 programs right now.

    You can try to download the trial version of the software using the link below and then use your current serial number to activate it.  I don't know that there is no differentiation between 32 vs 64-bit systems.

    I downloaded the English version for CS5 Design Premium. The original product is (partially) in Finnish, which is no longer available. I suspect that this is perhaps why the series is not accepted, but I don't know where I could download the product of the Finnish language is.     Two factors, the language and platform will have an impact or a serial number will work them.  In both cases, the resolution is not available through Adobe, because they provide no platform exchanges of older products - or they sell older products.

    I am Professor in a french University (University of Nice - Polytech Nice Sophia Antipolis) and I re - install CS5 Design premium. I managed with the fisrt and 2 DVDs, but I failed with Acrobat 9 PRO (9.0.3).

    I found the serial number for the part 1 (Photoshop, illustrator...) but we have lost the serial number for acrobat for Acrobat. I have yet the CD build date and the CD part number.

    Can you help me with my serial number for Acrobat 9.0.3?

    This version is no longer sold, so if you can't find your serial number there is no way to get a new number
