• Problem with multiple series - CFCHART

  Using CF9, trying to create a simple table with two rows.  Problem is that when there is no value, CFCHART draws a line, but with values of '0 '.

  The first series is a set of values monthly (12) one for each month in 2011. The second series is also the monthly values, but for 2012, CDA (January to may 2012).  For all values between 90 and 100, so I have it set to "Scale" in order to see if the year is better or worse.

  I'm trying to draw series 1 (2011) on a single line and 2 of the series on a second line.  This allows to compare the results of the year on the other.  Have two QofQ, one that contains the twelve 2011 values and one that contains the five 2012 monthly values.  The x axis values are numbers (1-12 for 2011 and 1-5 for 2012).  However, I have re - format the results by using 'CreateDate', so CFCHART can identify a date and format / view only "months" on the graph (e.g., JAN, Feb, Mar... (DEC).   This works, because the bottom of the graph shows JAN to DEC.

  The chart shows 2011 correctly with 12 points and a line.  But for 2012, it shows points 5 (January-May) with their values and then shows Jun - Dec 2012 with values of ZERO.  So, on the plot of may 2012, you have this great line that goes from 90% in May to 0% in June, then 0% for the rest of 2012.  I want only to draw the line in may 2012.

  If you delete the series 2011 of the CFCHART, it appears correctly and displays only 5 months in 2012 (January-May).   And if you delete the 2012 series, it appears correctly, with all 12 months in 2011.

  
  I just need it to appear exactly like that, when two CFCHARTSERIES are used.   Even if you < CFOUTPUT > the application of 2012, you get 5 points, Jan - may.  So don't know why she wants the graphic elements 12 in 2012 with all zeros for June - dec 2012.

  Appreciate any help/tips on how to get year lines, with 12 data points for 2011 and 2012 5.

• Help with multiple locations on a XY graph under certain conditions

  Hi, I have a question about manipulating a XY Chart.

  (1) whenever the plot crosses the x-axis for value go to the top, I want the plot to change color, so that it crosses 0 will go back to the top, and I want that specific portion having a different color. It's really hard to explain, so I'll post a picture:

  As you can see, if the graph we cross the x-axis by decreasing, it should not change color. Only increase.

  I can't understand how to do this. I know it will take more than one location, but how would I randomly change the color as well as detect if its path that goes to the top or not.

  Usually, I use either screw express, but was looking for a quick solution for you.

  Here's the sample made with only the basic trigger function - no express VI.

  Also added a selectable threshold by the user.

  Then, on the space between the plots, if there is no data in the original, there no data in the colors either.

• Need help with cataloguing series Mac prelude

  I am trying to sort the serials of my business and add them to a database for our Mac technicians in case of emergency. Does anyone know what the first four digits are in a series of prelude Mac please? We have a mixed Mac and Windows desktop configuration. I don't want to mix the serials Mac and Windows. I realized most of the Mac Adobe series we have. I know our Acrobat X series begins with 1118 and Fireworks is 1193.

  Someone can close this issue. I found the answer the hard way using the installer for Prelude and try my list of publications in series, until I got a green check mark. At least I can finish my work before the staff of back on Monday and I don't have to wait on buying service picks up or unnecessary personal Adobe.

• Need help with multiple certificates in a course.

  Hello. I'm new to Captivate.

  I'm working on a course where there is more than one certificate at the end of the course. This is because it is a training course, but is taken by people who, although they do the same exact material, have different requirements on their certificates according to their profession. My problem is that I have to lead the student to one of the three certificates. Is that what I can have a drop down at the beginning of course where the student chooses their profession, then based on this variable, goes to the appropriate end of the course after certificate that they have completed the quiz?   Thank you to the Adobe community.

  You can perform the task mentioned above using advanced actions. You can create a fast action with clues.

  For example: you can put a box of text at the beginning of the project with captions for their respective profession. You can give to each profession, a trade for example, id 1 to 11, profession 2 id has 12 and so forth.

  Now the user will enter the id in the text entry box and it will speak to a particular section of the course according to their profession.

  You must use this advanced action on the text input area.

• Help with multiple video Source on DVD

  I'm new to first 9 trying to make a DVD of a birthday party with the video from my Canon Vixia HF200 and a slideshow that I exported from iPhoto to an m4v file.  It is my understanding from reading messages earlier I have to export the Flash movie, I did apart and export 'for display on computer or do DVD"and then do the same for the slide show.  But instead of an avi file, it is a flv file and I'm unable to open or import the first page 9 to create a DVD.  I'm really confused on how to put these two files together to make a DVD.  (I can not put everything together on the same project?)   I have an iMac computer and am used to make films in iMovie where you can simply add clips from various sources and then export to iDVD.  I find it difficult to get the help that I need in the Help menu of the program.  I know I have to do something wrong.  Please help if you can.

  Yes, you can get out the WebDVD from the same project, that you left your MPEG.

• Help with multiple Gradients on the layer mask

  I was watching a tutorial and I saw someone using multiple gradients on the same layer mask. When I try everything that is happening, it's photoshop to erase the last of them, I applied. An example would be using a gradient on the four corners of an image, but of different variations.

  Any help is appreciated!

• Help with multiple parameter search recordset

  I have a mysql table that is sought by both city and State fields
  using dreamweaver, I've created a form with a text field as a city as well as a list as State and me passed with the get method.
  The problem is on the results page, I have a Recordset, SELECT * FROM table name. What I do with the WHERE, I tried several configurations, and I can't get anything to work. I only want to search by two fields, city and State. The State must be, but if the city is empty, I still want to filter by status.
  
  Can someone help me or point me in the right direction, please?

• Help with multiple tasks on cDAQ9184

  I have a CDAQ9184 chassis with 3 different analog input modules installed. I read somewhere that I need a separate task for each type of module, but when I try to do, only the tasks (last creation) will actually.

  I tried all 3 modules within one of the tasks of reading, but it does not work.

  Can someone please tell me if I run 3 task on a cDAQ9184 chassis and if not, what should I do to read the three analog modules?

  You can run up to 3 jobs HAVE independent, but it is not mandatory.  You can also put the three modules in the same task.

  It seems that you have not had luck with both approaches, although I couldn't say why without additional information.  Could you post your code showing how you set up the task (s)?  Also, what error do you get?

• Need help with multiple eventListeners

  I saw a script here yesterday, but can't seem to find it.  He showed abunch of eventListeners at the bottom of the script.  To save, save, etc...  I know it is very vague and I am sorry for that but I want to see how I can implement multiple event listeners in my script.

• Help with multiple 'if' statement

  If 'age' is greater than 17 and 'relationship' is also one of the other options as son or daughter, I would a subform to appear.  Java or formcalc will be fine.  Thanks for any help.

• Creating an ebook with multiple choice questions

  Hello guys,.

  I am interested in creating an ebook pdf with the following characteristics.

  (1) it is divided into chapters and each chapter ends with a series of questions multiple choice (one answer)

  2) there are 3 'events' again in the form of multiple choice.

  What I want is, who bed the book should be able to check/radio click on the right answer. I mean that if there are 10 questions, the user should be able to click on the ten answers and then, ultimately, click a button to check the score.

  If the above process is very difficult to implement, at least, it should be able to verify the answers to the question immediately (as if he chooses a wrong question, he should get a red mark or something)

  Can I do this with a software such as Acrobat or Indesign?

  Yes, you can do this by creating form fields in Acrobat after you create the ebook in PDF format. The latest version of InDesign allows you to add fields that become form fields when the document is exported as an interactive PDF. For scoring, you will probably need to use JavaScript, but it will probably not too complicated. People in the Acrobat JavaScript here forum can help you with this part. • Multiple series in a chart flash?

  How can I have multiple series in a flashchart?
  
  I am putting together a small application for a weight loss contest at the office and I have never used graphics in the apex before... With the help of the wizard that I seem to not get only one series. I want to have one for each competitor where the user can enter his weight daily and a (line 2D) graph that displays the progress of competitors in the same chart.
  
  Do I need a plugin for this licensed or is internal Summit graphic enough?

• Help with account permissions / Yosemite

  Looking for help well informed with a pesky question of Yosemite...

  I have an old Mac with multiple disks, and I try to get the most recent versions of Mac OS X installed and working properly.

  The hardware and OS details:

  • Mac Pro 4.1 ("cheese grater")
  • 3 hard disks 1 to
  • Machine has been (and is still) 10.6.8 Snow Leopard as its main operating system running.  It's on HD #2.  That works very well, though obviously limited the age (old apps).  I need to keep this as a configuration to boot can be used - in other words, I need to preserve the ability to boot from the HD #2 in 10.6.8 as this is currently my workplace every day and will probably continue for a while.

  Last year, I installed 10.10.3 Yosemite on internal HD #1.  I initially had some difficulties to be able to switch between the boot disks, but am now able to choose with reliability drive/starting system at startup via the Startup Manager (boot, invoking the Boot Manager, I choose #2 with 10.6.8 HD or HD #1 with 10.10.3).)

  So far so good.

  Everything works well when it is started on the 10.6.8 by car.

  When it is started off the coast of the 10.10.3 drive, there is account/permissions issues that prevent me from using it for something meaningful.  That's what I'm trying to correct now.

  Note that I installed 10.10.3 on HD #1 for over a year and I've never used for anything - that the drive is empty other than the operating system.  If I need to blow this facility, I can do.

  The problem: I am currently not able to install apps on HD #1 (after starting on #1 with 10.10.3). HD  When I try to install anything, the operating system will appear an authentication dialog box: '< name of install App > wants to make changes. Type of administrator name and password to enable this. »

  I get my account name and PW (which I have always used for everything on this machine for ever), and it fails.

  Research in system preferences > users and groups, I see not what probably is the problem: my account is a "Standard user", not an administrator account.  There is no listed administrator account (in fact, no other users listed, other than the "Guest", which is disabled).  I don't know how he got in this State, I was always the administrator on this machine, and I guess it would have copied accounts and permissions of the 10.6.8 installation, or otherwise if he asked me about this information during the installation I took myself as an administrator.  In any case, my user account is now "Standard", which is probably the cause of the current unrest.  I am constantly invited to enter a log in admin whenever I try to do anything (a 'function' rather annoying but lets not go).  This machine is my home, nobody else is going to have physical access to it, no children in the House, that's for sure, I prefer to ignore as many log-ins required security etc. as possible, but for now, I just get my user configured as an administrator account.

  What is the best way to achieve this?

  As I said, I have nothing invested in the current installation of 10.10.3 HD # 1, this player is all-but-empty and I can blow that installation (and re - format the drive) if it's the easiest path.  But it is extremely important that I have the integrity of the other disk, HD #2, which is running 10.6.8 and has important data and apps on it.  I want to make sure that everything I do with or HD #1 and 10.10.3 is no impact on the #2 HD and my ability to boot from 10.6.8 on it.

  (I also have a third 1 TB internal disk (HD #3).  This player is 100% empty and unused.  After I get the permissions of the account/fixed on HD #1 with 10.10.3, I would then install 10.11 El Capitan on HD #3 - and have the ability to boot to one of the three systems - but I'll keep my questions on that until I have the 10.10.3 sorted issues.)

  Then... I guess the only real issue here that I need to address is the fact that my user account on #1 on 10.10.3 HD is not an admin (no?) account.  If this is the case, what is the best way for me to fix this?

  Can you unlock the preferences system/users and groups? If so, you should be able to give administrator privileges. See if something in this article helps you. Since you have nothing else on the disc, if all else fails, delete and reinstall. Setup Wizard will allow you to create an admin account.

  User account - add new Admin

  Make a backup, best 2 separated on 2 discs. Start of recovery volume (command - R on a restart, or hold down the option/Alt during a restart and select the Volume of recovery). Run the check/repair disk utility and repair permissions until you get no error.  Reformat the hard disk using Disk Utility/Erase Mac OS extended (journaled), then click on the Option button and select GUID. Then re-install the operating system.
