• Need help with multiple certificates in a course.

  Hello. I'm new to Captivate.

  I'm working on a course where there is more than one certificate at the end of the course. This is because it is a training course, but is taken by people who, although they do the same exact material, have different requirements on their certificates according to their profession. My problem is that I have to lead the student to one of the three certificates. Is that what I can have a drop down at the beginning of course where the student chooses their profession, then based on this variable, goes to the appropriate end of the course after certificate that they have completed the quiz?   You can perform the task mentioned above using advanced actions. You can create a fast action with clues.

  For example: you can put a box of text at the beginning of the project with captions for their respective profession. You can give to each profession, a trade for example, id 1 to 11, profession 2 id has 12 and so forth.

  Now the user will enter the id in the text entry box and it will speak to a particular section of the course according to their profession.

  You must use this advanced action on the text input area.

• Help with multiple locations on a XY graph under certain conditions

  Hi, I have a question about manipulating a XY Chart.

  (1) whenever the plot crosses the x-axis for value go to the top, I want the plot to change color, so that it crosses 0 will go back to the top, and I want that specific portion having a different color. It's really hard to explain, so I'll post a picture:

  As you can see, if the graph we cross the x-axis by decreasing, it should not change color. Only increase.

  I can't understand how to do this. I know it will take more than one location, but how would I randomly change the color as well as detect if its path that goes to the top or not.

  Usually, I use either screw express, but was looking for a quick solution for you.

  Here's the sample made with only the basic trigger function - no express VI.

  Also added a selectable threshold by the user.

  Then, on the space between the plots, if there is no data in the original, there no data in the colors either.

• Help with the Task Manager

  When I click CTRL/ALT/DELETE I can't see my task manager? I see a green box on my right side of my toolbar, but I can't access the Task Manager? I don't know if I've accidentally changed a setting, but I need some help please?

  This green box is reduced Task Scheduler.  Double-click on this green area to fully open.

• Help with multiple video Source on DVD

  I'm new to first 9 trying to make a DVD of a birthday party with the video from my Canon Vixia HF200 and a slideshow that I exported from iPhoto to an m4v file.  It is my understanding from reading messages earlier I have to export the Flash movie, I did apart and export 'for display on computer or do DVD"and then do the same for the slide show.  But instead of an avi file, it is a flv file and I'm unable to open or import the first page 9 to create a DVD.  I'm really confused on how to put these two files together to make a DVD.  (I can not put everything together on the same project?)   I have an iMac computer and am used to make films in iMovie where you can simply add clips from various sources and then export to iDVD.  I find it difficult to get the help that I need in the Help menu of the program.  I know I have to do something wrong.  Please help if you can.

• Help with multiple Gradients on the layer mask

  I was watching a tutorial and I saw someone using multiple gradients on the same layer mask. When I try everything that is happening, it's photoshop to erase the last of them, I applied. An example would be using a gradient on the four corners of an image, but of different variations.

  Any help is appreciated!

• Help with multiple parameter search recordset

  I have a mysql table that is sought by both city and State fields
  using dreamweaver, I've created a form with a text field as a city as well as a list as State and me passed with the get method.
  The problem is on the results page, I have a Recordset, SELECT * FROM table name. What I do with the WHERE, I tried several configurations, and I can't get anything to work. I only want to search by two fields, city and State. The State must be, but if the city is empty, I still want to filter by status.
  
  Can someone help me or point me in the right direction, please?

• Need help with multiple eventListeners

  I saw a script here yesterday, but can't seem to find it.  He showed abunch of eventListeners at the bottom of the script.  To save, save, etc...  I know it is very vague and I am sorry for that but I want to see how I can implement multiple event listeners in my script.

• Help with multiple 'if' statement

  If 'age' is greater than 17 and 'relationship' is also one of the other options as son or daughter, I would a subform to appear.  Java or formcalc will be fine.  Thanks for any help.

  I am trying to add a series of line to an areaChart (Cartesian actually)
  
  I can easily add the second series via action script or tags.
  
  The problem occurs when I try to update the series online. Each time series of line data are changed the main series of plot runs its animation (slide).
  
  
  Is it possible to update the series line without enacting the plotseries animation?

  Solved.

  What I did to remove the animation from the series, whenever the line series was created.

  Because the data in the chart could change only when a user moves a slide I added animation when the mooused of the user down on the slide.

• HP Photosmart 5514: HP Photosmart "in use with another task' error.

  I'm sure you're all sick to see these questions, but I have not found that a reliable solution among the responses presented anywhere else on the internet.

  I have a printer HP Photosmart 5514, part of the 5510 B111 d e-all-in-one printer series, and it currently only allow me to scan a single document (with multiple pages). I connected via USB, not the network connection. My current operating system is Windows 10, 64-bit. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers several times, using different methods: a part of the HPSolutionsFramework, installation of the manual pilot on its own and even with the method of detection of device HP Support Assistant. I tried the most common answer of "unplug, restart the computer, plug in. I also tried printing HP and doctor Scan to see if there is a driver problem but it clears all controls and nothing seems to be wrong. To be clear, restarted my computer "solve" the problem, even temporarily and no is not a final solution to my problem.

  Explanation of the issue:

  I run the HP Photosmart 5510d series software and click on the button "scan a Photo Document or". When the window opens, I click on "scan document to the file" and proceed to scan my document with however many pages, adding each page I want. When I'm finished, I hit 'save', my backup file and click 'done '. When I proceed to scan another document, hit the button causes nothing happen but one his mistake. When I start printing HP and Scan doctor and trying to do an analysis of test after he tells me that everything is going well, I get the error message:

  "The HP scanning application is currently in use with another task or another user on this computer. Please wait until the other task is finished, and then try again. »

  To be quite clear, there is no other task that I'm aware of in addition to the fact that somehow the software does not seem to let go of the analysis. There are no other users who use the computer outside of me. There is no other hidden running application. I went through the Task Manager to kill all the associated HP process to see if something it stops to run again. The only chance I have is with my computer restarts, but it would be foolish to scan documents of mass and restart after each.

  It worked properly on my other hard drive with the same version of Windows 10 installed on it. 10 Windows installed on a new drive and it does not appear to want to work after 1 document.

  If anyone has a help in this case, it would be greatly appreciated.

  Generally speaking, the reason why you get "the HP scanning application is currently in use with another task or another user on this computer. Please wait until the other task is finished, and then try again. "is because that the network signal is lost the connection and the freezing of the task analysis or the previous scan operation never ended.

  Please, try the steps in these guides:

  • Scan network connection is lost (Windows)
  • "Scan cannot be performed because another program or computer uses the network device" message in Windows when scanning on a wireless network

  TIPS:

  • Move the printer and the router more closely in order to improve the quality of the signal.
  • Change the channel on the router wireless.

  Ensure that your router and firewall do not block these ports.

  • Scanning: The UDP port: 427 TCP ports: 9220, 9500

  Hi, tag Configuration DAC control inclusion of tasks in the areas. Each configuration will have tasks related to requirement specific biapps.

  Default BIAPPS OOTB areas will have tags associated Configurations and few will be in idle state.
  (Click on any area of DAC--> ConfigurationTag (in the lower pane) to check that result from the Configuration Tags)

  1. this message is just a reminder that DAC said you, there are a few other tasks that can be included in the area in question and that the associated with these tasks Configuration tags. In case if you forgot to add them click 'Cancel', add it and then go back up

  2. in all other cases, if you do not need to add these Configuration tags you can press continue to finish the Assembly of the area in question

  Depending on the requirement and tasks that need you to include or exclude specific topic area.
  Before mounting check if you must include a Configuration, activate it, and then click on go.

  For example: in the Configuration of BIApps topic: to charge the time Dimension Tables after the Data Warehouse is responsible

  1. to extend the size of the day, you must include a configuration named * "extend day Dimension multiple calendar Support." * which adds additional specific tasks. Then assemble the area in question

• Help with account permissions / Yosemite

  Looking for help well informed with a pesky question of Yosemite...

  I have an old Mac with multiple disks, and I try to get the most recent versions of Mac OS X installed and working properly.

  The hardware and OS details:

  • Mac Pro 4.1 ("cheese grater")
  • 3 hard disks 1 to
  • Machine has been (and is still) 10.6.8 Snow Leopard as its main operating system running.  It's on HD #2.  That works very well, though obviously limited the age (old apps).  I need to keep this as a configuration to boot can be used - in other words, I need to preserve the ability to boot from the HD #2 in 10.6.8 as this is currently my workplace every day and will probably continue for a while.

  Last year, I installed 10.10.3 Yosemite on internal HD #1.  I initially had some difficulties to be able to switch between the boot disks, but am now able to choose with reliability drive/starting system at startup via the Startup Manager (boot, invoking the Boot Manager, I choose #2 with 10.6.8 HD or HD #1 with 10.10.3).)

  So far so good.

  Everything works well when it is started on the 10.6.8 by car.

  When it is started off the coast of the 10.10.3 drive, there is account/permissions issues that prevent me from using it for something meaningful.  That's what I'm trying to correct now.

  Note that I installed 10.10.3 on HD #1 for over a year and I've never used for anything - that the drive is empty other than the operating system.  If I need to blow this facility, I can do.

  The problem: I am currently not able to install apps on HD #1 (after starting on #1 with 10.10.3). HD  When I try to install anything, the operating system will appear an authentication dialog box: '< name of install App > wants to make changes. Type of administrator name and password to enable this. »

  I get my account name and PW (which I have always used for everything on this machine for ever), and it fails.

  Research in system preferences > users and groups, I see not what probably is the problem: my account is a "Standard user", not an administrator account.  There is no listed administrator account (in fact, no other users listed, other than the "Guest", which is disabled).  I don't know how he got in this State, I was always the administrator on this machine, and I guess it would have copied accounts and permissions of the 10.6.8 installation, or otherwise if he asked me about this information during the installation I took myself as an administrator.  In any case, my user account is now "Standard", which is probably the cause of the current unrest.  I am constantly invited to enter a log in admin whenever I try to do anything (a 'function' rather annoying but lets not go).  This machine is my home, nobody else is going to have physical access to it, no children in the House, that's for sure, I prefer to ignore as many log-ins required security etc. as possible, but for now, I just get my user configured as an administrator account.

  What is the best way to achieve this?

  As I said, I have nothing invested in the current installation of 10.10.3 HD # 1, this player is all-but-empty and I can blow that installation (and re - format the drive) if it's the easiest path.  But it is extremely important that I have the integrity of the other disk, HD #2, which is running 10.6.8 and has important data and apps on it.  I want to make sure that everything I do with or HD #1 and 10.10.3 is no impact on the #2 HD and my ability to boot from 10.6.8 on it.

  (I also have a third 1 TB internal disk (HD #3).  This player is 100% empty and unused.  After I get the permissions of the account/fixed on HD #1 with 10.10.3, I would then install 10.11 El Capitan on HD #3 - and have the ability to boot to one of the three systems - but I'll keep my questions on that until I have the 10.10.3 sorted issues.)

  Then... I guess the only real issue here that I need to address is the fact that my user account on #1 on 10.10.3 HD is not an admin (no?) account.  If this is the case, what is the best way for me to fix this?

  Can you unlock the preferences system/users and groups? If so, you should be able to give administrator privileges. See if something in this article helps you. Since you have nothing else on the disc, if all else fails, delete and reinstall. Setup Wizard will allow you to create an admin account.

  User account - add new Admin

  Make a backup, best 2 separated on 2 discs. Start of recovery volume (command - R on a restart, or hold down the option/Alt during a restart and select the Volume of recovery). Run the check/repair disk utility and repair permissions until you get no error.  Reformat the hard disk using Disk Utility/Erase Mac OS extended (journaled), then click on the Option button and select GUID. Then re-install the operating system.

  First uninstall Sophos. Anti virus apps are not necessary and may cause problems. Remove the bittorrent as well. It can be a source od malware.
