• Could use help with Safari rendering bug

  I have a web page that is displayed in white when loading in Safari. Once it is cached, if you reload the page, it appears to the right. It has been tested successfully on Firefox and Opera - I can't understand what is causing the problem in Safari, or how to fix it.   Most of the time, this problem has been resolved. I say only "sort of resolved" since I could not fix the bug of rendering directly, but instead used another method which really amounts to an ugly hack. Essentially, I made a copy of the web page of problem, used a refresh metatag on it and she was redirect duplicate page. Obviously not the ideal way to deal with the problem of web pages, but at the end of the day, it's only a 3 page site and my little hack does the job.

• MAC OS 10.6.8 using Safari 5.1 need help with Adobe Flash update

  Hello-

  Recently, Adobe Flash installed an icon in my system preferences and when I click the icon it has several tabs.  It allows updates automatically check.  It is said it will install the latest version of Flash without having to remove the previous version, but I've never said that a newer version is available, unless I have click "check now".  Although "Check updates automatically" is checked, I don't know where he tells me a newer version is available.  In addition, there was 5 "new versions" available since this icon has been installed in the system Prefeences, I only found on newer versions when I clicked on "check now".  If I read that with this new way to install the Mac final version of Flash requires not me to uninstall the previous version of Flash how we installed the latest version of Flash?  Is it in an email?

  Because it tells me that there is a newer version of Flash unless I click on "Check now" must still do the way I used to install the latest version of flash?  (The path in front of this icon was added to the system preferences)?

  I would appreciate help with update Flash to the latest version.  I used to uninstall the old version, restart the browser and download the latest version and install it.  He always worked find, but that was before there was an Adobe icon in my system preferences.

  To sell or transfer ownership of a Mac, even to a member of your family, you must follow these instructions. So far, you will have continuous problems.

  Refer to what to do before you sell or give away your Mac

  1. If you have enabled FileVault, disable it in system preferences > Security and privacy.
  2. "Remove" your iTunes account. Ditto for Audible if you have one.
  3. System Preferences > iCloud > deselect 'Back to My Mac' and 'find my Mac '.
  4. Disconnect from iCloud. Select "Delete from Mac" when it appears.

  Next: delete all of your personal information by erasing the internal storage of the Mac completely.

  1. If your Mac comes with a grey system installation DVD, start up your Mac with this disc in the optical drive, all holding the key c to boot from it instead of its internal volume, which must be erased before selling.
     • Apple stopped Macs shipment requiring these discs in August 2011.
  2. If your Mac does not comes with disks, boot OS X Internet Recovery:
     • using three fingers press on and hold the following keys: ⌘(command), optionand R.

     • This method force the Mac to download BONES initially installed from Apple servers, that won't require not an Apple ID install.
  3. Remove any password Open Firmware, if you created a: select utility password firmware in the Utilities menu and remove.
  4. Select disk utility from the utilities menu.
  5. Delete all partitions that can be created.
  6. Select the icon for the hard drive to the Mac, and then select the tab "delete".
  7. Click on the 'Security Options' button and erase the drive.
     • More "robustly" you erase the disc, the longer it will.
     • The fastest method is sufficient, since all but the techniques more expensive and equipment will be able to recover data deleted safely.
  8. When he finishes, quit disk utility.
  9. In the utility menu, select Install Mac OS X .

  Uninstall Avast. It's a worthless scam that don't do anything useful. The only thing it does is a lot more then what it claims, that he you will protect from.

  Please describe the problem in more detail?

  Try to reset the settings of Safari:

  1. open Safari

  2. click on the Safari menu at the top (to the right of the Apple logo)

  3. Select the Preferences/Privacy tab

  4. click on remove all data from the Web site

  5. close Safari.

  Remove cache Safari files:

  1. click on finder

  2. look for the menu GO to top

  3. click on GO and hold down the option key. This will show a user library folder.

  4. click library and find the Caches folder

  5. in the folder caches com.apple.Safari Ouvrezledossier

  6. move the Cache.db file Trash.

  This should solve the problem. If it does not help, try to disable the Safari extensions

  My son updated to OS X El Capitan, last week and since then, I have major issues with Safari. Safari works very well for about 5 minutes and then it stops just respond or takes forever. So annoyed. If anyone knows how help I would appreciate. Is there a way to downgrade to OS X Yosemite?

  If you have a TM backup before you upgraded, you can restore from, if not backup your computer and reinstall Yosemite.

  For Safari, turn off all the extensions you can have and test. You can also boot mode safe and test.

Suddenly, after you attach a file, the screen always says "connecting", but I have never so much as to see a time bar download.   I know that some sites depend on flash for their download features. You can also try from Firefox Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode. If you do not have the issue so that all your modules, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them in one by one until you find the culprit. • Problem with Safari, after update

  I use a MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite, 10.10.5 - and after the last update, I have problems with Safari (version 9.1). Some Web pages I visit every day is more responsible (I get the message that the page needs to be recharged because she failed the first time, but this does not work then either). This problem started just after the last update. Does anyone else have this problem? What I have to go back to the previous version or can I fix this problem?

  -After that click on verify disk permissions, and then click Repair disk permissions

  -Once the process is complete, stop your Mac and turn it on again after 30 seconds

• Help with a beach running slow filled iMac ball

  Hello

  We have problems with our iMac, like below. If anyone has any inside. There is plenty of space on the hard drive and I have just run Cocktail to maintain and made sure the operating system is up-to-date.

  We often live very slow behavior in task such as launch of mail, safari or anything else besides and sometimes even just type text in boxes. It is also very slow at startup and shutdown.

• Many problems with Safari

  I have several problems with Safari:

  -It shows the URL/website address twice (side by side). Let's say the line below is my address bar:

  And if it's a long URL, you can not read more because it's a URL on top of the other/same URL (so they are overlapping)

  -Even if I open new tabs, it will not show the underside of the bar and I have to close all other tabs to access a specific tab

  -I can't type something into the address bar and have it redirect me to google

  -When I get a letter now, it suggests not only all used frequently sites more

  -Quite often I can't even enter anything in the address bar

  I also closed and reopened Safari, rebooted my Mac and deleted the history, cookies and caches.

• Very slow Macbook Pro (2012), please help with report EtreCheck

  Hi all

  My Macbook runs very slowly, I tried a number of things suggested online but none worked. I recently went to a repair shop and they suggested it could be to do with the dataflex (not sure if this was exactly, but I remember it sounding similar.) They described as a hard drive to another internal component connection, sorry for the inaccuracy.) I have me am replaced, but this did not help either.

  I downloaded the software EtreCheck and I was wondering if someone could help me to make light of the report on possible solutions? I have the feeling that it could be the hard drive needs to be replaced, but have no evidence of that. Verification has been run for the problem of "Beachballing" and got the sub report, please let me know if more info would be helpful. I hope it's telling in a way!

  It looks like of course as evidence of a hard drive failing for me. Hard drives 2.5 "in the MacBook Pro tend to fail after 2-3 years. Judging by the date on your MacBook, I think that your time is up. Maybe try to find a different repair store. Looking for Service Center authorized Apple (https://locate.apple.com/).

  I suggest upgrading to an SSD and increasing your RAM too. Then you have the hardware to run the last OS X 10.11.
