  Hello

  Last night, does not have an ArcServe backup on a single virtual machine.  Not the end of the world, that has happened before.

  This morning, received an alert from a script that I coded to look for * delta * files on our data store.  A delta file has been abandoned here. We have to drive on this machine and the file only delta remained for one of these discs. Usually, all I have to do is create a new snapshot, delete all snapshots and everything returns to normal.  This time, the Delta stayed there.

  So I tried to create another snapshot option (with suspend it), as mentioned in the vmware.  He failed (Timed out).  Damn now I stuck out there for all of our disc delta files.  Tried again with the options suspend like 10 minutes after.  Works.  Delete all snapshots, works, but still stuck with these delta files.

  OK, the thing is all these 00000?-files delta does not appear to be used, as the modification date remained at the time of the snapshot.

  And also, the .vmx file doesn't seem to point to the delta files.  Then maybe I could safely remove?

  Indeed, it looks like some files are orphans. If it is possible to turn off the virtual machine for a short period, I would say that you do this, then move the hard orphaned directory and power on the virtual machine again. If everything works, delete the subdirectory, including files. What I found useful is RVTools that reports these files as "Zombies".

  I need help creating a simple batch file that performs the following operations:

  Move all files AND folders in a source folder to a target folder. The source folder will be mklinked with the target folder and an infinite loop can be possible, not sure if any order would be necessary here to avoid this? Executed once A thing, or a thing to stop?

  It comes to free up space on an SSD by iTunes forced location for backups and apps to be physically on another HARD drive, but available as if it were in default location.

• Catalogue again pass PC but moved with the tree files metadata and tag

  I'll start at the beginning. Years ago I had PS elements 4 original and upgraded to PSE11 on the same computer and no problem. . at some point, we moved the files from a PC to a new PC. We knew on the displacement of PES in the catalogue and transfer of files. I guess I have relabelled and organized all the photos and was happy for years.

  Last month my husband used the utility PC mover 'link turn' PES 11 to a new PC by moving all the files. I then found the problem, because all my photos had no information and no tag and no tree tag on the screen.  As a precaution, I saved the metadata to all media and created a tree of xml on the old PC before tags it back up again. We were going to do the process of back-up/restore to the new PC, but when my husband was struggling to install Adobe PES 11 on the new PC he transferred somehow all my photos (12,000) and there they were with labels and information and all organized under their respective keywords.

  The problem is PSE11 created a new file (Bethpictures) with all the photos inside.

  Now it seems that we SO 3 separate files with these same pictures 12 000 each. I see all these folders on the left side of the page of the Organizer.

  (1) the original file from Windows

  (2) the old file from PC-bethalbums

  (3) new file of PC-bethpictures

  and XML file - tree of the tag

  so is it possible to remove redundancies and the tag tree file without any screwing or should I delete it all and make the catalog upward and restoration of the process. Can we put the Bethpicture file under bethalbums and remove duplicates? Or get rid of bethalbums (from old PC) and only has Beth photos (new files created by PSE)? Can I delete this file tree of xml tag or ultimately the removal of the tree of the tag on my page of Organizer PSE?

  Should I back up catalog now on the new PC? And then when I get a new PC in the future I can use the backup/restore process or one should always save metadata to file?

  You have layoffs after several restorations.

  Before you delete it, you should check which of these 'restorations' are the best.

  Each restoration produced a copy of your image tree and a catalog folder.

  When you open the organizer with one of the catalogues referring to these various restorations, you can consult:

  -where the pictures are stored (in the information on the right panel)

  -where the catalog folder is stored: Help menu > system information.

  If you are satisfied with a given restore session, at the locations above should not be deleted, the others can be deleted completely from the Explorer or Finder.

  Your catalog is probably not in the default location on C:, it may be in a different location. You can use Catalog Manager to move the catalog to the location by default if it is not already there.

  It would be a good thing. Registration of metadata to the files is a good and redundant way to be sure, but a healthy backup is sufficient.

  I've been programming some time in Actionscript 3 now. But most of the time I did not so much major projects. So I just had 1 folder with the Fla and class and other classes for different objects. But yesterday, I discovered that I need some more when structuring projects is growing. So what I would like is to have the main file with fla and a file in this folder with the classes or something. • Need help with the update server behaviors and deleting records

  I am 'trying' to use the update and delete record server behaviors and I can't get the redirection page to set up correctly. What I'm trying to do, is to have the redirection came up with the right records depending on the CompId page. It seems that it is taking the CompId and agreementId (which are my unique ID) and use them in the url of the redirection page. Also, it updates the table.   CompId is not filled in the URL because you try to use the result of the rsAgree recordset object until the result of the recordset is created. However, you pass the CompId value via array $_POST as a hidden field.

  Change this line (52):

  $updateGoTo = "agreement_home.php?CompId=" . $row_rsAgree['CompId'] . "";
  

  to do this:

  $updateGoTo = "agreement_home.php?CompId=" . $_POST['CompId'];

  I have a computer that is using thunderbird for imap emails. Any time I try to view a pdf, the open used attachment attachment and is reported as damaged. I downloaded a PDF directly from godaddy (mail host) and I can view the file properly. I also noticed that the file I tested was 105K when shown on the godaddy webmail but it was only 103K when appearing as an attachment under thunderbird. I also forwarded the email to myself since the webmail and when I open the email of forwareded, the size of the file is correct and the pdf file now opens. I would like to be able to open PDF files with thunderbird without having to send them to myself since the webmail. Are there settings I could change so that PDF files will be correct the first time?

  Try this: open Tools/Options/Advanced/general/Config. Editor, double-click on the mail.server.default.fetch_by_chunks preference to change its value from true to false, close the Config. Editor, OK, restart TB and see if you still have problems to open the attachments.

  And that is exactly? Sorry, it's far too vague. Provide a framework for inspection sequence or screenshots. In any case, I get this magic tingle in my left toe, who told me that files were rendered with incorrect parameters in your 3D, so exposure program and internal value chains are far away, resulting in the apparently faulty behavior. Either they are hopelessly over-exposed (all values greater than 1) or your lines are so small (shortly above zero, but never reached space of 0.5 to float maybe) that even small adjustments whack out them. There's certainly nothing wrong with the effect...

  are recovery disks to reinstall vista with the original hardware installed if I understand you correctly know what records you need to know a set of manufacturer's recovery disks

  If it is pre-installed this is an oem license and does not change unless you did it in consultation with the manufacturer of models of motherboards and processors

• Need help with the advanced file Type changes

  Somehow all my folders of changed files option.  Instead of the folder when you click it, it opens the search.

  I know where and what to change, just do not know how.  Under Tools > folder options > file types, I select "files" and click "Advanced".  Of course, it says 'find '.  I click on 'new' under 'action', I type 'open', but what should I put under "Application used to perform action:"?  It won't let me not leave the field empty.  When I looked to see how it was done in 'file', 'edit' is gray.  I tried to look on other computers, but everyone has Vista, Vista doesn't even have a tab "file type" under folder options and I couldn't find it anywhere else.

  Even if you don't know the answer, if you could look to see what it says on your computer and let me know.  Like I said could not find on Vista, I am running XP.

  Yes, I know that I can do a right click on the folder and open it, and that's what I do.  It really happened to be a pain in the you-know-what.

• Help with the older file types

  Technical question for all my fellow Mac geeks. I am trying to open Zip OLD files. Here is a picture of the gadget that back, we then used to store their and a screen shot of what the files as now when I open the drive of the back then. When I try to open these files, I get a message saying that Photoshop can not open them because it does not recognize the file type.

  Anyone have any ideas? Is there a way to get around this? Alternatively, where I could ask about it?

  I use a simple laboratory setting.  My DC is called "dc" and my domain name is called horizon.local - I am using the 'administrator' account that I did not move and is still under the Group of users.  What would be my BASE and DN LINK?

  BASIS would be: DC = Horizon, DC = local

  Bind would be: cn = administrator, OU = users, Dc = horizon, dc = local

• My laptop when turned on only comes up with the name of dell, and stops. Setup and boot menu = f2 = F1

  laptop does not start at the top. After trying menu start, it indicates there is no boot device. I would like to start fees and re install windows xp but I don't have a cd or a disc if I have the product key. Can someone help me clean up my computer and re install windows without the cd, which I hope it will fix the problem

  Thank you for taking the time to post.  You're saying that it sounds as if your hard drive is not detected.  You will need to contact the manufacturer of your PC to help with the possible hardware failure and to get copies of the system restore disk.  There is not a way to install windows without a CD or a recovery partition on your hard drive (which it appears right now that your laptop does not see).   Please go to the preferences > workspace and uncheck the option 'open the document in the tabs '.

  

  Now you can click on file and choose file > open and open the two images in two different windows which can be arranged side by side.
