  It seems only that column is due to a function based index but there is no indication of function based there:

  I tried to delete the column, but it's impossible:

  Unfortunately, Oracle developers are not so strict these days and not all bits are documented.

  (2) oracle 12 (or was this some 11.2 end?) has introduced a new feature: possibility to add a new NULLable column with a default value, without updating the actual lines. However, it is not feasible 'usual way' - if the column is not present in the line, how can you tell if it is omitted because it is NULL ('trailing null values'), or because it was never there in the first place, and therefore the default value is the correct value?

  So the solution is Oracle adds a column '' custody '' at the table. This column is added when the value of the new column is updated - it forces the NULL values to be actually there. And even the guard column is a bitmap, marking whose columns are present here now.

  So... you did edit the table and added a few new columns with default values?

  Specify the color of cell required using the hidden column and a data attribute to the property Expression of HTML in the column:

  #VISIBLE_COLUMN_ALIAS#

  Apply a static ID of the visible column to serve as a selector, jQuery, and you can access the invisible color value in your JS code in dynamic action to run the JavaScript Code using the dataset property.

• IR searchable hidden columns?

  I wonder if anyone knows a way to make the hidden columns available? I wish I had a hidden column full of tags, but I don't want to see the.

  I tried to change the column type "Hidden" and it does not work I also tried to remove the column from the IR, but that no longer works.

  If your column is named CATEGORY, you can create a dynamic action triggered by "after update" report area.

  This dynamic action will run javascript:

  The hidden column can be referenced in a calculation or be used to sort the results, but not required by the user final report is visible.

  We have an implementation on a customer system 11. We had to hide some dimensions of the column in some of web forms. Every time that the clients connect and try to open these types of forms where there is the hidden column dimensions, process internet explore in the customer hits the use of 50% and never to open the form. More interesting still, process continues to run even if we stop planning and essbase servers. I tried the same on the two planning 11.1.1.1 and 11.1.1.2 and unfortunately the results are the same. I would be very surprised if I'm the only one facing this problem. Otherwise I have to miss a few essential adjustments to bring.

• Get rid of the column «iCloud download»

  Whenever iTunes (12.3.2.35) is started, the 'iCloud download' column is back.

  I do not use iCloud for songs, so I won't and I don't like Apple interfere with my way of organizing in iTunes.

  I am very new to the APEX and created an interactive report. I was to adjust manually using SQL column name in the Source of the region box and noticed one of my columns moved to the right of the report.

  When I unstapled "column_name" AS "column 1" disappeared from the column of the report.

  I cannot find any setting where it is specified as hidden, and when I click to filter the report via the Actions button, it appears under the section 'Other' under the section 'displayed '.

  Is there an easy way to display this column?

  After adding new columns or change the names of columns in an existing IR, you must select them for display as developer and Save the new report as the default main.

• Create snapshot for all columns in a tableview, including hidden columns

  I am trying to create a snapshot of a tableview. The table view has width fixed on the screen, but can have multiple columns. When a snapshot of the tableview is taken only the columns that are visible appear in the image and the remaining columns that are hidden and who must scroll by a scroll bar does not appear.   In this method, I pass a tableview as a node. the width of the tableview as setting width and height.

  This takes only the snapshot of the visible columns but not all columns. I also added the width of all columns and that past as the param for the width parameter, but no change.

  How to do this.

  1. Remove the TableView to its current stage.
  2. Create a new scene.
  3. Put the TableView in the new scene.
  4. Take a snapshot of the new scene.
  5. Replace the TableView in its original scene.

  Action-> download-> when you click the CSV, it will send a request like "CSV". Change the columns that you want to include in the output csv file. Go to the Condition section,

  Condition type: request is NOT contained in the Expression 1

  Expression1: CSV

  This column will not include in the csv file.

  Access more information that fits on a single line of the screen without using multiple fixed lines.
  
  Background:
  Classic report with 18 data elements (columns) visible. At the search box, and the user can choose the number of rows displayed.
  Some data elements can be long (20 to 30 characters) compared to the width of the screen. The element more right data risk of 100 characters.
  
  Proposed strategy:
  (1) display the n first characters of the item (s) long in the report.
  (2) display the entire item onMouseOver.
  
  Proposed approach:
  (1) for each column with the data of type long, contain the integer value in a hidden item.

  Well it took some time, and you really made me work for it. :)

  I added some old code, I had laying around. It adds a bubble that will stay for 5 seconds or until you click Next or move to another record.

  What I would do at this point, it is simply truncate the length of the Nm long to something short (with a substr). Use any indicator wished to hover. Like for example these glasses it's really up to you.

  You will see there is a PLSQL AJAX callback where you can retrieve and format the content of the pop-up window to everything you want. You can make it real.

  Here's what I did:

  4 changed the Nm of Long column to have a link with the onmouseover call that calls the new procedure ShowJob. I made the assumption that with the NUM parameter, you could go the full record of what you need.

  I noticed that whenever I update my SV grid, rows and columns, I've hidden and grouped become visible and groups are maximized ('+' ' becomes '-'). And what I have to do is go back and hide rows and columns and minimize the grouping. I have the "Use Excel formatting" option checked in Smartview. No idea how this can be fixed to keep my settings?

  We have a requirement defined by Oracle Corporate Security Architecture Review Board to prevent some columns to display when downloading interactive reports in csv format. They should appear on the report, but not on the csv output.
  
  I vaguely remember it was possible when interactive reports have been made public, but I can't find a way to do so at the ApEx 4.1? When I go to the print attributes > columns in the report, I can see the list of columns, and they all get to see the report = Yes, but there is no way to make it no. it seems that all the selected columns to display in the interactive report are automatically included in the download.
  
  Our applications are hosted on apex.oraclecorp.com, I can provide more details if necessary.
  
  Please inform if there is a way to exclude the columns during the download.

  Change the definition of column you want in the CSV file and add a conditional view:

  Condition of Type: Ask! = Expression 1
  Expression 1: CSV
