  This can be done using CSS. Create a rule like this in CSS Inline property page:

  .apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA td[headers="COLUMN_ALIAS"] {
    width: 10em;
  }
  

  where alias_de_colonne is the alias of the column in the report query and the width measurement, that's all you need.

• Referencing columns in an interactive report

  I need to bind an interactive interactive master report by their SUMMIT in a detailed report. Both reports have a common column name (PCN). To create a link from the main report to the detailed report, we must specify a 'name' in the "links" column for the column section in the main report.   Basically, you do it the right way.

  If you are sure that there is no column values that overlap, you can change the report detail something like query

  select . . .
  where (pcn = :p1_pcn
    or   sthn = :p1_pcn
    or   uic = :p1_pcn

• Remove the download interactive report HTML

  I have interactive reports where the link in the column on a specific column must be dynamic, which means, that it can not be hard coded in the column binding attributes. Here is an example of such a report query:

  As see you in the above example, the link in the "Object name" column could be redirect page 183 or on page 162, based on the column "Description of object Type.
  
  The column 'Object name' attribute has 'Type display"the value"Standard report column. This works perfectly well in the UI of the report. However, if I download the IR data (in any format) since the Actions-> download menu, the object name column values are downloaded with HTML characters such as:

  < href="f?p=15548:183:6072319179284::::P183_OBJECT_ID:255245470513999672860510787772603748464">JP010000</>

  where JP010000 is the name of the object.
  
  Is there a way I can strip the HTML code of the column values in the downloaded files?

  You can set the query link, make hidden, use the value in the link URL column. Thus, your query will look like the following:

  when d.object_type_description = 'Real Time Event' then

  Change the display type of the LINK column hidden. In the column link, enter #OBJECT_NAME # as the link text. Select the target URL. Enter #LINK # as the value of the URL. APEX 4.2, you can do this more easily by setting the HTML column Expression.

  Check your Application-> Page 2 30870. I've set up a dynamic action to reach the line highlighted when selected.

  Here are the steps to achieve the highlighted line:

  Someone know how to select a cell in an interactive report, based on the value of another cell in the same row and without this cell being shown?
  
  The integrated highlight feature IR does not seem to allow me to highlight a cell based on the value of another cell (correct me if I'm wrong).
  
  So I tried to go with a JavaScript solution, that I found in a thread somewhere on the forums of the APEX. I created a dynamic Action with this JavsScript code:

  and it works perfectly when the column is displayed, but not when it is hidden (which makes perfect sense).
  
  So this is where I am stuck. The report has a lot of info, and I don't want to have a useless column projected and using precious space.

  You can try the following:

  1. Add a column to your sql that contains the background for example color

  SELECT
  EmpNo,
  Ename,
  initialst,
  Decode(INTENSITE,1,'red','white') background_color
  Of
  EMP;

  2. in the new updated interactive report background_color column is hidden.

  3. Select the NOM_COMPLET_USAGER column and set the following parameters

  Link text = > #NOM_COMPLET_USAGER #.
  Link attributes = > style = "background-color: #BACKGROUND_COLOR; #
  Target = > URL
  URL = > #.

  Change the interactive report.

  Under report attributes... Select the paging tab, you will find number of Maximum lines TextBox... change of 10000 for all what you want to be maximum

  Go to the interactive report attributes and then scroll down to the link column. Select the link target custom column, specify the link image and then you can assign the value of a column in a row of the page item (you can use #EMPNO to assign the value of the P2_EMPNO element with empno #.) In the form of tables create a where clause clause with this item id to filter the selected records.

  We are on apex 3.1.2.00.02. I have two questions...
  
  1. the interactive reports have a - (dash) in the columns with a null value. So when we download to excel dashboard is always there... the user wants to null. I can't find where it is set to make this dashboard in the report. Can someone help me understand how to do what really null?
  
  2. When download us the report in csv format, it opens automatically in Excel (which we want); [the name of the tab in Excel is something like... csv] daily_bank_definition (1) if we try to rename the tab we get an Excel error on naming format invalid even if the new name is 'valid '. Is it possible to have the tabname set to what you want? Has anyone seen elsewhere this problem and have you been able to get around?

  Hi Kristina,

  To remove the indent of null columns you must go to the attributes of the report and under Pagination, you will see "display Null values as. Just remove the - from there.

  To change the tab name to what you want you will be first to save the csv file and remove the name of the [1]. Then, you should be able to change it.
