  How to display a hidden shortcut that is pinned to the Start Menu? This problem occurs very simply but does not quite simply. I've pinned a shortcut to the Start Menu before you uncheck the hidden attribute (knew I had) causing the shortcut to be recorded without being visible. When I tried to pin it again I was alerted to his presence by the fact that the second pinning made an extension of title (2).   In order to get the BB Messenger icon on your home screen (I guess from the main screen you mean the 6 icons at the bottom of the screen saver and not the home screen menu), follow these steps:

  (This is assuming you have the default menu locations).

  -From the standby screen, press the [MENU] key

  -Highlight the 'Instant Messaging' icon and click the trackball

  -Highlight 'Blackberry Messenger' and press the [MENU] key

  -Highlight 'Move To Folder', then click the trackball

  -Click the 'Home' folder (should be the first)

  -Press the [ESC] key

  -Put the "BlackBerry Messenger" icon (should be the last icon) and press [MENU]

  -Select 'Move' and use the trackball to move to one of the 6 icons in the row of icons on the home screen, then click the trackball

  -Press [ESC]

  Your BB Messenger icon should now appear as one of the 6 icons at the bottom of your screensaver, specific slot depending on where you put it in the top 6 at the home menu screen.

  Yes, it syncs contacts and calendar, if you do it with USB cable you need Desktop Manager, if you want wireless (Over The Air), you can use a work around like Google Sync, it syncs your contacts and calendar with your Google account.

  That this BB is new, I am very new to the service.

  Today, I could not Direct Connect OR hear anything when I made a call.

  The signal light at the top right of the Blackberry name was flashing red and sometimes flashes blue. Could not find anything in the BB guide then maybe it's a signal of Nextel.

  He stopped and everything seems to work fine as I write this, but I would like to know what causes the problem, and that means the red/blue flashing light. Our other nextel phone worked without problem, so I don't think it was a problem of Nextel system.

  Looks like you are describing the LED indicator.

  Red is a warning message

  Blue is Bluetooth

  Green is your coverage indicator

  Amber is low battery or charge

  You were probably in Bluetooth headset mode and could not hear it.
