Hidden photos

Vista, scanner HP4050...  I scanned 46 photos in a folder. When I open the file there is only a single photo... I used the number just as they featured. When I open in a viewer of there is a single picture, but if I double click on it, there are 46 pictures and I can see all of them one at a time!  But I can't find the individual photos so that I can treat them... Looked for hidden files...  They all have the same file name and number...

It's as if they are stacked or something.

Thanks for any help, Steve

It was a .tiff the way I solved it was to bring him to microsoft Document Imaging.  There, I could see all the photos you even think they had the same file name. I could then pull each photo in a new folder and rename it.

Do you have an idea that I was wrong to cause this?

  • iOS and Mac OS hidden pictures are not hidden

Is anyone else wondering why the function 'hide photo' cache of photos? you would think no hidden pictures would go into a hidden album itself is hidden, unless you unlock hidden photos and albums with a password or contact ID? What are the hidden photos that are not hidden? Hidden photos appear as suggested to share pictures in messages app or facebook! It's super annoying. I should be able to hide the photos and the hidden album itself the photos app and other applications as if they are not on the device at all!

The images in the Photos masking is supposed to remove from certain points of view. "Hidden" is not intended to make their "secret." To do this, you need to remove app Photos and store them elsewhere.

  • Can I take a picture that is not in my photos?

I use a lot my iPhone to work.  There are as many times I want to take a picture for the work I want not mixed in my normal photos.  Is it possible to do

You can move photos of work to the album "hidden pictures".  Then they will not show in the Moments and Collections. http://help.Apple.com/iPhone/9/#/iphf14943e

Hide the photos or videos you want to keep but not show. When displaying thumbnails, press Select, then select the photos or videos you want to hide. Press the button on the share, and then click Hide. The photos or videos are moved to the Hidden album.

You can create a new album 'Work' for your photo work. Hidden photos will show in albums, but not in the moments and collections.

  • My photos got mixed after upgrade to El Capitan

Yesterday, I downloaded pictures from my camera to my iMac.  They added automatically the photos I had taken on my iPhone (through the cloud) today, I upgraded to El Capitan, in order to take advantage of the improved editing capabilities.  Today, some of my uploaded photos are only in all the photos in the album section and disappeared into the photos section.   In addition, all photos in albums are all mixed and cannot be reordered by date (ie: old photographs are mixed in the pictures I just took) I took more than 1000 pictures on this recent trip.  I can't imagine having to go through both of these sections to understand which photos are in one folder but not the other.  I wanted to make an album for the trip, now I can't figure out how to get all my recent photos in there.  I tried to reload the camera, and they say they are already loaded.  Help, please.  Obviously, I'm a novice user; Sorry if this makes no sense.

Don't know what you see but

All pictures and Photos are just two different views of the same library and unless you have corruption library each photo in one is in the other--noting that you can hide the pictures in Photos but they show in pictures

To check hidden photos look in the album "hidden".

To find pictures in Photos (years/Collections/Moments), select one from all the Photos and do a right-click - Select 'Show in the times' and the pictures will open in moments - usually, you'll see why you do not find it once you see where the on - is open moments but your selected photo isn't not to repair your database - backup the library of Photos and press the command and option keys while launching Photos and repair the database (note this will trigger a new download of ICPL for check the database is correctly synchronized)

Albums of the user can be sorted by ascending or descending date or by title - right click on the selection of the album option

And notice that picture contains a bug (or perhaps poor design) and that photos taken in a zone schedule and imported in a time zone different get Wonky kinds of photos with time information GPS that is different from the time zone of the system - if it's what you report to Apple because they certainly face this and more reports faster solution is likely to appear - http://www.apple.com/feedback/photos.html

  • 'Photos' and 'pictures' do not contain the same number of photos.  What is going on?

My library 'photos' unless photos my album 'pictures' in it (11 308) (11 863).  -What happened?  I thought they were supposed to be 2 ways to display a single library.  I try, in vain, to organize the photos in a way that makes sense for my family (I frequently experience problems with apple products are not designed with multiple users in the same family spirit), and need to start with the entire collection of photos.  Clearly, "all photos" contains more photos, but according to the hierarchy, "all photos" should not be the top category.  I thought 'photos' and 'pictures' saw the same library in two ways (photo taken compared to what photo added to the library).  Thank you for your help.

    Several possibilities

hidden photos show in pictures but no pictures - you have pictures in your hidden folder?

a damaged library can cause this - you can repair the library (save the library and then press and hold the option and command launching photos - what causes a comparison of the library to rebuild to iCloud library is you use it)

Use the following steps to get to a photo that you've hidden:

    Exploration of the media

    1. in the media application, press the Menu key.
    2. click on explore.
    3. navigate to a folder that contains media files.
    5. press the Menu key.
    6. click on Show Hidden.

Once hidden photos are displayed, scroll to them and go to properties and change the hidden value.

I think a better way to do this would be to put all the pictures you do not want seen in a folder by themselves and then go to Media options and deselect this folder to be seen.

    Good luck!

  • iCloud and Sync iPhoto

    Hi all

I am now running the latest iOS and OS for a Mac and an iPhone 6. I wanted to get my photos in the cloud, and it took a few days (which is fine). I have about 3 000 photos.

My question and the problem lies in the synchronization domain. There is probably a difference in number of 300 photo between the Mac and the iPhone. Why? I thought the point was that they moved as one?

In addition, it makes my crazy OCD.

We can not see you if you have details

What version of the operating system and Photos? What are your iCloud on the Mac and every IOS device settings?

In general you can not pictures of 'Move' to iCloud - if you use iCloud photo library, it's a synchronization service and all changes made on any device (additions, deletions, or modifications) will be made on all devices - with ICPL on devices with limited memory you use optimized photos

With respect to the counts, need us specifics as to what you see and where you see it - and what is the status of each device

Until that all downloads are completed no download occur and charges are presented differently in different places - some number of total elements and some Photos, items and videos separately present demanding add numbers

and the view of the Photos you the County excludes hidden photos and in all the pictures, it includes hidden photos

  • How to hide a folder?

I used to hide certain folders on iPhotos! Is this possible in Photos?

In the Photos, you can only hide photos from view of Photos. But the hidden photos will show has all the albums.  Hiding in the pictures supposedly is able to reduce the amount of photos in moments of collection, because they are created automatically, but it will not keep your secret private photos.

If you want to hide the pictures, so they will not accidentally appear in a slideshow, move them to another library of Photos.

How can I put pictures in the most recent at the top of the screen while I scroll more recent instead of to the top?

The album "All Photos" can only be sorted by date, oldest first.

But you can create your own album of all the Photos in a smart album, which keeps all the photoss. A custom Smarta album can be sorted in descending order, most recent photos first.

My album ' my photo all the "custom is defined as: a rule 'Date is after', with a date range beginning well before the oldest photo in the library, then everything will be included, and I added a"Photo is not hidden,"so hidden photos will be excluded.

To sort descending album ctrl-click in the sidebar and value 'out' 'Keep sorted by date, most recent first':
