  You can't really change the off box catalogue request form, but you can use ASD to request an action plan and so create your own front end form to request a catalog item. I have attached a sample I made and some workflows that tell you how to proceed. It's more complicated, but it's the only way to do what you want.

  We have just received a chassis NI SMU-1073 with an SMU-6361 OR switched in PXI1Slot2 and a shielded connector BNC-2111. Aims to trigger two output signals to control a laser and a sound via Matlab Application.

  Version of Matlab is 8.2.0.701 (R2013b) and data acquisition toolbox is 3.4. Installed is the 9.8.0 driver NOR-DAQmx. We followed the example of the tutorial on the web page of Matlab to generate output. The code establishes a connection with a device, it creates a session and adds an output channel. Once this is done, the session is started in the foreground, but it fails with the following error massage:

  Based on some forums, we checked the route tab of device in Explorer automation and PXI_CLK10 signal is almost yellow everywhere. Looks like he expects, as a reference, the PXI_CLK10 clock, but there is no direct route to it. On the other hand, there are PXIe_CLK100 that is green.

  Question is how through Matlab interface based session one can set the reference clock signal? Or y at - it another way to solve this error? Maybe another type of configuration is necessary?

  By default, the value of the CLAIM is reset before show page processing begins. To apply a value available in the page see the transformation, it must be defined in the URL of the page when a request or redirect or specified in the property of the request of an industry.   0 and 1 are just examples. If you have set up things like A = APPROVED and N = NEW you would have your status code look! = « A »... You need to just check for everything that is the return value.

  I am trying to simulate a signal digital 72Hz to an external circuit. Attached below is the pattern that I use. I had to initially waveform graph to view the signal, but data types are different, so I ended up using a waveform digital chart vi. Once I run the simulation, nothing in the graph. Help, please. I use a hardware DAQ USB 6001.

  BTW, I tried to create a task in the DAQ Assistant, but succeeds only when the acquisition mode has been set to 1 sample (on request). When you do what I wanted, which was a continuous sampling, an error has occurred.

  I'm trying to run a similar trigger (falling edge) on a BNC2120 escape connected to a module PXI3-6361 (device X-series). What I read in the Installation guide for 2120 (pg 8), I should be able to use PFI 0/P1.0 (which I think is the BNC connector on the corner of high right out of the box) with DAQmx start analog Edge. Curiously, Labview does not provide a drop-down menu to select an appropriate trigger source, then for this option, I typed in the trigger source "PXI1Slot2/port0/line1. When I do that, I get an error:

  Error-200265 occurred at DAQmx start Task.vi:3
  Possible reasons:
  Attempted to use an invalid trigger analog source.
  Ensure that the source of command, you specify is the name of the virtual channel in the task or is the name of a non readable terminal that the device can use as a source of analog control.

  I tried to use DAQmx Create Channel to accelerometer and yet it responds with error (see below). When I use max OR to measure the accelerometer (I-acceleration-accelerometer), there is no error, and I see that acceloremeter works.

  OR PXI-1042 and I use OR-4462 card to measure vibration vith acceloremeter.

  I'm not sure why the accelerometer mode does not work, but it works very well in normal mode - it maybe has to do with the accelerometer, you?  Whatever it is, if it works with the voltage mode, I am happy that we found a way to make it work.  Is this an acceptable work around you?

• How to make a simultaneous wink of GigE cameras?

  I have 2 cameras of 780-54gm Basler Scout (monochrome GigE) I switch to 10 Hz. This pace is modest and the data rate that results is not particularly high. I would like to get images from two cameras of the same trigger pulse. I have an Intel Pro/1000 NIC and I use the driver NEITHER appears so as National Instruments GigE Vision adapter. When I use the Basler pylon Viewer (the software that comes with the camera), I see perfect images from two cameras at the same time at 10 Hz. This tells me that the network, map NETWORK and the drivers can handle the flow of data without problem. I have activated jumbo frames. When I try to acquire images in LabVIEW 8.6 with screws IMAQdx, however, that I meet problems. I can acquire every single camera, but I can't them both at the same time strictly. The images are taken through with horizontal black lines that appear and move erratically. I have attached a vi that shows the problem. I have set up and start the two acquisitions, then enter a while loop that reads images. If I do the sequential acquisition by starting and stop them inside the loop and ensuring that we stop before the other then I get quality images but they are not the same impulses to trigger, and start and stop of the acuisitions overload slows down things so that I can not get pictures of each trigger. My guess is that it is a problem with how LabVIEW is the memory management, resulting in corruption with simultaneous acquisition. Are there settings I can change to fix this problem? I've experimented with everything I knew (buffer numbers, etc.), but without success. Rich P.S. I posted this in the forum LabView a couple of days but got no response. Sorry if you see this twice.

  Looks like you just packet loss. You might associate a property node to request lost packages to confirm. The reason for that happening is that even if the way to two cameras data rate is less than the limit of the NETWORK card, each camera probably goes to the complete 1000Mbit bandwidth when it transfers each picture. When transfers of images overlap, sending you to 2000Mbit/s down a 1000Mbit pipe and lose packets.

  To resolve this issue, an easy way is to adjust the attributes of Acquisition-> Ethernet advanced-> attribute peak bandwidth used for both cameras 500Mbit. This should ensure that each camera never use more than half of the bandwidth. There are also other options such as sprawl of transfer times, but those who require more tuning you change other settings.

  I don't know why the Basler software shows this, although their lack of bandwidth might just be lower at the expense of additional latency to get the images.

• Stuck in the error-200279

  My program involves several DAQ tasks that run in unison, as in the example of "Multi-multifunction-Synch I-AO. Works very good in general, but if anything it either never interrupts the flow of the program, I'm stuck permanently with the error 200279. Here is the precise relationship:

  Error 200279 occurred at DAQmx Read (analog 1-d Wfm NChan NSamp) .vi:1

  Possible reasons:

  Attempted to read samples that are no longer available. The requested sample was already available, but has since been replaced.

  Increase in the size of buffer, most frequently the reading of data or by specifying a fixed number of samples to read instead of reading all available samples would correct the problem.

  Property: Offset

  Task name: input analog

  And once I am in that State, the only way I can find out is to kill and restart all my tasks. There must be a better way? How to resync the computer firm asking former samples and welcomes those who are there NOW?

  Here are a couple of reliable means to bring about this problem: 1. reach a breakpoint during debugging. It's very frustrating when you can't use a breakpoint without destroying the same operation you are trying to debug. 2. the user presses a button that opens a file dialog box. Even though my main program consists of several parallel loops, and the dialog file is called from a DIFFERENT LOOP that makes the acquisition of data. It's a problem anyway. How can I make a file dialog box without stopping my stream of data acquisition along the way?

  Help much appreciated. This problem stop my program to be the work of industrial power that needs my scientific users.

  Ken,

  You can specify DAQmx what samples in the buffer to read.  By default, DAQmx will read the 'current reading position.  What you see is that the data not read from "current playback position" got too written with new data.  Basically the data that was in the 'current reading position"no longer exist, and try to read from that location you causes the error you see.  DAQmx does not specify where it reads data since.  You can use the property Read DAQmx node to specify what DAQmx reads Relative to, but also a shift here in the buffer.  It is possible that if you detect this error, you can read from 'most recent sample' for a reading.  This would throw essentially all of the data in the buffer between the "current playback position" and the most recent sample in the buffer, but would allow your application to continue, as it is equipped to address the shortcomings in the data.

  I want to acquire a signal from a controller of the machine and save the data in a PDM file. In order to develop this application, I created a simulated task. Everything is going well so far, except the start of data acquisition. I want the application to start recording of the data when the signal passes a specific value and stop it when the signal is lower then the value, is obtaining current data which records data only when it is higher then the set limit.

  I already tried to use the DAQmx Trigger Vi but I always get the following error message when I use it.

  I also read a lot of different posts on this topic, but I'm still not able to get it going.

  Using HD Tach by Simpli software in my netbook - falls behind the task bar and several other windows application also.

  The only way to solve the problem was to use a resolution of 1024 x 768 or 1154 x 864 and increase police to 109% or more but the police is still too small

  The netbook uses several functions scroll to top and bottom and left and right - some windows have them, some can be resized by dragging them, some can not be resized - HD Tach by Simpli software may not be resized by dragging on it.

  There are commands to add to the registry in order to keep the windows above the bar of task or easier to manage?

  I can't find a good quality / 800 x 600 or 1024 x 600, but I can find a way for them to adapt at 1024 x 768 - after regedit - I started per, highlight, press the HKEY CURRENT USER and used find (ctrl + F) then find with LogPixels then get to HKEY CURRENT USER\Control Panel\Desktop - LogPixels - find my best fit - I started to... '60' (96) - right-click on LogPixels and click on edit - add "6 d" - next to him his (109) - this is the maximum I can go before he goes out at new size - whatever the HKEY CURRENT USER\Control Panel\Desktop value - LogPixels is - HKEY USERS\...\Control Panel\Desktop.  The LogPixels next time it will be the last one - CONFIG\Software\Fonts HKEY CURRENT - modified LogPixels value in...   HKEY CURRENT CONFIG\Software\Font - LogPixels - controls the size of the logon screen - "Police and image' - as many more police is - make sure what my limit was 87 (135) or 99 (153) 9f (159) - my limit. I found a problem with 100 (256) its too large a gap - too many.

  If I use 1154 x 864 HKEY CURRENT USER\Control Panel\Desktop - LogPixels will be... "87" (135), it perhaps gives me the best font size - most every thing is bigger - compared to 1024 x 768

  HKEY CURRENT CONFIG\Software\Fonts - LogPixels is therefore 87 (135) to 99 (153) also 9f (159)

  Hello, thank you for your interest. I found a very simple solution eventually. Apparently, it works if I create a simple vector rather than an array, ksoap send exactly what you need I guess.

  Create a vector

  Vector myVec = new Vector();
  for (int i = 0; i)< anarray.length;="" i++)="">
  myVec.addElement (anArray [i]);
  }

  and set the property to

  request.addProperty ("objectName", myVec);

• Question of SSDP M-SEARCH on Windows 7

  I have problems with SSDP M-SEARCH messages.
  I have a client of discovery of device running on Windows 7 (laptop) computer and I send multicast message (M-SEARCH) on 239.255.255.250:1900 for a kind of discovery.
  Everything works fine, as in my messages is received by the interested units (where I have a server running) and I can enumerate devices based on the responses I get servers.
  But, at the moment where I have activate the WiFi on my laptop, things go wrong.
  I don't see any of my messages SSDP M-SEARCH (I'm capture using WireShark), but I see a lot of SSDP (for 3 seconds) messages with a different value of ST (ST:urn:schemas - upnp - org:device:InternetGatewayDevice:1\r\n) Windows (some other app specific WiFi I guess)
  And these SSDP messages completely block/hide message SSDP sending my request of customer.
  I tried a lot of things to work around this problem, but the WiFi activation stops my client App works because my SSDP multicast messages are never sent.
  Is it possible to understand what is happening and how to fix it?
