  Data controls panel displays all the Modules of the Application in the form of data controls. We have a root Application Module and all others are nested in the Am so we need to make sure that we use only the root'M not other AM directly.
  
  Is there a way we can hide all data except the root Am controls. If its non-bc4j control data then we can control via DataControls.dcx but to BC4J AM how can hide us?

  General response: the 'formal library' is related to the 'data masking Pack' and it is the repository of the masks of format that have been defined. These masks can then be applied when you use the masking of data, sensitive, mask data.

  To the original poster: as I understand it, "Column of the Table" option indicates that the source of the data mask will be rather than, say, a function that generates a column of table data.

  I have data stored in the tables of my base. I need to create a flatfile and send these data to the other Dept. But there are some important data like credit card, first name and last name must be masked when sending outbound flat file.
  
  What I use dbms_crypto for this or other simple methods are there for a time hiding?
  If I use dbms_crypto and if I have a column x varchar2 (100), will I get similarly data length varchar2 (100) after masking?

  I would like one graph to view the input data and modified by one of the two cases of different event structure.  So if the event 1 is selected by the user, the data would be entered by the code contained in 1 case and then introduced in a waveform to display chart.  If the event case 2 is selected, similar data would enter the 2 cases but then displayed by the same graphic waveform , as in case 1.  I don't know if there is a way to do this... it seems that each case of the event would need its own array of waveform, but it becomes quickly heavy regarding the graphical interface for the multiple cases of event.

  I think you want to show/hide a table that if its conditions of licence exists and have some value. You can have an if condition including the table.

However, I checked the version 11.1.1.6.0,11.1.1.6.4 there is no feature in the data model to hide the button apply as shown in the figure below. Is available in 11.1.1.7.0 latest version only?

  I think that is in with settings in the "Apply" button. You do not have the ablility to show the button apply or not. You can set it in the display options settings page-> show the button apply.

  I work with the version of Oracle Business Intelligence 11.1.1.6.7 and I am able to set this property.
