Hide the image behind a text layer before revealing?

I am doing a project of kinetic typography together to a certain song.

At some point, I want two words with the movement of the simple text and once that these two words are in place, I would like to display an image to rise behind them to be above them (not in standard sapce but 2D 3d).  Because the text is transparent, you can see the image behind the text before the image is set to move.

I tried to create a mask around the picture that hides out, but when I move the image upwards the mask moves with the image, which maintains the hidden image.  I thought that maybe it would take an object null with a mask, but I can't see to make it work.  I think this should be easy, but I don't have the skills to pick up the pieces... any ideas.

If it still makes sense?

Thank you

Rich

Simple: make a rectangular shape (probably), layer shape and use it as a track matte for the layer in question.  You have the choice between either animating the cache by approach, or out of it... It all depends on if you are using an Alpha or Alpha reverse mast.

And the layer in question, obviously, must be below the track matte layer in the timeline panel.

    Hi Tanuj.

    I actually understand it. Not the best user friendly system. Where as before (CS5), I just had to go to crop tool and choose the dimensions and the inches now it in the window. Just really complicated for nothing.

    Thanks anyway Tanuj

  • How to hide the image displays for lightbox

    With the help of DW, I have a screen of lightbox.  Here is the page:

    Example page

    As you will see, if you click on the photo, it opens on a viewer.  My colleague wants to have 10 pictures to open in the light therapy device, but they don't want all these photos to have thumbnails on the page.  In other words, they want a single photo, you click on it and then see all 10 in the lightbox.

    If I put all the code img for all 10 images on the page then all 10 images will be also visible on the page.  So I need to somehow 'hide' the images so that the small version of the photos do not appear on the page but will be displayed in the lightbox.

    Sorry if that sounds confusing and I hope someone can help.  Thank you.

    I've never seen either as it already existed on the site, and I discovered it actually just.

    Here's another example

    When you get to the above, click on the turtle and you see how many photos are in the lightbox.  Then close the light box and scroll down and click on those + symbols.  See the other images in the other sections?  Somehow the code takes these pictures in the album too.

    I want to do the same thing, but the key is there is no + symbols on the page - just picture a turtle and when you click on the turtle, all other photos appear in the box to light.  Another thing I think to do is to have picture of a turtle and then 10 1 pixel by invisible image of 1 pixel down at the bottom of the page and then have 10 of them, and then the ref h for each are the larger photos - in this way, when you click on the turtle, the code will pull large pictures of the 1 X 1 in the light box.

    Well it would be pretty easy to do as 'By' suggested in the previous post and hide "thumbnails" you do not want on the page:

    Create a rule in your css - something like:

    .hide_thumbs {display: none ;}}

    So in general a set of images of the light box might look like the code below. (when you click them they open in a lightbox and this lightbox usually has an option to display the other pictures in this particular Gallery by clicking through them, rather than by clicking on them individually).

    turtle

    whale

    Dolphin

    Tunna

    If you add a class = "hide_thumbs" ones you don't want to show get the display: none; property, BUT they must remain available in the lightbox click through.

    How to do an image have several clickable camp arrives with a box next to the image with a text. as I click on a bone in an image a box comes up next to the image with which are the OS. I have cs6

    This article has very clear steps & description of what you're trying to accomplish:

    http://Demosthenes.info/blog/537/enhancing-Imagemaps-with-CSS3-popups#wheelset

  • Show/hide the image with audio (audio does not if necessary)

    Then, I ran some tests to see what was going on so I could better explain my problem.

    I have a slide with a picture that has four clickable areas. First of all, the student listen tell me for a few seconds and then is invited to click on the image areas that are highlighted.

    When the user clicks on one of the fields, an image appears and I taped audio on this 'object '. Note: I didn't use the slidelets substitution as the clickable area is hidden by the new image when the image appears on a click. The user will press a close button that is on the image, set with another clickable button to hide the image then select another pop up box. (See image below... you can see the image of forklift under the transparent image gray... This is where the user clicks the highlighted area).

    Capture.PNG

    I tried two ways:

    having the image plays on the whole timeline from beginning to end of blade (be hidden with the show/hide button function)... when I do it, the sound will not play at all (I'm guessing that this is because the audio went silently on the first few seconds of being on the screen, so by the time the student clicked the button finished audio).

    and

    Drag the beginning of the image to close the timeline when the user is asked to click on areas of the screen... when I do that, the sound play a bit, but gets cut off after a few seconds.

    If I click on the areas as soon as the blade begins to play (since i KNOW where the buttons will be activated), the audio plays very well which makes me believe my theory that the audio runs just at the moment where the user gets to click on it.

    There is no break on one of the buttons around this period, so I know this isn't that.

    What I am doing wrong?

    Thank you! :-)

    I'm happy to say after hours of frustration, I finally got to work.

    I went and read your blog Lieve on micro navigation and managed to keep the images at the point of the slide where the user is asked to click on them and define the action of tip:

    to display the image,

    hide the other images and

    Use the assign with 705 rdcmdgotoframe

    and added a line to continue so it wouldn't break (if I do this, it seemed only allows only not the last his image clicked / or show the function works because I have an action secondard on the second tab to display the button 'next' once all are clicked).

    I had to do the math, but thanks to your info on your blog, I was able to understand this. I just tested it and it works... so I'm not going to save and close and breathe until Monday when I can run my final tests on the entire project!

    Thank you!!

  • Is there a way to hide the image of user account on the windows login screen?

    I am trying to find a way to hide the user account picture, because it does not match the custom wallpaper that I've put on to the login screen.

    We can change the image to something less offensive (even an empty frame - the procedure of which is in this article:http://smallvoid.com/article/vista-welcome-screen.html), but they cannot be removed entirely.  If you want the Welcome screen, you will have to live with the icons.

    Sorry, but this option is being Setup.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Automation of the creation of a text layer for a user to manually add the text.

    Hello

    I wonder if someone can help me here?

    What I want to do is to write a script that creates a text layer, stops, and then prompts the user to add their text, then save the file.

    So far, I have this:

    app.activeDocument = docRef

    textColor = new SolidColor

    textColor.rgb.red = 255

    textColor.rgb.green = 255

    textColor.rgb.blue = 255

    helloWorldText = "Hello, World!"

    newTextLayer = docRef.artLayers.add)

    newTextLayer.kind = LayerKind.TEXT

    newTextLayer.textItem.contents = helloWorldText

    newTextLayer.textItem.position = Array (0.75, 1)

    newTextLayer.textItem.size = 36

    newTextLayer.textItem.color = textColor

    Obviously this script adds just whatever text is in the helloWorldText line.

    As I say I would like that the script stops, prompt the user to add their text, be approved, then fill the script.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Simon

    Hello

    Try this...

    var docRef = app.activeDocument
    textColor = new SolidColor
    textColor.rgb.red = 255
    textColor.rgb.green = 255
    textColor.rgb.blue = 255
    var userText = prompt ("Please enter your message here.","");
    if(userText!=""){
        newTextLayer = docRef.artLayers.add()
        newTextLayer.kind = LayerKind.TEXT
        newTextLayer.textItem.contents = userText
        newTextLayer.textItem.position = Array(0.75, 1)
        newTextLayer.textItem.size = 36
        newTextLayer.textItem.color = textColor
    }

  • CSS for the images in thumbnails & text entries?

    Hello! I'm trying to insert an image flyer photo (as you would get as a profile on Instagram/Whatsapp etc.) inside a miniature.

    When I insert a thumbnail of Bootstrap components, it has a pre-designed layout. Can I change that to position the image on the left of the heading and the text in the thumbnail?

    Maybe I'll have to import a circular image, when I changed the image of 'Circle' in class menu just to become an oval that fits inside the margins of the tile.

    Inside of a form, I entered for name/email etc. Can I change the size or appearance of these? They appear only as a white box, and I don't see any way to change

    Because at the end of these entries, I have a text box for 'Comments', even if I changed the number of lines and columns it still doesn't seem right because I can't match

    the size at the entrances to the label.

    Finally, I can do links to Facebook/Twitter page with the help of you guys, but how to add the function to 'Share' for my Web pages?

    Thank you

    Too many questions.  Please limit publishes on a topic.

    Image bootstrap classes:

    img-circle for circles, your image must have files = height and width, otherwise you get ovals.

    IMG thumbnail includes the margins, padding and borders by default.

    Thumbnails "bootstrap" do not provide for legends of images without additional code.

  • Problems placing the image in underlined text

    Hi all

    I am trying to place an image in a text described in ID CC, but it will only put in one line, instead of the whole lot. for example. my text reads as follows:

    STUDENT
    PRICE

    2014

    but I can't just put the image in one line at a time, for example. "STUDENT".

    I also tried to copy the picture and paste it in, but once it only let me do this for a single line of text.

    Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

    Thank you very much!

    Select all of your highlighted text and choose object > tracks > make a compound path...

    Now try to place the image.

    Hello...

    Please take a look at this picture and tell me what is the problem?

    the menu turns off when I select a text layer for a justification to do about! but when I select another layer it seems!

    How can I use it when the text layer is selected?

    As I said, you must use the paragraph type you want to use the justification options, no pointer type. And no, this isn't how the paragraph Panel should look like.

    In the documentation, I see that TextItem has a width property, but which is available for the text that encapsulates it.

    Is there a way to get the width of the text?

    Read-write. The width of the bounding box for
    the text of the paragraph.
    Only valid when type = TextType.PARAGRAPHTEXT

    This should crop the text.

    NB the text layer must be selected.

    var doc= activeDocument;
    var LB = doc.activeLayer.bounds;
    //This will crop to text size
    //doc.crop(activeDocument.activeLayer.bounds);
    activeDocument.crop([LB[0],0,LB[2],doc.height.value]);
