History of the calendar to blackBerry Smartphones don't keep forever, only 800 appointments

I want to keep my appointments in the calendar on my Blackberry calendar indefinitely.  I have this option in Outlook (916 go to this day) and on my 8320 where there is an option to select the story in a few days (in increments of 15 up to 90), or forever.  I chose to always.  However, when I sync with Outlook via Desktop Manager 4.7 v, my Blackberry wants to delete all appointments beyond a certain number of 800 in Outlook.  Is there a way around this, or are 800 appointments actually Blackberry interpretation of "Forever".

Sorry I can't be of any additional assistance but I had the same problem and almost gave up on the BB to come back from the Ipaq, but I persevered and everything came out good, now I'll stay with the BB.

There may be someone else who can provide you with more details there.

When you accept a solution of any could you please select the appropriate box.

  • Latency for the calendar to blackBerry Smartphones

I use the calendar app that came on the phone.  It takes SO much time opened the program, and then an another long wait until I can scroll to a date, or to add an appointment.  All other applications are very good.

Does anyone else have this problem?  Is there a solution?

I found a work around on the set of Crackberry.  It seems that this only happens to those of us who use the calendar view.  If you open the calendar, click options, click Calendar view and action, check "Show free time to the agenda" it solves the problem.

Now the problem is I want to show the time, but that's another issue!

    Hello bestfriends,.

I think you need to go into your DM and click on synchronize > then configure and reconfigure the way you sync between your device and Outlook.

    I hope this is useful,

    Hi all.

I got connected to level 3 of my email IMAP for the Blackberry Internet Service accounts and everything works fine with the sending and receiving of emails.  My question is whether it is possible to force a download to my Blackberry to all the old emails in my accounts.  For the moment all I see are the emails received from confugirng accounts.

    See you soon

You can not download emails before setting up the account of the use of the BIS service.

  • The calendar entries blackBerry Smartphones duplicate on handheld

I have a new Curve 8310.  After making a few synchs after making additions/changes to my Outlook calendar, all my calendar entries duplicated on your handheld.  One of the duplicates can be deleted, but then he removes the entry of my calendar Outlook the next time that I run a synchronization.  The other duplicate entry says that it cannot be deleted because it was "externally deleted."  How can I solve this?

Easy fix would be to clean your pocket computer then re-sync again. Backup of your handheld before wiping the device just to be safe. To wipe the handheld go to Options > Security Options > General settings. Press the menu button and select wipe Handheld.

  • The calendar of blackBerry Smartphones

Hi all. Is it possible for the days current activity calendar to display automatically on the screen in the same way as a Nokia? I find a nuisance to constantly keep open calendar to see what's happening the day nor the hour. There must be a way to display a calendar open on the home screen.

    Thank you

Yes, you need a new theme on your 8900 theme type "today." This kind of theme will display your next several events calendar on the home screen...

Look here for some for the 8900

    1. you probably have "Content Protection" located on your address book.
Look at the Options > Security > General settings. Scroll down to the content Protection > include addresses = no
    * If you don't see it here, your device operating system handles this differently. Look at the Options > Security > encryption.

    2. go to Options on your device > Security Options > encryption > include contacts the value 'No '.

  • The Webkit browser blackBerry smartphones - don't click on phone numbers! ???

Seriously! Looks like such a basic feature that existed even on my old blackberry. I can't click on the phone from the browser numbers to make a call. Is this true or am I missing something here. Frustrated by the lack of functionality. Thinking to take this phone and wait for a better of Sprint Android phone. This does not seem like the rest of an upgrade from the curve.

Thanks for your sharing. I think you're right. It seems very useful

  • BlackBerry Smartphones using the calendar/Agenda when you don't have a data plan.

Hi all, I just got a BB Curve 9320 model to replace my LG dead.  I use the phone for my convenience only but I fondly I remember my old Palm Pilot and it's wonderful calendar application that allows me to keep track of my life and where I was supposed to be and when.  I had hoped that the curve would be able to do the same thing with its calendar function.  I thought that using the BB desktop and connect my laptop to enable them to communicate that I would have the same function, like the Palm Pilot has made in my previous life of the curve.  Unfortunately, I have not been able to get it to operate than I had imagined... I do something bad or without the data plan is - it simply not possible?

Hello and welcome to the community!

What is wrong is your waiting... what you expect is not a feature designed... a few things to discuss... so bear with me...

Unlike other how things, RIM does not provide a desktop PIM. Others force you to use their PIM and only their PIM. RIM provides a driving software that works as a bridge between your PIM and the BB. See this compatible PIM KB:

    • KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager to synchronize

So, to do what you want requires the use of a desktop PIM for your data... Choose a compatible PIM (from above). Then, enter your data in the PIM Office. Next, configure the BB to sync with the PIM:

  • Synchronization of calendar to blackBerry Smartphones. first of all to synchronize all elements, then the date range, then all the items; all previous deleted items

I work IT at my company.  My colleague got a blackberry storm.  We hung up and synced Outlook 2007 for the Blackberry.  Everything went correctly.

Initially, we had the synchronization schedule "all items". But after watching the parameters, we decided to only synchronize a range of dates.  We sync'd, but we didn't know that the blackberry removes anything outside the range of dates.  Rather than just update everything that falls in the range of dates.

For us he returned to "all items".  The Blackberry now tells Outlook to delete all the entries outside the range of dates.

HELP I'M SCREWED!  My colleague schedule is all messed up.  Can recover it software Blackberry, all these deleted items?

Or should I go to my backup and recover all its information?  I can do it, but that requires a lot more work.

If there is another position that helps out, please please direct me to it.  I'll keep looking...

    Scott

Well.  It becomes a problem. But first my solution:

I went to a backup and restore of the mailbox.  Appointments in the calendar have been copied in the calendar and sync whalla, it's done.

If this topic is made, however the problem is not.  The storm Blackebery was still deleting old appointments.  Then I learned about '' go go = Forever. ''

    We'll see how it goes.

  • Notifications of calendar to blackBerry Smartphones turn on the phone

I searched for the answer and can't find it.  I have a Blackberry 8330 and love it.  If the phone is turned off and I have a notification callback to the calendar (for a meeting), it will turn the phone back on.  It's very irritating in a film or in a plane - when your phone is turned off. I know how to go in the profile and advanced and make changes.  However, under calendar, it doesn't give me that les options options 'ring', 'volume', 'number of beeps', 'repeat notification' to remove the flashing LED or "number of vibrations."   Help, please.  He's on the phone to my husband too.

Is this a feature of the phone or carrier?  I have Sprint as a carrier.  One of my friends has Verizon and its not done.

IT IS EVERYTHING!  I have my "auto on / off", set up on my phone.  If I don't get this option when I turn off the phone with the key.  But if I'm going to "turn off the power" on the screen, it gives me this opportunity.  And it works, it keeps the phone off.

    Thank you very much!!!

  • Calendar and contacts from blackBerry Smartphones don't synchronize with outlook 2013 (win8) - in collaboration with IPhone and Ipad air 5s

    Hi all

I just moved to a new PC (ex: Sony Vaio with win 7 pro, outlook 10 pro > new: duo of vaio from sony with win 8, Outlook 13 home office 365). I used to sync outlook contacts and calendars with blackberry and iphone and ipad on my old laptop using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

Now with my new PC, iphone and ipad are always works well and they synchronize with outlook: new entries on the outlook calendar and new contacts are added to my laptop and vice versa, but when I connect my Blackberry "BOLD" I n get the updates.

I confirm that I use the latest version of the desktop manager 7.0.

My organizing Office Manager is configured to sync both calendar and contacts

    Any idea please?

  • Events calendar for the refreshment of blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

    Please, try the following

Remove the battery while the device is activated, replace after one minute,

Let the device reboot 1-3 min, retry the function that was the problem

    Please let me know!

    Thank you

  • BROWSER blackBerry smartphones don't DO NOT WORK

This is getting quite frustrating. I get that cannot connect to the server, please try again error and it takes forever to get even the google home page to load. What should I do?

OK thanks... you came very close to what I need... except just saying 'mistake' in regard to music downloads... but, any...

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you need to get in touch with your service provider and insist that they honor the formal support that they are contractually required to provide you with. Do not let you fob before having 100% solved the situation. If they tell you to contact RIM, don't let them not on the hook, then either... insist that they tell you exactly how you should contact RIM. If they say anything OTHER that they will increase you rim (for example, if they tell you to independently seek the support of the RIM), and then accept it. Only through an escalation of your service provider can you receive all official support from RIM.

Looks like they have made significant changes to their network... and they must ensure that their paying customers will continue to receive the services that they pay.

    Good luck!
