  I use WL10.3 in a Linux machine.
  
  I have an environment where I have one WL server in a domain which is deployed with the web application
  
  And I have another area where I have two managed servers in a cluster that is deployed with the company.
  
  Now, I want to configure Apache HTTP server to make it work as a proxy with the weblogic.
  
  In my current scenario, the proxies of one seed server req in the cluster and that is defined in a jndi.properties.
  
  Now, what should I do if I want to use the Apache
  
  I have the following questions:
  
  1 forget my env, generally how to install and configure Apache HTTP plugin?
  I see that we have already seen libproxy_61.so file in /bea/wlserver_10.3/server/plugin/linux/i686
  
  Do I need to install the patch even then as said in http://www.oracle.com/technology/deploy/security/wls-security/2793.html?
  
  2. While am adding the lines in the httpd.conf file.
  LoadModule modules/mod_wl_22.so weblogic_module
  
  If I put ibproxy_61.so instead of mod_wl_22.so in this line?
  
  3. While configuring the proxy server, balancing and session replication will be assured?
  
  4. and for my setup, as stated at the beginning, a few lines, which may be the best architecture?

  1 so all external requests go to the single domain server with MoreWeb app. In this scenario, you don't need any additional Proxy Apache server. Because the basic concept of the Apache Web server is to route multiple applications on a cluster of managed servers. In your case, it is a single server, you don't need any additional Web front server. Now you have these EJB on another area that is clustered. I guess you use search standard JNDI to access the EJB. So, how do you make sure that only MoreWeb app requests are load balanced to the EJB. As each subsidiary request for EJB must go to MS1 and MS2 as robin in default mode. First request to MoreWeb need access EJB of MS1. Second request for MoreWeb need access EJB MS2 etc. This means in theory, you should have an Apache Web Server before the second area something like that. You have any servlet default weblogic cluster already deployed to the second area. Otherwise use that or care of apache in etc. Then in MoreWeb App when you search the EJB, make sure that you give the address Cluster and the direct port instead of the host/port MS1 or MS2. This Web server should in turn make the round robin for EJB on second domain clustered. When you get the InitialContext object instead of using empty default constructor as new InitalContext(), you may need to use something like InitalContext (aMap) new aMap corresponding to a hash table with the properties for the provider url, etc. etc. You can see the docs for more details.   You need to reinstall... BTW, it's not a big ask reinstall... Just make sure that you back up and restore applications and conf file.

  I had installed oracle 11 GR 2 on my desktop
  
  I executed the following command to use XML HTTP Server
  
  exec dbms_xdb.sethttpport (8080);
  
  When I do
  
  Select dbms_xdb.gethttpport (double);
  
  I see that the port is configured but the server homepage doesnot open when I do
  
  http://localhost: 8080
  
  I get a page cannot be the error message is displayed. I tried to install a new instance of the database and received the same message. Please help me find the problem.
  
  I am running windows 7. I think that my firewall and antivirus has nothing to do with this, because the XDB server and my brwoser client are on the same machine and the doesnot ask to go outside of the machine

  If you have any of these issues and don't know what to do anymore...

  (1) turn the listener
  (2) delete or save your listener.ora (C:\Oracle11GDB\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\network\admin\listener.ora
  (3) start the receiver
  (4) bounce the database to let pmon registers the listener or use ALTER SYSTEM REGISTER in SQL * more via the SYS/SYSTEM account.
  (5) have a good look now at the exit of the LSNRCTL STATUS

  If just as it should you get an own indication of what the database pushed as values of the function to the Auditor regarding:

  -hostname (FQDN name) of the machine
  -default TCP (s) SQL * Net of port numbers
  -name of the service
  -etc.

  Use this result for your next strategy, for example, to correct the bad values in your configuration file setting of database via pfile/spfile and/or listener.ora etc.

  Whenever you delete a user account, you will be prompted to "Delete" or "Keep files" and continue with the deletion of the user account.
   
  If you choose "Keep files" when the user account is deleted, by default, the files and the data user is in \Users folder, where is the location where windows is installed for example C:\.
   
  For example, if you deleted the user account 'Test', then the details will be available here C:\Users\Test.
  We recommend that you place in the users directory and check if there is no file.
   
  NOTE: If you choose the option to save files i.e. "keep files" then delete the user account, nothing much can be done to recover the files.

• problem with the ios certificate server does not update the CRL

  Hi all

  The background is that I'm putting a DMVPN solution with tunnels ipsec between the rays created by using certificates.

  I use a cisco 877 as the CA server (its 12.4 (6) T5) running to provide certificates for the spoke routers. This part works very well - rays can apply for a certificate and get a number very well.

  The problem is CA, life of LCR is set to 24 hours, but the CA is not updated the LCR so when the rays see CRL (as defined in their trustpoint) they point to a mistake that the CRL is obsolete and does not connect.

  If making a ' #sh cryptographic pki server ' it lists a ' CRL NextUpdate timer. It has a timestamp that is 24 hours after the last certificate was revocked. The only way I can get the LCR to be rebuilt must revoke a certificate.

  So, my question is, am I missing something here? I thought that it would automatically generations a new CRL list file every 24 hours.

  This seems to correspond to this bug:

  However, it does not mention if 12.4 (6) T5 is affected, only that it was found 12.4 (15) T3 and resolved to 12.4 (15) T10 and other more recent versions.

  I suggest trying the last 12.4 (15) Tx, 15.0 (1) Mx or 15.1 (4) Mx version if you can.

  I assumed that you have much of it, but just in case: as a workaround, you can disable CRL checking on all routers DMVPN, of course they will still allow connections from routers with a revoked RADIUS.

  As (temporary?) substitute for a Revocation list, you can use a 'certificate ACL' with which you can create kind of a 'local CRL Manual:

    crypto pki certificate map certACL 10    serial-number ne    serial-number ne    etc. 

    crypto pki trustpoint myTP

     match certificate certACL
  
      (note the "ne" stands for "not equal" so you are permitting any certificate whose serial number is not listed) 

  Of course, you would have to configure (and maintain!) participating on each router in the DMVPN so it's heavy, but I guess if you revoke often certs, that it might be an option.

  Yes, NAT is the network setting that allow you to generate ip which is pre defined in the virtual network Editor. and your virtual machine will also communicate to the outside network.

  On the contrary if you change host Only.The vm will get the ip address range but they will communicate within your host not the outside world. If no internet connection then. (No network connectivity don't require in this case)

  I'm looking for a very simple setup drag and drop from the tree to datagrid and I see a weird behavior... when I drag a node of the tree to the datagrid... It is added to the DataGrid, but gets also reproduced in the tree of the source (except the first moved node)

  The source for an XMLListCollection is an XMLList. The XMLListCollection is
  a _view_ of the XMLList and has no existence apart from him. The XMLList

  HHCTRL.ocx should be in C:\WINDOWS\system32, otherwise the C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386 copy in system32 folder, and then try to run the above command to save the file.

  Alternatively, you can extract the file from your installation cd using the following command

  I assume that your CD-ROM drive is d: and you have the windows installation CD in the drive, then you should run the following command.

  Expand D:\i386\hhctrl.oc_ - r c:\windows\system32\hhctrl.ocx

  This will extract the file to the location and once this is done, try to save the file "regsvr32.exe hhctrl.ocx.

  2. how many accounts do you have on the computer?
  3 have you tried to start the computer in Safe Mode?

  If you are unable to start the computer in safe mode, and then try to run a system restore from the System Recovery Options menu.

  So if you have SP2 installed, SP1 is already installed.
