  If you want to import an image at a time, then there is only one option:
  1. connect the memory card.
  2 ignore the Autorun window.
  3. click on start, click on computer.
  4 locate the memory card reader, double click it and select the photo files you want to import.
  5 copy the files and paste it in another location.

• Leopard Snow Leopard Mail Inbox

  I'll have to manual transfer of files from a G4 Mini under Leopard 10.5.8 on a Mini Intel Snow Leopard 10.6.8.  I copied my Leopard user (folder) files on an external drive of the mini old and now have the drive mounted on the new mini.  From there I copy the files in the folder to the homepage of Snow Leopard.  In the library folder > Mail, I copied my mailboxes of Leopard folder and who worked for these mailboxes that I created in the mail in Snow Leopard.  However, I also wanted my old leopard Inbox and sent mailbox emails transferred to Snow Leopard.

  Here's what I did that did not work.  I hope someone can tell me what I need to do.

  Home > library > Mail folder, there is a folder called POP @(my e-mail addy).  In this folder is a folder named INBOX.mbox and in which is a folder named Messages.  I copied the contents of my Leopard Messages in the Messages of Snow Leopard folder folder, but the messages are not displayed in my mail in Snow Leopard.  (Note: I get my e-mail address by downloading the mail to my e-mail provider's website and it is immediately removed from their server, which I assume has to do with the POP thing, but is probably not relevant to my question.)

  Any ideas on how I can get my box Mail Leopard Inbox and sent messages in the Mail in Snow Leopard?

  I am a novice trying to do this gesture of a very old mini and BONE, a slightly more recent mini and an OS system behind-the-times.  The reason why I do it manually is due to problems with the migration wizard and the modification of a G4 at and Intel.

  In the menu item Mail Dile, choose Import the mailboxes, choose Mail for Mac OS x, choose the high of 10.4 user library folder mail folder, wait while he looks for the boxes it can import, choose the ones you want, they will be imported in an area called the import, from there you can move the Inbox or where ever.

  and I read all sorts of messages elsewhere on what and how to back up, but I have not found a definitive answer to my problem.

  My external drive for Time Machine crapped out and is not repairable. I'm trying to back up to flash or CD before trying to reformat. I'm saving up for a new laptop and the drive (mine is 2008 and Lion is what she can do), but in the meantime I'd like to keep my data.

  One piece that may be relevant to the news before going further: I was a user of cloud in the beginning and I have many goofy w/mail problems because I still have the ghosts of MobileMe. It's a mess, really, but I've been waiting until I go to a new system, because many trips to the local Apple stores did not resolve things, only complicated the more... Then...

  I know that I should find the files I need to back up here:

  Drive hard name/users/my name of user/library/mail

  and

  Name/users/my username/Library/preferences/com.Apple.mail.plist hard drive

  BUT

  Nothing is in those places. The plists are 'previous systems' and appear to be error or similar message.

  I found, and go back, which seems to be the files, but they are in hard disk name/library. This could possibly be good? How will I know?

  And dare I I reformat the hard drive or should I bite the bullet and get a new drive now? I can't afford a w/USB-C, but I could spring for the G-Technology G-DRIVE. I really mobile, but I heard that it does not run hot. I really would assess a guarantee of 3 years and, with USB 3, I think it will be retro-compatible with my old system and be a good solution for a new (which, I hope, I can manage soon).

  If the/Home/Library/Mail folder is located in the folder/Library /, then move it back where it belongs unless there is already a folder/Home/Library/Mail /. In this case I would be throwing unless you want to import messages from him before throwing.

• Need help: moving from Outlook 2000 to Windows Live Mail

  I would like to ask my question/problem to be seen by someone who is an expert in your e-mail programs (Outlook, Windows Live Mail, etc.). Thank you!

  Here's the scenario:

  (1) we have a PC of office 9 years old who is replaced.  The operating system is Windows XP Home Edition - SP 2.  This PC runs a Microsoft Office 2000 Professional for ever... including Outlook 2000, which we use for our home e-mail accounts.

  2) there are 2 users on this PC (myself & my wife).  Outlook 2000 is configured in a way that allows both of us to share these same accounts. Regardless of whether I am connected to the computer or that it is recorded, when launch us Outlook, we are all two accesses to the same ".pst" file with the same Messages, the same Contacts & calendar.  (There are currently 2 set POP3 e-mail accounts in place of our provider (Verizon) that both feed into the same Inbox reception & records).

  (3) the old PC is replaced by a new system of office under Windows 7 Home Premium.  The new system came preloaded with Microsoft Office 2007 - Home & Student edition - comprising STEPS of Outlook.

  (4) outlook is a great program, but also because it's like a desktop messaging system, it's really more that most need people for the welcome e-mail.  We therefore decided to try Windows Live Mail on our new computer.

  (5) I've copied the ".pst file ' of our old PC to the new & attempted to import the messages into Live Mail.  Live Mail did not provide an option to import this format - only Outlook Express 6, Windows Mail & Windows Live Mail itself seem to be supported.

  (6) I read a message board entry online (can't remember where) that said that Outlook 2000 is not in a format that is compatible with Live Mail.  So, on our old computer XP, I opened OUTLOOK EXPRESS & imported all messages, contacts and calendar entries in Outlook 2000 ".pst" file.  The problem is: I don't know what to do next!  Everything is imported in Outlook Express on the old PC, but I don't know the name of the file they are or what I should do to get the Live Mail on the new PC to see.  The Dell tech support technicians were absolutely no help at all, I have turned to you all!

  Here are my questions:

  Can I configure Windows Live Mail to work in the same way that Outlook 2000 - shared between 2 users?  Our provider allow multiple e-mail addresses.  They all do not have to feed in boxes receive same account, but for myself & my wife, I would like to be able to see the Archives of message even when we are connected.

  In addition, my wife got a new Windows 7 laptop.  Would it not possible to 'network' of the ".pst" file in a shared folder so that each computer can see it in Live Mail?  (It would be a "friendlier", but it isn't a necessity by all means).  Or Live Mail not use same ".pst"?

  Or do we forget Live Mail completely & buy Outlook 2007?

  You do all the right things!  To find the folder that contains the Outlook Express files on the old XP computer, click Tools > Options > maintenance > store folder .  Copy this folder on the Windows 7 computer.  Then import Microsoft Outlook Express 6 on Windows Live Mail through this folder.

  Windows Live Mail supports multiple e-mail accounts.  Each has its own set of folders (Inbox, sent, deleted items, etc.).

  Only Outlook uses ".pst" files  I don't know of any way to share a file between two computers ".pst".  You can set up e-mail on computers programs to read the same incoming messages.

  I have an application that calls a package that sends the password resets to an apex application.  The code in this package looks like this:

  In the Admin of the Apex, the TB of the topic and update appear correctly in queue, but I get the error: ORA-24247: access denied by access control (ACL) of network list.  I tried to send all messages, but all that is increment the number in the column number to Send Mail.

  In Instance Apex Admin, I have the address of the appropriate SMTP host, the Port is 587 the SMTP authentication user name and password are both appropriate.  I tested the access via an e-mail account on the mail server.  The mail server requires authentication.  Also, I looked at other users / Apex_040200 / Planner / ORACLE_APEX_MAIL_QUEUE and I saw a bunch of entries every 15 minutes with the status of SUCCESSFUL operation.

  Is there anything else I need to check?

  When the APEX MAIL runs, it runs as the APEX_040200 (or respective version).

  Add it to your list of user ACL.

  That should allow APEX reach your server.

• Recent contacts in iOS 10?

  I have updated to iOS 10 yesterday, and I noticed that now, when I slide right, I get a lot of things like the weather, maps, destinations, recent applications, next, etc.  The only thing that I get more four most recent contacts, I called him, that is the only thing I use the most.

  It was so easy to slide, press the photo of my husband or the mother and make a call.  Now, I have to either open the messages app (and press his picture), or the contacts app and scroll down to find the number.

  How can I get my 4 most recent contacts back on this screen, so I don't have to go through the extra steps?  I tried to use the button Edit, but it doesn't have the ability to add contacts.

• Migrate messages from the Macbook Air to new iMac 2012 2016

  How can I migrate all my messages (text, iMessage) of my Macbook Air to my new iMac 2012 2016? I have a lot of messages on my laptop and I want to migrate them to my iMac just to have them for reference/memory later. I do this because I would like to activate the monthly updating of message on my iPhone, so he won't have to queue all my messages it years ago and I am also reformat my old Macbook Air.   Messages and e-mail accounts and data are found in/Home/Library/Messages/and/Home/Library/Mail/files. Just copy the content to the same folders on the new computer.

  Or you can migrate your complete folder from the old computer to the new home. This can be done using the love at first sight between the two cable and on the new computer using target disk Mode use the Migration Wizard to migrate your application. It could also be run from a time Machine or another external backup drive.

  Migration will not overwrite any user account that has already been created on the new computer. MY simply creates a new Admin user account name. You will then need to switch to the newly migrated account.

  My problem appeared when a contact is sent a text about a new mobile phone number to replace an existing number. I already have a number at home, e-mail address and contact facebook linked in their contact information. I added the new number but can't delete the original that appears with a small lock next to it. The e-mail address of this contact also has the same icon and I wouldn't be able to change this also (should I have the inclination!) I suppose I could delete just the contact and start again, but would rather understand why I can't edit this contact, I'm sure that's not the only time wherever I encounter the problem.   You are welcome. You can check this easily yourself. No need to communicate with your friend. Just go to the profile of your friend through your computer and look at the "info" tab Then, scroll to the bottom and in the

  "Contacts" section, you can find the phone number. This will probably be the phone number that shows with a padlock on your phone icon.

  You can set different tones for different Gmail accounts.

  I received this email from the Microsoft account team. I do not use MSN, I don't use or have an account of hot mail I have an xbox live account, I received this email to my home e-mail lists that is provided by my local cable/intenet provider. Is it a fake?
