Home Profile Answer File status still says "incomplete".

I have a 6.0U1a of 3 nested nodes vSphere environment, and set up a profile of the host to do all my compatible hosts. I've updated the answer file and it is complete, but the State never changes to show 'Complete' and is still showing 'Incomplete', regardless of how many times I try to update and save.  Is this a bug?  Help, please...

Yes, I was recreating the profile of the host from scratch and to ensure all fields have been filled correctly.  Now, everything is good, thx.

When Firefox 3.6.11 came out I wanted to update. I clicked "apply downloaded update now... "and then just rebooted without updating. I went to the download page, download the program installation and upgrade in this way. It worked, but now it still says "apply downloaded update now...» "in the Help menu.
Why it does this and how can I fix this without losing my bookmarks and settings?

See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Software_Update (Software Update doesn't work does not correctly)

Delete the files in the folder updates\0 and updates:

    Vista/Windows7:

    C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox\updates
    (%LOCALAPPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox\updates)

    • Download a new copy of Firefox http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
    • Remove the Firefox program folder before installing this copy of the Firefox installer.
    • It is important to remove the Firefox program folder to delete all the files and make sure that there is no problem with the files that were the remains after uninstallation.

Your bookmarks and other profile data is stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a (rei) installation, but make sure that you do not select delete data of a personal nature if you decide to uninstall Firefox.

  • 8.1 Windows still says Sky Drive and not a disc

I received an email that said that sky is now a player.

I went on the site and was able to sync with my phone (the app was updating a disk) and then I will try to synchronize with my pc.

The site says that it is part of windows 8.1 and will update automatically.  I got all the latest Windows updates 8.1.   The application on my PC still says Sky Drive.  When the update will occur?

Right now, I can't post all the files in the sky of the drive folder in Windows Explorer.  He says that I don't have permission, even if I'm the only user who's ever been on this computer.

I was hoping with the update to a player, that would be resolved.

I would use it, but if I can't post the files, it is useless for me.

    Hello

I wish to inform you that the name of the SkyDrive will automatically change on the computer. The name changes with the updates of Windows for OneDrive.

You can refer to the suggestion of Dan T from the link next if you have problems with the display of files in SkyDrive.

  • Home profiles to configure the server with vDS

    Hello

I'm new to Host Profiles and you want to set up a new generation of server to match the existing reference host. The hardware is identical. I did a manual install and it patched, then I tried that apply the host profile after generating the answer file. I just put IPs in the answer, not the MAC addresses file. I got an error "parameter specified is not correct: PortGroupName. Now the network configuration is a little crooked, the standard vSwitch is still there, and none of the links rising vDS have a physical card associated with them.

Would someone mind helping me through the steps you would use to apply a profile of the host to a newly built server? I do the distributed configuration manually first vswitch or anything else in preparation? Very much appreciated.

    Thank you

    Mike

Update: well, I found the source of my error - another admin added a vmkernel port a VDS service and left there for me to stumble, the profile of the host had not been updated since. I deleted and the profile correctly applied this time. My only concern is about to add a new host for the 4 distributed vswitches and migrate the vswitch service VDS Management, I have to prepare all this manually? -Thank you, Mike.

    Hello

With profiles of the host, you should have a host set up with everything you need (the host of reference). After this, you can create a profile from the host, set this profile to the host you want to modify, verify compliance and then apply the profile. It should ask you unique settings such as the ip addresses of the ports of vmk.

I downloaded Sierra.  Installation failed saying corrupted download.  App Store still says downloaded, but there is no button install and I can't download it again.

    What should I do?

    Hello volvoxc70,

I understand that you have downloaded macOS Sierra, but are not able to install it, because you are told that the download was corrupted. In a situation like this, the next step would be to remove existing installation application download and re - download.

Applications downloaded from the App Store: click on the Launchpad icon in the Dock, hold the application icon until all the icons begin to jiggle, then click on the button to remove the application. If you later want the app, you can reinstall it on the App Store.

OS X El Capitan: install, update and uninstall applications
    https://support.Apple.com/kb/PH21867

If you do not have Launchpad on your Dock, you can access your Applications folder in the Finder menu reach > Applications. Once in the application, find install it macOS Sierra app, click once to select it, open the file menu > move to the trash. You will need to enter your administrator password to perform this operation.

    See you soon!

When I reboot XP Home Edition, a file of microsoft empty folder appears on the screen

    Hello

    1 - is a file or a folder?
    2. What is its content?
    3. what message display?
    4. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

Please answer the above-mentioned questions and provide more specific information on the issue. This could help us help you better.

You can check the question in the clean boot state.

From your computer by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine if a background program is interfering with your game or program. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot".

    Reference:
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
    a. click Startand then click run.
    b. type msconfigand click OK.

The System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    c. click on the general tab, click Normal Startup - load all device drivers and services and then click OK.

  • I did a system restore and the files are still there, but I can't find the location.

I did a restore on my Windows XP system because I was not able to access my desktop because the password entry bar giving access to the Office not show up no matter how many times I rebooted the computer.

When I made the recovery of the system, he said that my files were not going to be deleted, all programs were still there, but the photos, videos and music were gone from My Documents.

So I tried to find on the C drive, I thought that maybe they had just moved somewhere else. I even went in the folder options to show hidden folders, but the files are not in one of these folders.

However I know that the files are still there, because when I look at the properties of the drive C with the right click of the mouse, it says drive C is always full, as it was before the system recovery. So this means that the files are still there but I don't know where.

I have lots of family photos and videos that I want back. These are the only things I want to get back and maybe my music files.

Any ideas how I can find these files or the folder that contains the? Perhaps through MS-DOS or something like that? I have external hard drives to copy if I find them.

  • Windows detected your registry file is still in use for other applications or services - IIS 7 w3wp.exe

I use a new computer with Windows 7 to run tests of endurance for a WCF application.
    I see that the w3wp.exe is discharged to 2 - 3 times a day:

Windows detected your registry file is still in use for other applications or services. The file will be unloaded now. Applications or services that keep your registry file may not work properly thereafter.

I run the tests as an administrator.
This continuous restart of IIS prevents my run endurance tests.

I am the only user of the administrator on this computer, no other applications running on the computer.

I found similar questions and I tried their solutions without success.

    Hello

If you use IIS, it would be better to post the same question in the IIS forums to get help.
