Horizontal menu widget - left alignment

Does anyone know an easy way to align the text in a submenu of the Muse CC horizontal menu widget to the left rather than the standard Center-alignment?

Select the submenu container and the hit button on the left of the Align attribute in the text panel (you may have to alternate between Center and left to do this work).

Thank you

Vinayak

Instead of making the menu 100% width create the illusion of it.

Create a rectangle and 100% of the width, then place your menu on it and align it with the rectangle.

Background color of the menu and the rectangle must be the same.

  • Problem of formatting in the content with the horizontal menu widget area

I use a regular horizontal menu widget with several different taps within an empty page.  I lived as if the content field under the first tap, for example, is 300 pixels long, all other fields of content under other taps will inherit the same height.  Because I have different amounts of text in various taps, I need to be able to REDUCE the height of the text field. But it won't let me.

    Any input is much appreciated!

    Hi ACW100,

Please select size spacing: uniform point in the menu dropdown.

It does not resize the tabs separately, but it might serve your purpose (spacing problems).

  • How can I get a horizontal menu widget to display the 100% width?

I created a horizontal menu with uniform spacing and tended to each side. I can't get the red mark appears on the left side, but he appears on the right. No matter what I do, the menu continues to show short on the right side of my screen in preview mode.

Anyone know how to do properly? Anyone else had any problems with it?

  • Horizontal menu Widget Bug - default font

I'll have a maddening problem with fonts in the Widget Menu Horizontal. He arrived to a point that I think just creating buttons in Photoshop and be done with it.

The main problem is the default font - especially in the active state.

I did drag an instance of the horizontal menu on the master page.

The names of top-level page appeared in the buttons.

I clicked on the button home, changed the 18pt Helvetica font. It updated to the police for all States in the viewer of States.

I changed the background color for individual States to adapt to the color scheme of the site.

All seemed good UNTIL I introduced the site Preview in the browser. The State of the active button had failed in the Georgia 14pt. Other States were all 18pt Helvetica

I went back in and selected the active button at home and specifically changed state police what I wanted to.

Once again, when previewing in the browser or in the Muse preview pane, the active State was Georgia 14pt.

I went back in, deselected 'Edit Together', changed the active state of each button to Helvetica one.

Even once, seen in the browser detects the GEORGIA.

    What is going on?

    About Adobe Muse, he says:

    v2.0, build 945 CL 770253

    3.4.0.2540 AIR runtime

    Hello

I can reproduce the problem. But here is a workaround:

    1 Insert Horizontal menu

    2. Select the Home menu item

    3. pass the active state

4 reset by default (click on the trash icon). You lose the fill color for the active state (#999999), but it you reapply

    5. Select the label inside the Home menu item

6 go to the active state (if you're not already in Active state)

7 reset by default (click on the trash icon).

Now you can format as desired (18pt Helvetica). Let me know if it works.

  • width of 100% when you use the menu widget?

    Hello Muse Forum,

I insert a horizontal menu widget in a composition of muse and clicking the '100% ' at the top to make it 100% on the drawing page.  On the drawing page, it seems good and fills the width of the composition.  When I saw in a browser, however, it is left-aligned and does not fill the width of 100%.  Any ideas on how to make this functional?

    Thanks a ton-

  • Horizontal menu moves when opening new pages

I have seven top-level pages and have used the horizontal menu widget in my master page. When I view the site in my browser the first four pages loading without problem, but when I opened the last three pages the menu moves to the 20pixles right. If I can open say page this page menu 2 then returned to the original location as it was in the home page.

Can anyone advise me as to why this is happening. I also tried with the last four pages left in white, and the problem persists, so I guess that the content of the page is not the cause.

    Thank you in advance

    John

One way that it could move is if the first pages are longer than the others and scrolling side displays or disappears.

  • Menu widget never answers 8 seconds for 8 seconds

    Hello

I bought model Muse and I build websites with Muse CC (2014) (www.janka-photograhy.ch)

This is a template page with scroll effects on it.

On each page, with the exception of home' I have the horizontal menu widget. Now, on the next page (über mich)

menu stops responding after 8 seconds for 7-8 seconds and then work normally again for

8 seconds and so on. This only happens on the page "über mich. On other pages (offer, Gallery, Kontakt)

everything works fine. No idea why this phenomenon occurs?

    Thank you very much.

    Dalibor

PS Is the problem arises in Firefox but not in Internet Explorer.

Hi mac_heibu, thank you very much for your answer.

I solved my problem. It wasn't widget, it was one of the images of tree on the location of the HOUSE, which was too large (in height).

Now everything works well, and the menu is very fast and responsive.

    Best regards

  • Menu widget Muse

I use the horizontal menu widget muse. A page that has two sub pages. How can I get the drop down menus under a tab menu. I see other sites that have the drop down tabs menu but do not see tutorials on how to do it.

    Thank you

    Linda

I think that you have configured to display top level only the type of Menu pages. If this is the case, change it to all Pages as shown below.

    Thank you

  • I use a horizontal menu of the widgets library. All right, except that I would have any of the drop-down list list stay open after selecting the top item... and remain open after the selection of a menu under item - so that the viewer knows where they are

I use a horizontal menu of the widgets library. All right, except that I wish I had the all menu drop-down list stay open when you have selected the top element. And when you have selected a menu SUP item - so that the viewer knows where they are in the navigation. Who is? Thank you!

    Hello

There is no native function to Muse to achieve this goal. However, if you host your site on Business Catalyst, you can take advantage of the functionality of breadcrumbs. He won't let the open drop-down list stay, but it will show customers on what page they are and that he can see that they have followed to reach the page. For more information, please visit the following link http://helpx.adobe.com/business-catalyst/partner/add-breadcrumbs.html

  • Menu widget seems to work fine until I hit a snippet

    Hello!

I'm having a problem with the menu widget where I want the text in the active State to be larger than the text in the normal state. Everything seems OK, all working at the Muse, but when I hit preview in Muse on in the browser, it does not look good. The text goes longer, but he sits a bit higher than expected.

Note the 'MOJE DELO' in the pictures.

When I do the same thing for the rollover State, everything works fine, and the text is aligned horizontally to other (smaller) inactive items in the menu.

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

Preview is just a basic idea of what it should look like... different machines / browsers will always be rendor what they want, so you'll need to publish the interim site BC to see "such what."

  • Muse of the drop down Menus - how LEFT align?  Everyone?

I have a menu via the menu widget and I want to left-align the links in the menu dropdown.  This works if you set the menu on 'One size' option, but does NOT work if you set the menu on "uniform spacing.

The button Align left does not work (only if a uniform spacing is chosen).  There must be a way to left-align the submenus, right?

I searched the forum, and it was not a solution.

Can anyone help?  I really need my submenus left-aligned.

    Thank you!

You can try selecting the text element, and then via the text panel use dash.

  • Menu Widget is blurred.

I apologize in advance if I use the terms wrong and I'll do the best job I can to explain the problem. Some might regard this as nit picking, but if you are going to build the web content I expect to be pixel perfect.

When I try to use the menu widget horizontal and flow it out in my design, I can't text to look nice and crisp and clean when it is exported to MUSE? The image below shows the 100% right and a view zoomed on the left. Anti-aliasing makes the shapes of blurred letters. (as if they are not placed on the coordinates in whole pixels?) So all the text is not nice and clean and crisp it seems frozen that looks like craft sloppy and makes me not want to use the widget.

    http://www.vonstervault.com/temp/menu_fuzz.jpg

When I place (non-widget text) as indicated below in a layout of MUSE, it handles very well anti-aliasing and the final text when exporting seems nice and clean and crispy as expected. So, that tells me something in the widget itself is not implemented with precision and causes thus unnecessary anti-aliasing of the text which makes blurred in appearance.

    http://www.vonstervault.com/temp/no_fuzz.jpg

I look forward to the MUSE is finally making design accessible web for those who want to focus on the design and coding does not, but I can't accept sloppy like that craft. Of course, it is a type of thing retail but as they say the devil is in the details and this just looks bad and must be fixed. Actually, the whole menu widget feature should be refined and improved. It's kind of a pain to drill down in the widget and select to change the appearance of things. He sometimes is hinky and will appear when editing and that sometimes does not?

But the final product should be visually accurate, clean and sharp without the blur factor.

No, it's the fact that the cap (height of capital letters) in the text of 14 points (Helvetica in this case) is not exactly divide the resolution of the screen in pixels. So the top or the base of capital letters (or both) will be drawn as partial pixel by antialiasing provided by the OS or the browser, which translates into the blur that you find unacceptable. Some browsers do not support fractional for text or fractional sizes leading, not clear there is nothing under the control of Muse here.

Point FWIW 15 height of capitals towers in better than 14 common screen resolutions, so if you find the anti-aliasing to be highly objectionable, it might be avoiding limiting patterns develop overall size values that give rise to heights of well in the screen resolutions that round Cape routine.
