• Error on finding host on cloud Enterprised Manager 12 c

  I installed an Oracle Enterprised Manager Cloud control 12 c and create plug-ins for installing agents on other Oracle database servers.

  The Agent is successfully opened, and it is found in my repository Cloud control 12, this officer waas c installed on a server called CORP12, but when I click on the link CORP12 the following message appears:

  "Error retrieving information from the target. There may be more. See the log file for more details."

  I ran the agent status emctl and everything is OK.

  Y at - it an idea how can I see the CORP12 on Cloud Control configurations?

• Oracle hosted Instance of APEX is down Again... :(

  Just to inform people, I was watching a demo one of the blogs of the APEX, when I tried to launch the demo application, the site was showing the Oracle Corp. site unavailable message.
  
  I can offer a suggestion here... The links that are on this web page are INTERNAL servers to Oracles, so they don't REALLY offer help to people outside... They evolve is the pages to NOT display the links or change links to display USEFUL information about time to stop planned or current state?

  I use jdev 11.1.2.4, mysql and glassfish server.

  I have developed an application of adf and have hosted on cloud used.

  • Database Oracle as database level
  • Data services Oracle REST deployed to support for Java EE application server Middle Tier part 1
  • Apache HTTP Server or any other server HTTP Reverse Proxy Middle Tier as part 2
  • Browser as a Client Tier

• Help on migration of 3GL APEX

  Totally new to Oracle Apex. In our company we use the programming language called PENCIL that resembles the COBOL. Now, one day we're migration codes PENCIL to PL/SQL, but keeping the front-end server as a PENCIL. My question is, can we have the front-end server as APEX? PL/SQL will be required to do the programming?

  Moreover, you don't need the local variable new_id. You can do something like this:

  Hello

  You cannot configure the server URL JEE shipped during execution of the auditor of the APEX in standalone Mode, because it is hard coded. Deploy it to a server regular JEE (which is recommended for production anyway) or put an HTTP proxy in front of your APEX listener and configure it to the proxy where you want. You could use your Oracle HTTP Server and configure it as a proxy, but because it seems you want to replace this service, maybe it's a little absurd. ;)

  I installed 3.2 on XE and after installing APEX, images are not displayed to the top. The default URL is http://localhost: 8080/apex/apex_admin. In addition, when I get ID them admin and the password. It doesn't do anything. The status baar browser indicates error on page.

• Apex installation problem: / pls/apex/apex_admin = > HTTP 404

  Install new to Apex in Oracle 10.2.0.4 3.2.1, using Oracle HTTP Server Oracle AS 10 g 3. Not yet applied the patch.
  
  When I navigate to http://{host:port}/pls/apex/apex_admin to create a workspace, I get an HTTP 404 error.
  
  In the Apache log, I get: [Thu Aug 27 13:16:39 2009] [error] [client #] [ecid: #] mod_plsql: / pls/apex/apex_admin HTTP-404 \napex_admin: PROCEDURE is not EXIST\n
  
  There is a public synonym APEX_ADMIN, but this points to APEX_030200.APEX_ADMIN, which does not exist. Should APEX_030200 have a private synonym called APEX_ADMIN?

• Proxy Apache with APEX

  Hey all. I try to use Apache to proxy port with APEX. We have a client that blocks their out past ports, so I need our application to run on the network on ports 80 and 8080 not. So basically, I'm trying to turn this:

  to do this:
  
  www.Host.com/pls/apex/f?p=102:1:1536109969823621
  
  I worked with Apache ProxyPass in the past, but I have always been pointing to a folder like www.example.com/test/ and not have to worry about the arguments after the last.

• Download the content of the BLOB from a custom table

  In our application hosted the apex, the following code from the Express on the Application Developer's Guide works great to allow a user to download the contents of the blob of one of our paintings customized via a download button. However, the code does not work on the Cloud Oracle because the 'owa_util' package is no longer available. The code is as follows:

  Hi Steve,.

  (1) sys.owa_util is certainly available. You should be able to issue this block very well SQL commands:

  Start

  ((2) I think the problem is that you have created a procedure that a) cannot not be granted run to the PUBLIC and b) cannot be called directly from the URL (because of a properly locked APEX listener which restricts entry points, i.e..) What procedures can be called directly from the URL).

  Even if there was no prohibition of granting something to the PUBLIC, you would never get by the restriction on the call of your own point of entry of the URL. Also in a facility non - Cloud APEX (and even when you're using mod_plsql), the list of entry points is applied through the PlsqlRequestValidationFunction (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/web.1111/e10144/under_mods.htm#HSADM698).

  Two ways around this:

  (1) you can define a request of the process which, when called, downloads the requested file

  or

  (2) you may want to expose this functionality via a RESTful Service of media resources, even though right now, I'm not necessarily details how you would ensure access to it.
