Hot settings Synchronization Manager (conflict resolution)

Hello

I synchronize an office and a desktop home with a Palm Z22.  I had a lot of problems with duplicate appointments!  How to configure the hot Sync Manager settings?  I have lines (calendar, Notepad, etc.) set to "synchronize files".  But when I click on 'Edit', then 'settings', I am led to the 'Conflict Resolution' option and the choices are double Pocket WINS, Outlook WINS, or ignore.  Who should I choose if I want to avoid duplicate appointments?

Thank you.

Nancy

No matter what computer you do most seized on must be set to "synchronize".

The other computer must be set to "Handheld overrides Desktop" and set as the default operation.  This makes this a 'slave' computer and will be a copy of what you have on the other computer.  Be mindful to avoid any problem, do not make new entries on the computer 'slave' - enter new data in your Z22.

If the computer that you typed most of the data on demand, (and you use Outlook as your sync program), I put it to "Outlook wins."

  • Conflict resolution Manager

    Hi all

    Hope that everyone else is doing great.

    Conflict resolution Manager has stopped working.  Saw that he had

    SQL > select count (*) in the fnd_conflicts_domain;

    COUNT (*)

    ----------

    25012

    If no new request not made. Unfortunately for the last 3 years concurrent requests is also not running. So can not submit now for as it will go and stop conflict resolution Manager queue.

    Do you have

    SQL > select count (*) in the fnd_conflicts_domain;

    COUNT (*)

    ----------

    25012

    SQL > create table fnd_conflicts_domain_bu in select * from fnd_conflicts_domain;

    Table created.

    SQL > select count (*) in the fnd_conflicts_domain_bu;

    COUNT (*)

    ----------

    25012

    SQL > truncate table applsys. FND_CONFLICTS_DOMAIN;

    Table truncated.

    truncated the table. Started to run after new applications, but applications pending passed in to, in the meantime the waking state. And later 300 applications pending and now no new applications runs as well.

    Please suggest on the same.

    Hi Hussein/Asif,

    The fnd_conflicts_domain table has reached the lines of 25K max. If dispute resolution Manager was not able to take new applications.

    We removed the records manually using

    remove from applsys.fnd_conflicts_domain a

    where there is no

    (select 1 from applsys.fnd_concurrent_requests b

    where b.cd_id = a.cd_id and Phase_code <> 'C')

    and cd_id <> 0 and dynamic = "Y";

    After that the sytem came to normal.

  • Problems with Windows Update! ("some settings are managed by your system administrator"?)

    I seem to have problems with my windows update. Last week when I checked to see if updates were needed that I was unable to view them because he said that "some settings are managed by your system administrator" who won't let me change the settings and the display of updates. It's my own personal computer so I am the administrator. However, this week update windows begins to function normally because there was an update available and I managed to download it, but a few days later, the windows on the screen update returned to say that "some settings are managed by your system administrator. I did a scan for spyware/adware/virus recently and I had only a low risk of adware that was detected and deleted without modification with windows update. This problem started right after that I got a warranty of software installed by Dell, I don't know if what they did could cause the problem. The system I use is Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    "Windows problem report is disabled." I can't activate the problem reports and Solutions on my Windows Vista computer.  When I click on "Change settings", I would be prompted with the following message if poster "some settings are managed by your system administrator."  It's personal PC at home.  I don't know how to activate it.  I already went to political group & register to adjust some settings.  But still unable to activate this.

    All settings are disabled as this.

    This problem only recently.

    Method 1

    System Restore does not work.

    Method 2

    Disable the antivirus software does not work.

    But after some research, I realized that the problem could be due to a recent installation of a PC anti-frustration software called Soluto (the star was "Activate Crash Handler Soluto").  It worked after that.  After uninstalling, I rebooted the PC system.  After the reboot, I checked the reports on the problems and Solutions and found I could now adjust advanced settings.  I have also reinstalled the software, Soluto and ensured that this time, "activate Crash Handler Soluto" not was not checked (i.e. enabled).

    It seems that you use Windows 8. You will not be able to access the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) If you use Windows 8. Group Policy Editor can have access on Windows 8 Pro/Enterprise edition of Windows 8.

    Have you tried the other suggestions contained in my previous post? security software i.e. un-installing third if installed computer and to access the windows update settings by enabling the built-in Windows administrator account.

  • New user of watercourse having set up the conflict resolution

    I have just recently started working with Oracle Streams 11 GR 2. I have two-way replication between two data bases of work. Now I'm starting to experiment with the resolution of conflicts. I use a simple table with only three columns (no LOB). I tried to clarify first DISCARD, then CRUSH and MAXIMUM then (after adding a TIMESTAMP field that is filled by a trigger). In each case, when I try to commit an insert of the exact same rendered first in a database and then immediately after the second database, the account assignment for each abandoned with a uniqueness violation. Anyone has an idea why the conflict resolution is not doing its job?

    lol, took me a while to realize:

    Update conflict managers deals updated and you do an INSERT. There is a uniqueness conflict:

    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E11882_01/server.112/e10705/conflict.htm#i1006244

    You are supposed to use one set of keys by DB. usually people give a different range of sequence by site.

    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E14072_01/server.112/e10705/conflict.htm#i1006279

    Now if you can not use, then set an error handler that transform the INSERT in an UPDATE.

    Cheer.

    No idea what setting it may be? I already checked User Configuration / Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Windows Update andComputer Configuration / Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Windows Update

    All the settings there are not configured. Subkeys of WU policy deleted the registry as suggested in another thread here.

    Help!

    Phew, I managed to get it working again. Here's the solution that worked for me:

    Open the regedit.exe

    * Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

    * Delete subkey named NoWindowsUpdate (if it exists)

    No need to reboot. Windows Update should now work correctly.
