How always show the toolbar of the improvements in the latest version of Windows Media Player?

I made the switch from XP to Win7 64 bit and I would like to get WMP to behave like the previous version where the playback speed settings were still visible after the opening of WMP. I can't figure out how to activate this visibility option in the latest version. In the current version, I have to open the menu of upgrades, select the toolbar, and then rearrange on the screen to make it visible, and then set the speed.

Clues on how to solve this problem so that I see the toolbar automatically everytime I open the program? Thank you.

Hi usp.

I'm afraid to say that you shouldn't find this option open by default as it was in previous versions of Windows Media Player. And there is no work around to get its default opening because it's by the architecture of the software.

However there is an improvement in the same, instead of the default toolbar that we had previously we an arrow below the now playing tab where you can navigate in the development option.
Here's how:
1. start the playback of a file.
2. click on the arrow on the tab playing, point to enhancements, and then click play speed settings.
3. move the speed slider play on the speed at which you want to read the content, or click the slow, Normal or fast.
4. to select speeds between the speeds of game marked, in the enhancements pane, clear the cursor Snap box common speeds.
5. to hide the settings, click Close in the enhancements pane.

For more information you can check the items below:

  • What is the latest version of Windows Media Player compatible with WM 6.5?

I have a HTC Touch Pro 2 running Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone.  What is the latest version of Windows Media Player, I can use?

    You can not.

Your question was not entirely clear.

WMP is for XP, not the HTC device. If you have Windows mobile on your HTC, then it will be a Media Player built into it. If you have the latest version, AFAIK you update from 6.5 to what is the latest version of Windows Mobile. If its 6.5, then you already have the latest version.

You can also see the MS Windows Mobile...

  • CC desktop application (windows) shows the latest versions of the CC apps for installation. How should I do?

I was CC member since the beginning; About 6 months ago the desktop app CC on my main desktop PC stopped showing the latest versions of most of the applications (for example, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc., didn't show that the version "CS") and stopped giving me alerts of updates. It still works fine on my (much lower spec) laptop.

I tried various fixes (for example to remove the file from opm.db to ' AppData/Local/adobe/OODB) but it has not solved the problem. I had a work around (download files to install from the Adobe website and use the function 'check updates' applications).

With the recent update and the release of versions "(2014)", these works no longer function wrapper. The application of CC desktop always, shows of most of today's applications, and trying to download applications from the site Web Adobe sends me to the CC desktop application, which then isn't, download the new application.

I foolishly thought that a completely clean install might help, so I uninstalled all my Adobe apps, ran the 'clean' app, & tried... more things have gone from bad to worse, because I can't even older versions (pre-'2014 ') to download to install desktop applications.

My immediate problem is not to have a working version of Photoshop on my main PC - version "CS" is put at my disposal through the application of office of CC, but not the 'CC' or ' CC (2014) ' versions.

The specifications of the PC are superior to the minimum specification for the 'CC' apps, so I don't think that's the problem.

    -Win 7 Pro SP 1, 64 - bit

    -Intel i7 - 3770K (3.5 Ghz quad core)

    -16 GB OF RAM

-650 GB of free disk space

    -etc.

Welcomed any ideas on how to solve it; I'm at my wits end...

    Ian

Just had a very productive discussion with the support team, which was quickly diagnosed and solved the problem. The application of CC desktop was running in compatibility mode 'Vista' for some weird reason; changed that out & it now works as expected.

Many thanks to Adobe support team to solve my problem!

    Hello

is it really not possible to use media keys (Play, Pause, FF) on top of my laptop for an application other than Windows Media Player?
Is there a reason for this? I would like to control Winamp with this button.

It seems quite sensless to restrict access to a SINGLE application of HUNDREDS available, a then it is the multimedia player that is not used by most people.

I have the Satellite A210 Notbook.

Can you tell my how to control my winamp with these buttons?

    Greetings from Robert

    Hello, Robert

Unfortunately, there is no solution at the moment. If you check this forum, you will find several very interesting discussions on the multimedia buttons and Winamp player. The fact is that some people have found the solution for older models of laptops running Windows XP Home edition. Winamp has offered the plugin must be installed.

We now have the new situation. Your laptop is running latest Vista OS and I didn t find any plugin that can help. Problem is that your laptop is designed for Windows Vista preinstalled OS contains all the necessary plugins for Windows media player running under the operating system preinstalled.

Is any kind of restriction. With preinstalled operating system you can do what you want and if you can find a way to change it for that. You know very well that there are hundreds of different players in the market. You can't wait for Toshiba take a time and create a plugins for each other and satisfy customers around the world.

How can I check to see if I have the latest version of Windows XP? If I don't have the latest version of XP, how can I install it?

There is not "later" version of XP - XP there and there is that Service Packs added to it.

To know what Service Pack level you are to start - run and type in "winver" (without the quotes)
