How can I activate on the network access Protection?

Windows 8 may depend on network access Protection.  How can I?   How to find the answer to this question.   I see that a lot of people have the same question, but I do not see a single response.  I see that they have received a response, but can't find the answer.

Its a Windows Service.    Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Services - and scroll down to the network access Protection Agent.       If you set it to automatic, it will run at startup every time.    You can read its description.

How can I activate on the network access Protection, he tells me it's off and that it must be manufactured on. So please can you me how to enable Network Access Protection?

You don't need to turn it on. Network access protection is a feature that for use in business and companies to make sure that only clients which are safe and meet certain security requirements could access the network location. It is something that will be in service by admin in a company if wanted.

If your PC is part of the domain network and it is part of the company contact your admin to ask if this feature is applicable. Otherwise, don't need to worry about this. This is just to inform you about the status of the PAN and you don't need to do anything.

  • What is the network access Protection Agent and when should it be on?

It seems to be disabled by default in the Action Center Security Section.  What does if it is turned on?

    Hello

The network access Protection agent service collects and manages health information for client computers on a network. The information collected by the NAP agent are used to ensure that the client computer has the required software and settings. If a client computer is not compatible with the health policy, it can be equipped with restricted network access until their configuration is updated. Depending on the configuration of health policies, client computers may be automatically refreshed allowing users to quickly regain full network access without having to manually update the computer. By default, the startup type of Network Access Protection (NAP), agent service is manual under services.msc.

  • Should I have the Network Access Protection Agent Service to start automatically on Windows 8?

    Hello!

While I was looking for a completely different setting in Control Panel in Windows 8, I came across the center of the Action settings and noticed that the Agent of network access Protection service is not running. I open the computer management snap-in and noticed that the service is configured by default must be started manually. I looked for more information on the internet but I wasn't able to find a detailed explanation about his goal for a personal computer. The only explanation I found applied only to Windows Server.

Is it really necessary to configure this service to start automatically on a home network, or can it be just left set to start manually? What is its use on Windows 8? Is this just in case the computer needs to access a network of business domain?

I am running Windows 8 Pro 64-bit edition on an Acer Aspire 5552-5898 connected most of the time in my network domestic, although usually I connect to public networks. My computer is not configured to connect to a domain on a corporate network, not even using VPN. When I access my e-mail from this computer company account, I first need to authenticate with a code provided by RSA device before I can connect to Outlook (OWA).

    Thanks for choosing Microsoft Community!

You have reached the right forum. Try to solve this problem.

As I understand it, in the center of the Action the officer of Access Protection settings network service does not work.

The service can be left to be set to start manually.

It is especially where the computer needs to access a network of business domain.

Do you understand what is the print screen key?  It takes a screenshot of your screen and put it in your Clipboard - is not, despite its name, print screen a printer directly.

    Try this:
    1) Press PRINT SCREEN

  • How can I activate / display the layer selection indicator?

    Hello

I use Indesign CC 2015 since shortly after its release. As in previous versions of InDesign and other applications (such as Illustrator) Adobe, there is a useful feature in the layers panel, which allows direct selection of a layer or layer point. It appears in the layer panel to the far right of the layer element. It is a small square and it becomes highlighted/provided that layer/item is selected. I have a page of InDesign CC 2014:

    Screen Shot 2015-07-10 at 5.54.07 PM.png

It's a blue square in the screenshot above, next to the pencil icon bit. This square icon disappeared from my indesign layers CC 2015 Panel. I searched preferences, Options for the layer, options, modes of display panel, I can't, and I use it very frequently. How can I turn this feature on? Help, please!

    Thank you in advance.

  • How can I activate/disable the display of a scrolling text object?

I am a relatively new user of Captivate and I am using the Interaction of learning in 8 Captivate text scrolling. Specifically, I would like to have a button on the screen when you click it, the drop-down text box will be displayed for the learner. In addition, when viewing, I want a REJECTION or button CLOSE to allow the user to hide the drop-down text box. Basically, I want them to be able to toggle the scrolling text box market at their convenience. I have the following set in place.

    1 READ MORE graphic.

    2. click on the box 1 interaction drawn at the top of the image to READ MORE.

    3 interaction marquee training.

    4. close.

    5. I have a Click Box 2 cartoon above the button interaction CLOSE.

    6. I have items 3 and 4 together to form GROUP_1.

7 GROUP_1 is set to NO VISIBLE output.

    8. click on box 1 has defined action so that the success is to see THE GROUP_1.

    9. click on box 2A action defined for that success it is HIDE GROUP_1.

    Here's what it looks like:

    screenshot.gif

When I saw my project, the first part works fine, I click on READ MORE and my scroll text box and a button CLOSE appear as they should. However, when I click the button CLOSE, it moves to the next slide instead of simply to hide the group.

Also, if I publish the project, the drop-down text box appear not at all. The button CLOSE pops up so when he is supposed to, but the space where the text box should appear does not display anything. I tried the consultation in Chrome Version 43.0.2357.132 m, 11 Version IE and Firefox v39. It seems to be related to the area of text scrolling in a group because I put a box of scrolling text on a separate screen and it shows well in all browsers.

So, I'm looking for advice, including at - it an easier way to achieve the goal of enabling/disabling of the scrolling text box on and off the screen? TIA!

    Dee

One thing you need to know using unique actions on objects interactive such as click on boxes or buttons will also trigger an action to continue later by default.  This is probably why your slides advance when you don't want to.  To work around this problem, you must replace the shares you are currently using with stock Standard or conditional Actions that do the same thing.  They don't progress not the timeline unless you stipulate specifically action continues or a jump to slip as well.

  • How can I get around the global script protection in my CMS?

We enabled on our server global script protection CF.  I am the admin of right.  The tags it will search and replaces it with "invalidTag" are the ones who are in the file of neo - security.xml:

    object | IFRAME | incorporate | XSS | script | JavaScript | applet | Meta

However, we occasionally have to introduce these tags pages controlled by our CMS, which of course go in a database.  When this happens the tags are replaced by 'invalidTag '.

I want and need script enabled to prevent protection against pirates, but I also want to be able to add these tags to our local CMS.  What is the best way to get around this?  At the present time, I actually had to remove' object 'and 'integrate' in the list however it scans, but I feel that this will defeat the purpose.

When I googled this problem that I've seen a couple of hacks that had something to do with the re-write of the tag after he sent in the database, but that seems kind of varnish for me.  I wonder if I am missing a simple trick to get around this problem.  But then I suppose that if I could, a hacker could.

    Thanks for any advice.

Thank you for that clarification. I think that you said succinctly yourself: 'I actually had to remove' object 'and 'integrate' in the list it scans against, but I feel that this will defeat the purpose. I think it's a matter of weighing the risks and benefits and then make a choice.
