  I suppose you create a rectangle with the Rectangle tool, instead use the rectangle selection tool, m on the keyboard and fill with black, gray or white with your selected layer mask.

  I understand that you want videos you have on your MacBook Pro to add to your iPad.  Synchronization is a way to do it, but if you've never synced to your iTunes library before, you will get the message that you see.  The first thing I would say is that you back up your iPad if you do not already so.

  Then try a different approach to file sharing between your devices.  It is called AirDrop, and here's how it works:

  the great thing about cc is that you can disconnect from your other computers using your 3rd computer.

  That is to say, when you try to connect to a 3rd computer cc app prompts you to disconnect from your other two.  do it and you're able to use your 3rd computer.  It's so easy and fast there is no significant advantage to avoid disconnection.

  I can't even envisage a legal situation where you would like to more than one cc for any one user license.  You can install on computers of upteen, but only be connected to, at most, two at a time.

  and you can't use your programs cc on two different computers at any time.  so I can't imagine a situation where more than 1 license would be useful.
