How can I change my dvd back to Windows Media Player association?

CyberLink Power DVD Ultra 11

I installed a Pioneer Bd writer and had to have the software to read BD disc.  I have installed Cyberlink Power DVD Ultra 11.  There are no questions on the installation who asked me if I wanted to play any type of disc with Power DVD.

This is what is happening.  No disc starts with Windows Media Play not yet regular DVD or CD.  They all raise Power DVD.

I have my default player for Windows Media Player, but that makes no difference.

Thank you

Tom

Files

I agree that he should have asked you which types to associate the files, but you should be able to re - join those you want with WMP just by right clicking on one of them in Windows Explorer and then selecting open with, choose default program & choosing WMP while checking that the box "always use this program...". "is defined [always, that's when even I think that].

[Open the dialog box can be a little misleading.]  [If WMP is not one of the choices available to you, look immediately under these choices & there is a small arrow down which will reveal many more choices including WMP].

You will need this procedure for each type of file you want to associate to WMP again.

Discs

You will also need to go into Control Panel, Autoplay set discs to use WMP again.

  • How can I change the default startup screen in Media Player 9, to the media library

After reformatting my HD and reinstall a bunch of stuff, I've updated the Media Player 9.  I am running XP Pro and want to know how I can change the default to the media library start screen?  Much nicer visually that always have to play a very, very long time.

    ================================
Win 7 includes software for copying DVDs.
Windows DVD Maker can create a video DVD

First copy of DVD VIDEO_TS folder on your desktop.

Now you will need some software. The free software CDBurnerXP

    on the DVD.

    CDBurnerXP: Create a video DVD

Here is a copy of the steps:

Start CDBurnerXP, select a new data disc.
Go to 'File'-> "Vidéo DVD Layout" in the menu.

Now select the folder that contains the video
DVD files and select "Create image film.

Now burn the disc as you normally would.
You choose, in order to finalize the disc.

    That should do it...

  • How can I access my music files through Windows Media Player?

    OK, here's the facts:
    I have Windows Vista.
Most of my music in my music is missing.
I can view and listen to the music of "missing" in Windows Media Player (library).
In Windows Media player, if I click on a song and 'open file location' need me for my music, and the file is not there.
Looking for songs via the start menu or through my computer does not work.
MP3 audio files are also missing.

Not having access to the original files, I can't add music files individually to my mp3 (Windows Media Player lets you synchronize files only, and I don't want to lose a part of the 'missing' files I have on my mp3 using the Sync feature).

How can I access my music? Clearly, it is still on my computer somewhere since I can play through Windows Media Player.

    Hello

Step 1: Check what all records are controlled by the player. Then check these records, if the music file is present.

  • How can I play the audio stream with Windows Media Player 11 AAC?

    Hello

I want to listen to a live stream of a Shoutcast radio station which is in AAC format. I want to play with my Windows Media Player 11 on Windows XP SP3. I still don't play. It seems that it is not supported by WMP 11, but if missing a codec, it should be automatically downloaded from Microsoft, since the option "Download codecs automatically" is checked in the options of WMP, and my security level in Internet Options is set by default.

Y at - there a way or a codec plugin, so I can play the stream AAC on WMP 11?

    Thank you.

    Assem

Orban AAC/aacPlus Plugin will allow WMP 11 to play AAC streams. Note that you have to replace the http stream with icyx URL part, so to read your example AAC stream, you must enter icyx://109.234.157.154:2012 in WMP, via file - Open URL... • How can I import playlist .pla files to Windows Media Player?

I sync between my computer and my (old) mp3 a Philips something or other (I know if this is important). For some reason half of my playlists no longer appear on WMP. However, their corresponding .pla file is always on my mp3 player. I understand that .pla files are empty, but the link to the device and of course db under properties, I see that the pla files contain all the correct tracks. I want to restore these playlists on WMP. Please, is it possible to import these? I tried syncing my mp3 player to my computer by this is not not possible to drag and drop playlists.

Can you still see the missing playlists on your hard drive?

You can use Windows search to search for *.wpl and *.m3u, which should bring them up if they have not been deleted. In addition, please check the trash.

  • How can I get MP3 songs play in Windows Media Player 9?

I downloaded and installed (I think) several different codecs that are intended to enable MP3, but none of my songs will play in media Player9 operator.  When I convert WMA files into MP3 files using Switch, the songs sound file converter converted won't play either.

Turns out I had a bad installation of the windows operating system.  I did a new install and now everything is as it should be.

The ability to rotate the screen image is a characteristic of your video
card, to help work with instructors who turn to the portrait
orientation. Almost certainly you accidentally pressed Ctrl-Alt, and
    an arrow key.

    Rotate using these keys.

How can I change a 'Album' back to a 'folder '?

    Hanover wrote:

This means that a "record" has been changed in an "album", which makes no sense at all.

To simplify, you understand that the folders on your computer are the place where your media files are written on your hard drives.

You don't understand what a 'album' is. It is only a list of files in a particular order. An album does contain not any file (they are on your disk files), it's just a list, similar to a "playlist" for audio files. The albums are stored in the catalog.

There is way to create an album by selecting the files in the organizer and eventually they sort in the order you want. You can create several albums containing a file: the file will not be duplicated, only a link to its unique location is enrolled in the various "albums". Deleting files in the list, deleting albums won't change anything for the real files.

You can select the files to include in an album by individually selecting, selecting them by keyword or advanced search, or simply by selecting the files in a folder in the "Files" Panel It doesn't "change" files into albums.

However, once you have an album, the organiser is able to select all the files and 'export as new files' in a new catalog empty. This duplication is the closest thing to the transformation of an album in a folder... (do not change back, though).

Pogo.com put the window solution for their games. The easy way to make larger screens is simply by changing your screen resolution. See this link
