  • How can I change the impression of Firefox settingson a mac? Specifically, the "Frames" option

    When I try to print the selection page in Firefox on my Mac, it prints the selection where it appears on the page.
    In the print menu, there is a section of frames that is shaded by the selection of "as defined on the screen. How can I change this setting?

    #1: When I try to print the selection page in Firefox on my Mac, it prints the selection where it appears on the page.

    Yes, this can be inconvenient in some cases. One solution is to remove the other content on the page and then print the selected content normally (instead of using selection). To remove the content, you can use this extension:

    https://addons.Mozilla.org/firefox/addon/Nuke-anything-enhanced/

    As shown in the screenshots on the page, right-click on the selection and choose delete everything else.

    #2: In the menu printing, there is a section of frames that is shaded by the selection of "as defined on the screen. How can I change this setting?

    If frames section is dimmed, which indicates that Firefox did not detect frames on the page. Most sites use no frames, although many use iframes (inline frames). If you need to simply print the contents of an iframe, try right-clicking on the framed area and use

    This Frame > Print Frame...

  • How can I change the language in firefox 18.0.2?

    I downloaded firefox... but it came with other language rather than English... How can I change?

    You have downloaded the US version?

    You can do a clean reinstall and remove the Firefox program folder before reinstalling a new copy of Firefox.

    Download a fresh US copy of Firefox and save the file to the desktop.

    Uninstall your current version of Firefox, if possible, the settings in the software security and cleaning of the Windows registry.

    • Do NOT remove the data personal when you uninstall your current version of Firefox, because all profile files will be deleted and you will also lose your personal data such as bookmarks and passwords from other versions of Firefox profiles.

    Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

    Your bookmarks and other profile data is stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a uninstall and (re) install, but make sure that 'delete personal data' is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.

    If you keep problems also create a new profile.

     * { background-color: #EFEFEF; }
    }

    @-moz-document url(about:config){

  • How can I change the bookmarks in Firefox 9.0.1

    When I upgraded to version 9.0.1, Firefox converted my favorites and suggested a number of them to the low "Unsorted Bookmarks". At present, the only way to bring them back on the list and get an alphabetical sort them, it is move one at a time, which is unacceptable. Not only that, but if I go to the library (how to get there, I might add, is completely counterintuitive.) bookmarks I speak do not appear yet. Something like this used fixing be trivial; now, it seems impossible. Does anyone know a quick way to do it?

    You can select multiple items in the usual way with the cursor to move down or with a SHIFT left-click and right-click Ctrl left or Ctrl + A to select all.
