  I recently started to see a pop for Firefox iOS and Android advertising when I use Firefox on Windows 7. It takes the form of a notification, just bar below the URL bar read 'bring your bookmarks and passwords with you. Firefox is now on iOS and Android', with a 'Get it now' button and an 'x' to close right (see screenshot attached). I've closed more than once with the 'x' and it keeps popping up (perhaps only once per session, I don't know).

Adblock Plus doesn't help, of course, because the announcement seems to be integrated into the browser itself. Anyone know how to stop this thing nagging me everytime I open my browser?

  Will you continue to use computers or are you get rid of one of them? If you want to get rid of one, you should take a look at backup and restore Firefox profiles information. It will show you how to backup everything in Firefox then you can restore on your new computer.

  If you have decided to keep both computers and their use, I'd take a glance at Firefox Sync. It allows you to share your data safely on your computers and keeps them synchronized.
