How can I email Facebook Firefox images?

As a computer support person, I spent a lot of people from other browsers Firefox, often touting the Firefox interface is more similar to Internet Explorer than the other choices. This customer question puzzled me, though, and I could not find a solution for it. Rather than exploring other browsers, it's my last-ditch effort to reach a solution of Firefox.

In Internet Explorer to browse Facebook, people can right-click on an image and send the photo to a person (family, friends, etc.). I can't find any way to duplicate this functionality in Firefox. I'm going to other sites (tested on the homepage of Yahoo!) and I can click right into Firefox and send the picture. In Facebook, no dice. (This may be more a problem of Facebook, but I want to check with you first people.)

I can't find an add-on that will do it. This seems odd, because apparently a lot of people like to have this ability. Any ideas or suggestions? DMS

Just to confirm the problem:

  • "Send Image" does not appear on the context menu
  • "Send Image" appears but does not work properly

If the menu item is missing, the other specific points of the image appear, for example:

  • See the Image
  • Copy the Image
  • Copy the location of the Image
  • Save the Image under

Or you can find:

  • Display Background Image

If none of the persons appear, there may be an overlap in front of the image. Firefox do not right click through the transparent layers that the way IE.

Usually if you run the image in the Viewer (where it appears on the timeline with a comments on the right box) then the usual actions of image should be listed.
