How can I fix a problem of Message Authentication Code

Firefox just make me upgrade to 13.0.1 and now I can't find on google, yahoo, ixquick and startpage. Whenever I do, I get this:

The secure connection failed

An error occurred during a connection to startpage.com.

SSL received a disc with an incorrect Message Authentication Code.

(Error code: ssl_error_bad_mac_read)

I tried to reinstall, install older versions and troubleshooting pages, but nothing works. I can go to Web sites that I have Favorited or those that I have links too, but I can't just use the search bars. All I have this problem and know how to fix?

Who issued the certificate?

You can retrieve the certificate and check details such as WHO issued the certificates and the expiration dates of certificates.

  • Click on the link at the bottom of the error page: "I understand the risks".

Let Firefox recover the certificate: "Add Exception"-> "get certificate".

  • Click on the "view..." button. "and inspect the certificate and the Coachman, who is the sender.

You can see more details like the intermediate certificates that are used in the details pane.

Do a check with some malware malware, analysis of programs on the Windows computer.

You need to scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.

Alternatively, you can write a check for an infection rootkit TDSSKiller.
