How can I fix updates that do not update, but keep trying to update?

5 same updates update everyday, or if it says "update successful". How updates without FRY? The updates are: KB2418241-KB983583-KB982524-KB979909-and KB982168. They are all for .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 and 3.5 SP1 except KB982168 and is for 3.5 SP1. Each of them have (x 86) at the end. It's the first time that this has happened so please forgive my ignorance. • How can I fix computer that does not start after the fan turns phase?

I have a Compaq Presario SR5510F PC, Windows Vista Home Premium, AMD Athlon x 2. Lately, my computer is even worse at the start. When my computer starts, the fan should run for a few seconds, then it should stop and lead at the start with Compaq logo screen. But lately, the startup was completely terrible for my computer. Today, most of the time when I press the button in the box of the computer, the fan turns on and it continues to turn, and nothing comes on the screen. It isn't that rarely when the fan stops running, but then the monitor displays always upwards in white and VERY rarely when the startup screen appears, then it freezes on this screen. At this rate, my computer is totally useless when it does nothing but run his fan. This means that I can not go to boot options at all and go to the "last good configuration". What can I do to fix the computer when I can't have anything with her while she is empty?

It sounds like a hardware problem, not a software problem.  If the computer rarely gets past the BIOS (material audit) stage of the startup sequence, then Windows is is not yet involved in the boot process again.  Request assistance from someone trained in the skills of troubleshooting hardware since this can become very expensive very quickly.

The ability to rotate the screen image is a characteristic of your video
card, to help work with instructors who turn to the portrait
orientation. Almost certainly you accidentally pressed Ctrl-Alt, and
    an arrow key.

    Rotate using these keys.

How can I stop mail that is NOT marked as spam to be sent to my Junk folder? In some cases, it's the messages that were once reported as junk that I scored is NOT undesirable. in other cases, it's the messages that have never been reported as spam, but are sent to the junk e-mail folder. Same recipients over and over.

    I'm running OS X 10.11.3

I can't find a way to mark a message in my junk as e-mail folder as not junk.  Some versions of Mac OS x there is there a way to mark a message as "not junk".  Every once in a while I find valid messages hidden in my Junk folder.  There is no indication in the help on how to mark them "not junk" (usually help isn't much help!).  I see that no one has replied to your message, Nix-649.  Google talks about it, but nothing is very recent. • How can I find photographs that are not assigned to any collection?

    Hello!

    I use LR 5.7.1 on a Mac.

When I've airbrushed raw with PS CC images (and do not need file PSD more) I export the PSD (which is in my catalog) in JPG format and let it automatically add to my catalog. After that, I remove the PSD file. Which works very well.

But... the new JPG file is not assigned to any collection. This is no problem unless I forgot to do it manually after export (and import).

This brings me to my question.

How can I find photographs that are not assigned to any collection?

I tried with a smart collection after I found nothing suitable in the filter library. The search criteria, I tried are Source-> Collection with any of the conditions. One with an empty field, then with just a space and so on.

Does anyone have a good tip for me?

    Thomas

You can also add numbers if you have collections that do not use characters of the alphabet.

  • How can I fix my XP do not go to Setup boot sequence

Somehow I messed up my boot sequence and now whenever I start, he goes to the selection of the F2 to enter setup or F1 to continue.  It seems works continue, but of course, I have an error in something.

    My windows is XP

Anyone have a suggestion on how to restore my startup?

    Doug

The seemingly obvious solution is to hit the F2 key to enter setup and fix everything that is bad.  The BIOS settings are closely related to the motherboard and vary a lot.  Some allow re-scan devices and then save the setting.  It seems that there is a setting in the BIOS that the system doesn't seem to like when it starts.  You just need find and fix.

  • How can I clone a Dell Windows 8 machine but keep the activation

I did a lot of reading and there seems to be a lot of confusion on how to actually do.

There is no Windows 8 sticker on the back of the Dell printer.

When installing it the disc the machine starts and is already enabled.

We are eager to sysprep machine that we used the disk and then using clonezilla, a clone of this image of 'gold' to all other machines.

If someone managed to do it please give me a step-by-step procedure.

I already wiped the original and re-installed Dell operating system with the disk that does not have a key. The machine is turned on.

  • How can I delete files that will not be clear without "permission"?

I have a BACKUP folder on my drive C dating back to 2005, and who comes from another computer (XP). The record contains three, which in turn have subfolders and files. Security of the backup folder hidden controls on all ALLOW bos (inherited from the C drive) and so do its subfolders, but the lowest-level files do not have boxes to ALLOW or REMOVE permissions and add & DELETE buttons are shaded on (inioperable).

I read the information displayed under «I need permission for everything and don't know how to get it...» "dating from fevrier.09 onward and apparently their solution (and probably mine) is not yet available.  I am a Vista Home Premium 32-bit user and agree with comment abouit Vista of those displaying the site in question.

I add my question in the hope that someone, somewhere will respond with something that works for this problem.

    Hi delrayjack,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft answers Community Forums.

Have you tried other methods to delete folders? You can try to give permissions to the entire folder. However first to disable the user first, and then access control give permission.

To give permissions to try the procedure below

    1. right click on the file (Context menu is displayed.)

    2. Select 'Properties' ("[name of folder] properties" dialog box appears.)

    3. click on the security"" tab.

    4. click on the 'Advanced' button (advanced security settings for [name of folder] appears.)

    5. click on the tab "owner".

    6. click on the button "Edit".

    7. click on the name of the new owner in box "a change in ownership to.

    8. click on the box to check "Replace owner of subcontainers and objects".

    9. click on the apply"" button. ("Evolution of the property of...") ("progress message appears.)

    10. click on 'Yes' to acknowledge the warning "Windows Security".

    11. click on OK to close the "Advanced security settings" dialog box to the foreground.

    12. click on 'Permissions' tab (first tab) on the dialog box "Advanced security settings" current.

    13. click on the button "Edit".

    14. Click to select the administrator in the box "permission entries.

15 NOTE: If 'Administrator' appears more than once, select one that has 'Subfolders and files only' in the column ' applies to.

    16. click on the button to change. ("Permission to [folder name] entry" dialog box appears.)

17 click to see the option "apply these permissions to objects...". ».

18 click to check ALL the boxes in the column "allow".

    19. click 'OK' (dialog box closed, return to the "Advanced security settings" dialog box.)

20 click to see the option 'include permissions inheritable... '. ».

21 click to see the option "replace all existing inheritable permissions...". ».

    22. click on the apply"" button. (Confirmation dialog "Windows security" is displayed.)

23 click on 'Yes' to confirm that you want to continue.

24 watch progress indicator on the "Windows security: definition of security... information. "dialog box.

    25. when information security has been applied, the indicator dialog box will automatically close progress.

    26. you are now in the dialog box "Advanced security settings for [name of folder]"... the "Permissions" tab should be visible.

    27. click on 'OK' and the dialog box closes, revealing the previous dialog box.

28 click on 'OK' and the dialog box closes, revealing the "Properties" dialog box

    29. click on 'OK' and the 'Properties' dialog box farm

30 return to Windows Explorer and delete the folder.

You can also try to remove it from the command prompt and check

    1. disable user account control

    Delete the file

Tun back user account control on

    2. start | type Cmd.exe | Right click on cmd.exe in the list of programs directly above. Select run as administrator

Navigate to the directory that contains the file that you want to remove (using the CD command).

Delete the file using the DEL command.

Use the EXIT command to close the command window

Another way to delete the folders is the mode of WinRe.

-To start the computer into WinRE mode, insert the Vista CD in the CD tray, restart the computer.

-When you are prompted to "press any key to boot from the CD-ROM..." Press ENTER.

-Select the language by default, click Next.

    -Select "repair your computer".

-Select command prompt and type the commands to delete the file or Notepad type, which will open Notepad, and then click file > select open and from there, navigate to the location of the files and try to delete

    I hope this helps. .

  • How can I fix my "iDRAC is not ready' problems?

We have a PowerEdge R420 running a server VMware ESXi 5.1 in RAID mode.

We had a power failure which resulted in obtaining R420 one ' SWC0700: iDRAC is not ready "error.  Our version of setting iDRAC is 1.30.30.27.  I found the report on the iDRAC reset and update the firmware of the iDRAC with this version and error state.  Following suggestions to disconnect power cables, USB cables and then keeping the power button for 15 seconds until not clearly the problem.  Boots following this process had the same error of SWC0700.

I created an OSMA7.1 DVD boot and I tried to install, a USB drive, different versions of newer than 1.30 iDRAC, but every time that the system has reported/proc/ipmi/0 /: file not found (or something similar that I'm going on memory here).

I needed the system upward, so I pressed F1 to continue to run.  The system seems well except that the fans turn at high speed.

I saw another post on the button of the iDRAC for 15 seconds to reset the iDRAC, and I tried with the system in place and is functioning normally.  This did nothing for the speed of the fan, so I guess it has no effect on iDRAC.

I installed the COnsole of Administration Dell, on the ESXi virtual machine in the hope of launching an upgrade of firmware iDRAC of this virtual machine, but I couldn't connect to vCenter, which is probably because I don't have a VCenter server, only two servers ESXi 5.1 - I think I misread the DELL site thought this could work somehow for me.

Now, I think the performance of the ISO bootable, I found on this Web page: www.dell.com/.../SLN296511
My fear is that something can go wrong, and I'm losing my server installation.

If I put my confidence in the ISO bootable update?  Should I call Dell support - I am about 4 months out of warranty repair technician on-site - and plan to replace my motherboard as I read in other posts on this forum?  The motherboard can be replaced without altering my ESXi installation?

I'm worried that runs the server with a "iDRAC is not ready" error will burn the server, or do anything else that will ruin the server.  Should I still worry about this?

Thanks for the advice and suggestions in advance.

    The f

It sounds like the replacement of parts is necessary. There is not a way to export the configuration of the BIOS. The fee for a replacement of tech is usually $299 for servers, plus the cost of the system board. I'm not sure what would be an extension of one year on the guarantee.
