How can I force users to enter the particular format?

I am using Livecycle Designer ES2 ships with Acrobat X Pro.

I have a form where the field is calculated from the date of birth field.  The date of birth field (DDN) is a date/time field.  Age (Age) is a numeric field.

Problem is: when the user enters on 01/01/01 shows age as 101.  When the user between 01/01/2001 age shows 1.  All models are set to dd/mm/yyyy.  Is it possible to forbid the user to continue to the next field until the correct format is entered?  I am open to all ideas that will achieve the result desrired.  I am new to livecycle and javascript.  I suspect an easy solution, but I can't seem to find during research, forums, or the help of LD menu.

I have attached the script to the field where it is useful.

Age::calculate - (JavaScript, client)

Age of the value in the result field.

In the output event from the date of the birth box set (in formcalc):

then under object > value just make sure you put a message in the 'Message Validation model"saying something like:"enter the date in the format MM/DD/YYYY ".

    a. How can I force APEX to use the specific schema: APEX_040100 instead of APEX_040200?

    b. or are there other alternatives to assign these workspaces in the current environment?

    • Yet, as I had a little corrupted environment Apex after import (impdp), COMPREHENSIVE database this method of revocation (above) has failed several times to me.
    • Here's what I have (solves the problem):
    • Deleted APEX_040200 Apex 4.2 installation().
    • Text left in DB is the only APEX_040100
    • Then, the version 5.0.3 and it worked!

    More importantly, after the installation of APEX, all workspaces, users, etc. are automatically correctly resided in APEX.
    • I think that if you have only 1 version of apex corrupted in DB. It should work as well. Remove again, schema using the above script (check version) with caution (after backup, etc.).

  • How can I force a reset of the device?

    My code crushes several modules and also makes changes to the Group module that contains these modules.  I then calls CodeModuleManager.promptForResetIfRequired (), but the BB do not think that a reset is required.  (I also called CodeModuleManager.IsResetRequired (), and he returned false.

    However the new modules I've written are not taking effect until after the BB is reset (I've tested by removing the battery).

    How can I force a reset of the device from my Java code?

    These steps can help as well:

    Delete the mimeTypes.rdf file in the Firefox profile folder to reset all the actions file.

    Set the pref pdfjs.disabled true on the topic: config page to disable the build-in the PDF Viewer.

    Check the value of pref plugin.disable_full_page_plugin_for_types on the topic: config page and delete the application/pdf if it is present, or reset the default pref via the context menu.

    I don't believe it. The simplest solution would be to call the DateTime in seconds function, extract the resulting month value of the cluster then use a lookup table to determine the name of the month.

    The table of correspondence could be as simple as a multiline string is indexed with the Line Pick function using months as the row index.

    You can not force it really, but you can encourage it... For example, you can set the file read-only and add a statement to do it before the file is saved using a script.
