  My laptop (Satellite L300 - 18 d) has been seriously infected by viruses, all corrupt. I need to resinstall Vista but do not have the restore disc. After searching around, I managd to download a restore disk of some sites, but when I used this disc, it gave me an error code which meant the product key was wrong. I used the product key from the bottom of the laptop (I trust this is an OEM). So I guess I need a restore disk that works with my OEM product key.

  How can I get the restore disc that will work with my OEM license?

  Also, I tried to install XP on my laptop, but it kept giving me a message saying that it could not detect the hard drive, there is nothing wrong with the hard drive, I tested it on another laptop.
