How can I get an id of administrator in XP?

I added a new administrator user, then changed my Admin original non-admin.  Now when I sign on only my old user is the only one available and I can't change anything because I'm no longer a Director.  What should I do?

As you use Windows XP, when you see the login screen, press Alt + Ctrl + Del (twice). This will take you to the classic login screen. There, type your administrator ID, password and login. Once logged in, go to control panel-> user accounts-> change the way users log on or power off and deselect use the Welcome screen.

It will be useful,
See you soon!

-> Ask a friend to burn a CD repair system for you (Control Panel / backup and restore). Now to use this CD to start the machine in Repair Mode, and then use the system restore to set Windows to a point before you downgrade your one and only the admin account.

When you're done, plan ahead a little and create, test and document a spare, even admin account that you have a spare House key. This will save you a lot of trouble.

    Hello Andrew,.

Even if we cancel your free account, your company admin account will still not be able to add you as a user. We can go directly to your free account of the company's main account and for that, can you inbox me email address registered to your and your admin? Please don't share it on the public forum.

I have a designed iWeb site I need to update. I know I can't use iWeb so want to design and publish a new Web site. I want to use my current domain name. How can I get rid of the existing site?

So, you want to delete this Web site. That's right?
If so, you can make trought accessing the website 'admin panel' or 'FTP '.

An administration panel (or "administration panel") is a site that your host/domain provides to you, where you can change everything you want - even is for 'FTP', 'FTP' is a server where you access your Web site and change what you want, and that includes delete the current Web site.

  • How can I get edition gold painkiller on windows 7 rc to work

How can I get the gold edition of painkiller to work on 7rc I confirm to run the .exe as administrator but it's all the disc turns, but nothing happens

and how do the xp to work mode

    Hello KizentheSlayer,

Thank you for posting.  Painkiller is a somewhat dated game, you will have more than likely install on VirtualXP so that it works correctly.  To get VirtualXP to work, you will need to download it.  you need to get the VirtualPC for your version of Win7 (32 or 64-bit) and the corresponding VirtualXP.  I have included the link below where you can get it.

  • How can I get back Admin rights no one has them on the computer?

How can I get back Admin rights no one has them on the computer

IIRC, you cannot delete the built-in account named 'Administrator', so check first to see if it's really over:

If you have XP Pro, then press CTRL + ALT + DELETE twice at the Welcome screen

If you have XP Home (or XP Pro), restart mode without fail (repeatedly press F8 startup just after reboot) and the administrator account must be indicated on the Welcome screen.

Unless you have changed it, the password for the built-in Administrator account is blank (no password).

Once you sign in as an administrator, go to control panel > users and create a new account with administrative privileges (or give these rights to an account existing).  Do not use the built-in for common daily tasks administrator account.

How can I get rid of a pop-up again warning "your CODEC is obsolete?

    Hello

    1. when exactly you get this error message?

    2. don't you make changes to the computer until the problem occurred?

    3. have you installed any third-party codec on your computer? If so, try to update the code.

If you get this error message when starting your computer then I would you put your computer in a clean boot state, and check to see if the same problem happens.

By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow step 7 in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

Follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click on start toreduce this top that i, type msconfig.exe in the Start Search box and press ENTER.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click continue.

    (b) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (c) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click restart.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Drive mapping: How can I get my external drive be mapped to F: (as he was once) rather than g: which is what happens when I turn on now.

How can I get my external drive be mapped to F: (as he was once) rather than g: which is what happens when I turn on now.  I tried to unplug and power, reboot etc.  There is no F: drive connected to the computer.

Go to start / Control Panel / administrative tools / computer management / "disk management and select external reader by clicking on it and then right-click on it and select change drive letter and paths."  It should show the letter currently assigned (G I guess).  Click the button change.  To the right will be a drop of drive letters box.  Go ahead and select F and click on OK.  That should do it. If F is not available, then it is used by the system for something else.  Check disk management to see if you can find it.  If it is not, and is not available in the list, I'm afraid, you will not be able to change until find you what is using drive letter F and remove it, or change it to something else.

I hope this helps.  If this isn't the case, after return and we will try to understand what is using F or why it is not available.

    Good luck!
