  I'm afraid, but you can't do that. Your product key Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) should be used only for the laptop which came with it.

  Should be no problem at all if you use the version of Windows 8 EVEN because the product key is now embedded in the BIOS of the machine. The process is to get the right installation of Windows 8 media (DVD, USB, downloaded file) and then install on your client computer. No label/sticker more for all new machines with Windows pre-installed 8.

  If it is indeed a complete Windows 7 Pro commercial license, then you should have no problem of reactivation in the new machine - however, there may be problems with the drivers and you should check the Web site of the manufacturer for the appropriate drivers for Windows 7
