  Photoshop CS5 to read files from Nikon D750 to atleast Camera Raw 8.7 or higher.

  However, I believe that you would not be able to update Camera Raw, so you can download and install the DNG Converter and convert the files to DNG.

  Please follow the steps below to reset the Photoshop preferences.

  > Hold down the SHIFT key, command and Option (in Mac) or shift, Ctrl, and Alt (Windows) key and click on the Photoshop CS5 icon until you get a dialog box to delete the settings of Photoshop file.

  > Click Yes to it.

  Note: Using the hotkey, preference files for custom shortcuts, workspaces, and color settings will also reset to the default.

  Also, please mention the operating system you are using.

  CR2 does not define a raw format, it is the family of Canon raw file. All Canon cameras has its own format.

  I don't know how it works on a Mac, but with Windows, you access the photoshop.exe file in the programs under Adobe folder and whatever PS version you have. Right-click on this file and select "create shortcut". Then drag it to your desktop.

  With your photos on an external drive and a new version of the items in another computer, I would be the easier and faster way of moving your PSE11 catalog on the external drive and the organizer of PSE13 allows to convert the PSE11 catalog.

  In more detail:

  -I guess that your catalog is in its default location on your old computer. PSE11, use the menu File\Manage catalogues and use the 'Move' option to move the current catalog in a new folder in your external drive. Do not move the root folder or in a subfolder in the master folder that contains your photos. For example, create a folder like "MyPSE11Cat" just under the folder root. Moving the catalog should not take long.

  -Next, open the Organizer in the new computer and use the same dialog file/manage catalogs. Click on the 'convert' button and navigate to the new location of the catalog PSE11. The conversion will create a new catalog in the format PSE13.

  I don't know if a stylus would help all mainly because of the way Windows handles touch events and stylus events * except * the stylus in question has been effectively supported by Photoshop. (I know not glib here, other than those that come with such as Wacom graphics tablets). I know you can paint by clicking on the left button on the trackpad to a laptop, and then paint with the pen or with your finger. Of course, it would probably be uncomfortable.

  If you do not find a stylus taken in charge, I would still say a graphics tablet, just for the sensitivity to pressure.
