  I understand that after you upgrade to El Capitan yesterday, you see a badge notification for FaceTime and you want to get rid of it.  If you open system preferences > Notifications on your MacBook Air and then scroll to the bottom and select FaceTime, you can disable the feature icon App Badge.

  What you seem to have a bookmarks without all the bookmarks toolbar.

  Make sure you have this check box from the toolbar of bookmarks
  View > toolbars

  Use "Ctrl + B" to bring up the bookmarks in the sidebar.

  Can drag you across the message in the Outbox overview to get the Red delete button? It's been a while since I had paste an email in the Outbox, so I don't remember if that's possible.

  With iOS 10, if you see the widget screen by sliding the lock screen is normal and how the new iOS.  It is more action 'slide to unlock' available in iOS 10.
