  I have Windows Vista Home Premium, and I've had it for 5 years now (2006-) the problem is that I don't know what happened, but when it restarts, I have two options;

Finally, a list of appropriate actions appear;

  Startup Repair; I tried this 8 times now, and he cannot find a solution, leading me to reboot once more.
  System restore; I tried ALL the dates of the restoration, and none of them worked. I got an error saying: it cannot restore.
  Restore the computer; 1. I don't have a backup drive (it's a shame, I know) and 2. I don't want back up and lose all my files.
  Windows Memory Diagnostic tools; I checked all hardware error, and none have been found.
  Command prompt; I don't know what to do with it.

  If someone can PLEASE help me, I would be VERY grateful. I have very old memories and photos on this computer and I don't want to lose these. I am begging for someone to help me, and my last priority would be to forget all these photos and files and move: (.) Oh and I tried running safe mode, by pressing F8 while the computer restarts and I've highlighted Mode safe mode with networking, but it gives a quick overview of a blue screen just and hangs on reboot.   Method 1: Try to disable automatic reboot in the menu start-up advanced options, and then try to capture the blue screen error message, see the link below:

  Method 2: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...)  Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

  If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.  Then get any drivers\software update for the device.

  After disconnecting all external devices, run the Startup Repair
