How can I get the NIC IP of a host?

How can I get the IP address of a NETWORK adapter for the host.

You are right. If you connect to ESX, you will always get NULL. You can use either COS IP IP of the kernel or both for display.

If it is a hosted solution, your phyical WHAT NIC is controlled by the underlying operating system that assigns IP address.
