How can I import files NDF Nikon?

G ' Day,.

First post here, using LR3.2. I am new to LR but familiar with the concepts and meet a great tool.

A glaring omission, it seems he doesn't know Nikon NDF files during import and about every other time. (For the non-Nikonians, are pictures of dust reference that can be used to remove dust from sensor artifacts). I know that LR has no idea how to work with it, but I would like to be able to do an import and get all my camera turned off and in the same folder. Is it possible to include additional file types?

I have searched the forum and searched the net and was very surprised that no one seems to have asked this. Or am I missing something obvious?

Any input appreciated,

Mike

OK - I couldn't resist.

I wrote an importer with a custom click that I now use for all my imports.

It has the peculiarity that it will capture your NDF files or TXT files, or anything else you want to while its home.

What I like more, on this subject, is that there is a separate menu for each device item, and if the names of files contained on the card matches the type of camera, then it's a no-go - so I can't import inadvertently using incorrect settings. Since Lightroom can't remember my import presets nor combine with anything on the map, it's a big plus for me.

Another thing that that you might like, is that the conversion of file name can be anything you can dream, you provided are willing to change the conversion from lua function contained in the configuration file of the text, OR are ready to ask me what you want.

Warm sound off - the press as of 2010-09-12 and the configuration of your camera is via a lua configuration file. If its too intimidating and you are not willing to ask me to do it for you, then this plugin is not for you. This may change over time. But I thought you might want to get started right away.

Personally, I love it! -C' is just what I need - a single click.

PS - Documentation is currently non-existent. But you can ask me by PM stuff until I'm ready to document.

Enjoy,

Rob

    Hello

    Greetings!
For Nikon 810 files, you must at least 5.6 version of Lightroom.

You can convert raw files to DNG and might be able to import these files into Lightroom.

  • How can I import files in Lightroom 3 for Photoshop elements 8?

I just installed Lightroom 3 and bypassed the ability to import my photos from Photoshop elements 8 (to see what other options were available). Lightroom Advanced page and there seems to be no way to return to the previous page, I closed the page and reopened a few times.

I can't find where PSe8 stores its files either, so it's not an option. How can I reset lightroom to import my old files? Thank you.

I also see "upgrade files" but have no idea of what that means and do not see an explanation; a simple definition would be great. Thanks again!

In the library module, choose file > upgrade Photoshop elements catalog. This allows to convert the last open catalogue of PES in a LR catalog.

What is the destination folder that the date be underneath?  In the top right it says users who suggests, you try to put the photos on top of your username instead of under your username.  Maybe that's the problem.  So change your folder in the drop-down list at the bottom right of what it should be rather than users, and if you're going to show us the destination of your photos at least scroll through the list of folders down right so that we can see which is the white highlight.

  • How can I import and export MBOX files in Thunderbird?

Hi all, how can I import and export MBOX files in Thunderbird?

I tried to install the add-on "ImportExportTools" but it seems that it is no longer recognized by Thunderbird, not the most recent generation.

That this is the case, is no longer seems to be any official method of handling the files MBOX via Thunderbird, which is odd, given that Thunderbird itself announces that it is method of storage of email records is also MBOX files. It seems obvious that Thunderbird should natively support a file format import and export it is used internally

If you know of a solution that does not rely on the conversion of traditionally third party utilities little reliable, please let me know.

Hi there and thank you. I got it on 45.2.0.

"" I haven't managed to make it work, but only by the search for available modules and following a request from 'import export tools' the "see all results" that work only then produced a success for the plugin in question and showed a button to install it.

Installers hosted on the site of the third party do not work, nor their instructions to use the option "install file". work, which led to the creation of this ticket.

Since then, I was able to do properly installed where it works very well.

I hope that they are a regular feature. I intend to announce this as a best practice to my organization, in collaboration with Google fish, during the handling of the mbox files in Windows operating system.

    Thanks again, Kevin

Support for Nikon D800 ships began in Camera Raw version 6.7 and Lightroom 4.1. You will need to at least Photoshop CS5 or later or Lightroom 4.1 or later.

Your other option is to use the Free DNG Converter.

    Import playlist to Excel Powertoy
Import playlist to Excel PowerToy offers an easy way to import lists of audio and video (with the .asx extension) of the Microsoft Windows Media Player in a worksheet in Microsoft Excel 2002 or later.

After the playlist is imported into Excel, you can sort and retrieve information for each item in the list, including name, artist, genre, and bit rate of each file, sort and AutoFilter features in Excel. You can also export the file in HTML format to quickly create a Web page that contains a catalogue of all the audio and video in the playlist. In addition, you can draw and design of statistical information about the items in the playlist and use the information in other ODBC compatible programs (for example, Microsoft Access).

The use of this tool is a two-step process. First, you must prepare the reading list by exporting it from Windows Media Player. Then, you use Playlist import to Excel PowerToy to import the playlist into Excel.

To export a playlist in Windows Media Player:
In Windows Media Player, click Media Library, and then expand My Playlists to view playlists that you created.
Click the playlist you want to export.
On the file menu, click Export Playlist to file.
Select the folder where you want to save the file.
In file name, enter a name for the file and then click Save.

    Import playlist into Excel:
Click Start, point to programs, point to Windows Media Bonus Pack for Windows XP, and then click selection of import to Excel.
Depending on your security settings, you can get a security warning dialog box. If Yes, click on enable the Macros to continue.
Follow the instructions in the Windows Media Playlist import tool dialog box. (If you have already exported the playlist, you can skip step 3 in the import tool dialog box).

  • 1 of about 30 directories with JPEGs would not import into LR 5.7.  Operating system is Windows 10.  How can I import the missing directory?  I tried to import more precisely, but I get an error message on the format of the pix.

I had a directory on 5.7 LR, but she and everyone else on LR 5.7 got accidentally deleted.  I have re - import all but one of the missing directories.  One missing won't matter with DNG, added / COPY.  My OS is Windows 10.  How can I import this a directory.  I checked the properties of the missing directory with those who imported and they are all the same.

You can combine catalogs by opening the 'master' catalogue (the one that you want to contain ALL your photos) and then using the command file-> import from another catalogue and pointing to the catalog on the other. If there is more than one catalogue of 'other', this action must be repeated as many times as necessary.
