  I read in the documentation v3.2 you could lock multiple pages in an application by selecting "Page Locks" in the section "Tasks" to the right of the page after you have selected an application. I use v4.0.2.00.07 and the only options I have in the section tasks are 'Remove this Application', "Copy this Application" and "customize the display. The Page locks option has been moved or deleted in the v4? Or, is there an Admin setting that causes the Page locks to hide/show?

  Why not just remove the offending part of the path? Move the curvilinear straight ends or use the scissors tool to cut what you don't need.
