  I bought and installed Creative cloud photography Plan two weeks ago.  I Photoshop 2014.0.0 CC release. The Camera Raw plugin is 8.0.0.137 The Creative Cloud Desktop app says that Photoshop CC (2014) is up-to-date. Updates a link in Photoshop > help > updates is greyed. Adobe Web site, it seems that the latest version of Camera Raw is 8.6 Can anyone help me with some thoughts on why I have an earlier and version update to 8.6?

  Removal of Acrobat Pro has not solved the problem. It took one of the support associated with Adobe to modify some files on the PC.  Now works fine and everything to date.

  You can use the halftone, according to Pierre thread linked to, but the holes tend to be more square than round.

  

  Thus, in order to work for five minutes, I create a pattern and do it right.

  • Turn on the grid and place nine black discs as below with a hard brush completely

  

  • Make a new layer and fill it with black.
  • CTRL click on the layer and 9 points to load a selection with this selection in place, add a layer to the black layer mask you just made.
  • Invert the layer mask (Ctrl I)
  • Disable the layer of 9 points, and you should see this:

  

  • Make sure that snap to grid is enabled under the view menu, and then drag a rectangular through holes as selection below.  Do not forget that you deploy a repeating pattern, so we don't need that inner pixels.

  

  • Now Edit > Define model and your new pattern is made.  Give it a name (I used honeycomb)
  • Make a new layer and select the paint bucket.  In the Options bar set it on the ground. Find your model of honeycomb in the menu drop down and fill a new layer with it.

  

  If the model is too large, use the free transform to its size.  I have first of all to the large oversize, because the downsizing hiding any small errors

  

  I decided that your blue vaguely resembled a fuzzy polar bear.  To clean the outside of the honeycomb, add a layer mask to the layer bear and make a selection of the points of the half and fill it with black.

  

  I gave the right side of the layer honeycomb, a little blur to match your image, but I personally love the clean edges.

  You can use an interactive object (button, click box, form) and the command 'Open URL of file' and point to the cptx file. It is important that you keep all the files in the same folder and the path to the parent of the file. Publication, same scenario: keep everything in the same folder when downloading.   Independent of how this feature works, you want to have your photos in one place and have a backup (second copy) somewhere else. All hard drives will not be successful at some point - some more early, some late - never trust to have your files in any safety devices if they are on a single disc. Once you have your sorted, it would be useful that you will organize/name/tag new photos immediately if the task is relatively short and simple. I copy my photos on my internal hard drive for my camera, take a quick look with preview to see who needs some changes and then decide where to put them - either drop them immediately after naming them or bring in an editing application and then file them away.
