  -Deleted all my Temp files (as I normally do every week)

  -Defragment my hard drives (done weekly)

  -Deletion of all unused software

  -Bought and installed a new hard drive (1 TB) to use as storage for this Temp file

  -All cleared the Cache and Cookies on my Browser

  -Use of the memory of Photoshop to 70%

  -Uninstalled Photoshop (PC Shutdown) and then re-installed and the Temp file is always there and it is much bigger than before

  Basically, I tried everything I could.

  What happens is that this Photoshop Temp 12389772616 file (44.6 concerts and increasing) cannot be seen when Photoshop is active or running and can not be deleted under these circumstances. When Photoshop is closed, it disappears as well. I don't know what else to do about it. When I re - allocate what is called a virtual file/disk to another hard disk, Photoshop slows and crashes more... I was thinking of buying the new Photoshop CS 5, but I am now, NOT wanting to take the risk, but it has served me well for a year so far.

  : NB is there any way I can reduce the size of this file virtual (Temp) or completely remove?

  Processor - Dual Core (2.3 GHz)

  Operating system - Windows 7

  Hard disk space - 1 TB, 500 GB and 250 GB x 2 (space is not a problem)

  Just to clarify; is your main disk Scratch, named in Edit > Preferences > Performance an internal drive? If so, what is available on this subject?

  File slow opening is perhaps due to the default printer. This is a known bug and has been reported several times in the forum.

  I had to use Powershell to solve a problem with Windows 8.1 not too long ago, but I'm not familiar with how it works. Y at - it a similar script that I could run?   Nested templates.  Yuck.  Remove the 2nd template of your templates folder.

  Open your original template (DWT file).  Save as a new file (for example Template2.dwt) name.

  Change the model as needed.  Save again.

  You have now 2 independent models, you can use to spawn new pages.

  You are allowed to activate the software on two computers. If this is your second installation on the new machine, the software should assign without problem.

  It will be helpful if you could post the image and let us know if you try to remove blacks or black background of the image. You can try the following steps.

  • Select your layer.
  • Choose layer > layer Style > blending Options. (from the menu bar)

  

  • . If you want to hide a black background, drag the slider to highest point.

  

  There are other methods too.

  • Select > color range.  Use the eyedropper tool to select the black of your image, bring the Blur slider to zero - which allows to select only the black pixels. Then, you can fill these pixels with a different color. Refer to select ranges of colors in Photoshop

  Found, thanks to messages later in this thread, as I mentioned in the op. Here's what they suggest (you must use Photoshop):

  1. in Photoshop, select help > updates:

  

  2. click on 'Preferences' in the lower-right.

  

  3. uncheck the "Notify me of new updates on the menu bar". Then click on 'Ok '.
