  You will need to know what color depth of Windows 7, you need to get the right driver. Go to the Control Panel, select system, and when this window opens, the Bit depth is listed a few lines under the version of Windows you have, for example, under system type, it will say 64-Bit operating system.

  Thanks for the help.  Discovered that my security on the tools setting was set to medium-high heat.  Passed to way according to the instructions of the active-x and now able to access Windows updates.
