  If you have forgotten your password, if you have another user who has administrative privileges account you can log in to that account and change the password of your account of origin of the user accounts applet in Control Panel. If you do not have another account like this set upwards or that you do not have the password which you will need to log on to the built-in Administrator account.   You can go into the built-in Web (EWS) of the printer server and disable the application under the Administrator setting.  To prevent your children to access the built-in Web server, you can also set a password for the built-in Web server.  Here are the instructions:

  a. Enter the IP address of the printer in a Web browser (for example. IE, FireFox or Chrome)

  b. Select the tab 'Settings' (ignore any warning of web server certificate and continue)

  c. Select "Administrator settings" in the side menu

  d. uncheck 'Apps' and apply

  e. Select "Password settings" on the side menu

  f. Select a password for EWS and apply
