  Good reading and see if you think it's the same problem. If so and the choice of folder option certainly does not work for you, there are a few things to try to make up a batch file and it works from a simple sfc/scannow (I have not tried but it is marked as answer).

  If you suspect a virus, update your anti-virus software and run a full scan, then download, install, update and run a scan complete with (free) malwarebytes. Just run as free on demand, no need to check for any trial etc.

  I found that the Expert 'IT' (the laptop owners friends 17 years, son... Yes, if we all had a dollar for every time that it caused headaches...) had removed a lot of pre-installed software (Asus K53E) installed "Windows 7 Manager", ran different settings and seems to have stopped many services. He said that he had used black service guide also vipers, and once he had done all the hacks and tweaks and customizations, it took the W7M once it has completed leaving a few programs that are on the machine, so it was 'lightning fast'... * face palm *.
  It has Intel i3-2310 and 4 GB of Ram, the owner which accounts, the company uses only Word, Excel, box deposit and LogMeIn for remote use of its PC works...
  so... I assume that this would explain why these methods don't work, than to go on what you advised, I had already checked all except the patch, the problem still persists.
  I should have checked the services during my first puzzle of really, but got it works by ensuring that all USB services are back to original settings. (Now you tell me what is the fix?)
  I think for most people with the question of the title, as usual you bugs recommended would get people upward and running or issuance autorun.ini I've seen mentioned, unless someone has already gone to town on the removal of any service that they don't like not the look of...

  TL/DR: It seems that in this case, it was down to services being stopped by the guru of the 'IT', and my following childs name is Arya. Happy days.

  Set a static IP address in the printer out of the router's DHCP range.  Use a channel wireless fixed like 1.6 or 11 never 'auto '.  Cycle so much power and reconnect.  Try now.

  I didn't add "colorful tabs" again...

  In addition, an easy solution... my mousepad has been 'sticky'... by removing just, my mouse works much better on my desk...

  now, everything is back to normal... no pop up several tabs, even in typing emails is better now as well.

  a. you are able to install some other updates?
  b. do you receive error messages when you start Microsoft Office Outlook?

  If you have a problem only in the Office Update installation, then I suggest you to report your problem in the Office Discussion groups. If not, try download office update from the link below and install it in clean boot mode.

  To enter the mode of clean boot of your computer, follow these steps.
  1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
   
  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
   
  2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
  3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.
  4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
  5. click on OK.
  6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
  7. after starting the computer, install the update.

  Follow these steps and check if they help.

  Step 1:

  At first I would recommend you change the file association music playing in Windows Media Player and check if that helps.

  The images could be anything - check the links Panel.

  What you see (and copy) is just the screen preview, not the actual image data.

  I know you hate Adobe, but this parameter does not have to do with Adobe at all, in fact... This is an internal setting of Firefox.

  Anyway, change go to Tools - Options - Applications and enter "pdf" in the filter field. Change the action associated with this type of file to do what you want, in this case always 'ask '.

  Firefox window is sometimes "off screen" somehow. Often, you can force it to appear on the screen by right clicking on the thumbnail image just above the taskbar and choose expand. Does it work?

  A possible cause for this is that the file that stores the positions and sizes of window is corrupt. You can delete this file and Firefox will return to standard window resizing.

  #1 method: If you can get a zoomed window:

  Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

  • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information

  Then, to re - light bars, you can use one of the following methods to view the list of the toolbar, and then select the desired bars it:

  • Right click on a place empty on the tab bar (or the button '+')
  • Press the Alt key to activate the classic menu bar > view > toolbars
  • in customize mode > show/hide toolbars (see: Customize Firefox commands, buttons, and toolbars)

  To activate the menu bar, toolbar bookmarks or other bars, click it in the list.
