Think video drivers especially if it may be others. Refer to the section of driver in my credits
methods of troubleshooting blue screen below. BIOS, chipset of low level drivers and
antispyway/antivirus/security programs can also cause this. Check the resolution of the problems and

    Cause

A driver tried to access a pageable (or that is completely invalid) address while the IRQL was too high.

This bug check is usually caused by drivers who used a wrong address.

If the first parameter has the same value as the fourth parameter, and the third parameter indicates a runtime operation, this bug check was probably caused by a driver who was trying to run code when the code itself has been paginated outside. The possible causes for the error page are:

    • The function was marked as pageable and was operating at an IRQL higher (including obtaining a lock).
    • The function call was made to a function in another pilot, and that this driver has been unloaded.
    • The function was called by using a function pointer that was an invalid pointer.

  • How can I do this blue screen? E 0 X 0000007

I can't start my computer. Last night he went to a white screen with a lot of letters and numbers that scrolled on the screen at random. I restarted and it took me to a black screen with a cursor. After pressing F8, I could attempt to restart with safe mode, but every time I do that it my screen is taken to the blue screen with a stop identity of: 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0x805D14A2, 0xF789E6BC, 0xF789E3B8). The only indications on how to proceed from here require to get to my office, that I can't access. I'm stuck! Any help is very grateful! Thank you

    Hi Bg1234,

    1. Did you recently installed an update or a service pack 3 on the computer?
    2. You have security software installed on the computer?

    Method 1

Disconnect all external devices except the keyboard and mouse connected to the computer.

Check if the computer can be started using the last known good configuration.

How to start your computer by using last good known Windows XP Configuration

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/307852

    Method 2

If the previous step fails, then try the method once the computer starts up with black screen with the cursor below.

    (a) press CTRL ALT DEL and the Task Manager will be displayed.

    (b) go to the process tab

    (c) RIGHT click on "explorer.exe".

    (d) select "complete the process".

    (e) make a left click on file in the menu bar

    (f) select "new task".

    (g) type "explorer" in the window that appears, and then press on enter

If you have recently installed an update or a service pack 3 on the computer then refer to the article below and check if it helps.

Since the update to El Capitan, during the scrolling of the screen guard snapping back to the top of the Web page. How can I stop this?

Please read this message before doing anything.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

Test in safe mode. Same problem?

After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.

Check your BIOS settings, looks like you have a setting for it to wake up at a specific time.

When I open a link that opens a new Firefox window, it opens 2 tabs instead of one. A tab is the link that I opened and the second tab is just a generic Mozilla tab with links to 12 pages like Facebook, Youtube, etc. This tab opens on top too, so I always have to close to get what I'm looking for. How can I stop this from happening?

Hello. Thanks for all the posts on this topic. I have the same problem, as described by the op. But, while I use Avast, I have NOT the add-on from Astromenda which has been mentioned. However, I have the SB installed toolbar, and it has been recently updated, 29/12. I suspect that it is the culprit, if this problem is in fact not caused by an update of Firefox (my tiles have recently been reset on new tabs, and I suspect that Firefox for this problem).

I am ready to remove the toolbar from the SB, but prefer to keep it (Yes, I admit I'm stupid) If this annoying 'new window = 2 tabs with 'new tab' at the top' would just leave.

Apart from the removal of the toolbar SB... does anyone have suggestions? I don't see that all recently added add-ons/extensions that I don't recognize, apart from the update of the toolbar of SB.

Updated: 5 minutes after this announcement, I disabled the toolbar of SB and restarted Firefox. No change.
