I assume you have Windows Live Messenger, because you have installed the Windows Live Essentials.
If so, a brief explanation...
Windows Live Essentials includes some programs that can be installed or NOT, must be installed. You can choose whoever you want. Now, you have 2 options...
1. you can disable. He will remain in the system but inactive.
2. you can purely and simply uninstall it, and it will be out of the system.

Open MSN Messenger > at the top, click on tools > click Options > column to the left, click on Sign In > straight column, uncheck all boxes > click OK done wnhen.RE: Uninstall Messenger
Start button > in the search box, type programs and features > press the Enter key. Scroll down to Windows Live Essentials > right click it > click on uninstall...
Follow the guests but be careful to screen > it will ask you what program to uninstall. Select Windows Live Messenger. Follow the prompts. You can check out this tutorial:

How can I stop Windows Live Messenger open at startup?
Windows Live Messenger opens whenever I start my laptop, and it does not to her PIN on the bar of.
Short of uninstalling this program (if that is even possible), how can I stop to open at startup and it detach all the time in the taskbar? Thanks for your help.Hello
I can help you to stop Live Messenger from running at startup but don't know why it won't let you it detach from the task bar. It should leave you with the right button and choose "unpin this program from the taskbar".On the login screen when messenger starts first, click Help on the right with the (?) and in the menu on the button, put a check mark next to "show the menu bar.OK - now you can access the menus at the top of the window. Go to tools-> Options. In the window that appears, click "sign in" on the list on the left and uncheck the box to the top right ("automatically run Windows Live Messenger when I log on Windows ')Next time you reboot, Live Messenger doesn't have to load at startup. It may be useful to uninstall and download again to see if there is a updated version that works better.Hope this will help -

I want to stop Windows Live messenger to start automatically.
I never use Windows Live Messenger, but it starts up and asks me to connect. How can I prevent that to happen?
Hi Matona,
Ok. He "starts and asks you to connect"... When you connect to your computer? If so, login once more, and here's how you turn off this option. Click under your name, and then click options. Then, select the "sign-in" section From there, uncheck the box "Automatically run Windows Live Messenger when I connect Windows". This will stop messenger from starting automatically.
Hope this helps,
