How can I transfer the creative suite CS5 to my old iMac to my new Macbook? Pro?

My father bought the Creative suite as a gift for me on my old iMac a few years ago. I recently bought a new Macbook Pro, and I would like to transfer is after all more or less Illustrator and InDesign. As far as I know, my father could sign their Adobe account and get the serial number of the purchase for me to download it again, the problem is however as it was 4 years ago, he can't remember the email he used or his password for his account of adobe. So, is there another way to get the serial key, or can I just copy the programs on my new Macbook with just a USB cord? What are my options?

This doesn't have to be such a scenario, black and white, leaving you dead in the water if you forgot the email address used to register the software.

Your best option is always to keep your own records. I mine store in a text file in Dropbox. It helps me to re - install the software on any device, anywhere where I am be.

Next Adobe offers several steps, find the serial number of your product Adobe quickly

If not, try running Mac product Key Finder. Recover lost key to product for Mac applications

Once that you can't find it, store it safely (for all of your software) in the event that this never happens again.
