  Thank you, in the end it worked.  But first I had to reinstall CC 2015 that something was wrong with the initial installation and the "previous" option was not available.  But now it works fine and I have my 2014 CC comes back with my plugins!

  I bought Creative Cloud on September last year and has never really work do I just send it in the trash along with all other records of creative cloud that I could find on the Finder. Now that I NEED to use Adobe Creative Suite, I can't reinstall the app because it says that my version is in use and I can't uninstall this latest version, because I deleted the uninstall program. I recently bought a new Macbook Pro, and I would like to transfer is after all more or less Illustrator and InDesign. So, is there another way to get the serial key, or can I just copy the programs on my new Macbook with just a USB cord? What are my options?

  This doesn't have to be such a scenario, black and white, leaving you dead in the water if you forgot the email address used to register the software.

  Your best option is always to keep your own records. I mine store in a text file in Dropbox. It helps me to re - install the software on any device, anywhere where I am be.
