  Probably the best place to start is with the help of high level for the control that you are interested in.   I usually just to go to the index tab in help, start typing the name of the control (timer in this case) and then choose the top level help topic.  From here, you can see the attributes that you can use the events you can capture, programming concepts, etc.

  This post does not have a good answer unfortunately and as we have problems similar change of system clock where urgent need to do some future and passed the test of logic date/time, I thought it would be to try again. Anyone know how we could accomplish this change of date/time of database without changing the clock system of the OS?

I have data I am gather and store it in a table in LabVIEW but I want to be able to take all the data table and write in a text or excel file.   It is not hard to do. If you have a main loop that collects data continuously, so you can wire just up the Boolean value control to a case structure, so when the button is true you write to the file. It is supposed to be a one-off, or are more than a rocker (which means that you connect so that the button is true)? You can also use a structure of the event. See the "New handler" example that comes with LabVIEW (help-> find examples).

  You can use the modulo operator, which produces the remainder after division by a number...

  If (number 6% == 0) {}

  being true says the number is divisible by 6

  I preached this whole week... my pleasure to increased win8 x 100 once I turned off the edge of the touchpad scan function.  The path may be slightly different, but the synaptics touchpad is the Control Panel / hardware and audio / mouse / device settings / settings / edge shot - and disable "enable edge scans".

  This prevents context changes maddening when browsing the web or doing anything on the touch pad really... you can always access the charms on the right upper or lower, and you can always access history FRO the top left corner after that you disable this... but it is much more controlled.

  Its pretty normal for a beginner to take the time to write code. Right-click the map of waveform > Create > property node > historical data, you will get a property node, keep this at the beginning of the code and create a constant. You can also go to the VI properties and > run and select "clear indicators when it is called.

  I recommend you to go through the basic materials of LabVIEW which will give you an understanding on the basics of bases/components of LabVIEW.
